#I didn’t like how Carl’s arc went #but especially in moments like this and then seeing how he thrived when actually encouraged #all this kid needed was someone who had his back to help him navigate everything #and yeah of course he had Fiona #but she was of course stretched far too thin to able to help him the way he needed #so like I don’t really like the whole military school or cop storyline #but my god did this kid really need that actually good boarding school structure #obviously a bad boarding school would’ve been worse #but he just needed proper structure and a little guidance #so much potential #ugh
