Anyway if you don't remember him he's Gatherer's predecessor and the grimwalker Belos is currently possessing.

He's also my emotional parentification self insert but let's skip that part, he does literally nothing in the coven, he was created to (1) be eventually possessed and (2) be Belos' emotional support animal in the meantime, that's it.

That was. One of the first doodles of gabi i did and boy is it ugly

Gabi decided to join in Hunter’s mission to stop the rebels trying to invade Belos’ mind, but with the intention to get to them before Hunter and entering his mind as well.

Once inside they separate from Luz and Hunter so they see completely different memories from them: the first painting depicts Abel, their predecessor and the grimwalker Belos is currently possessing, however they wrongly think it’s a memory that depicts them as they’re extremely similar, if not for a few features.

So they enter the painting, lament about favoritism and decide to leave right when the ceremony is about to start, once they realize this is not gonna give them answers about their lack of a sigil.

Moments before leaving the memory they hear an unfamiliar name at the end of the speech that should have closed with Gatherer’s own name, and they turn around to see a stranger who’s face is remarkably similar to theirs, who’s being given a role that, as Belos told them, was created for Gabi specifically and did not exist before they were born.

Quick doodle of Gatherer’s updated s3 design, the eye is missing because it rotted away basically, it’s canon that Belos “consumes” whatever being he’s possessing and since the idea was that he possessed Gabi via a cut on their face, the eye was one of the first things to go #sad

I just remembered that someone last year mentioned under a drawing of Gabi that they "looked like ghost from hollow knight” and i had absolutely no idea who they were at the time, which is funny to remember considering i’m obsessed with hollow knight right know.
