I’m curious; is there anyone in JJBA you haven’t drawn before, that you’ve wanted to but just haven’t had the chance or reason to yet? Not for any particular reason but, just because the cards just so happened to fall that way?

THAT GUY. He's so lovely to me. I need to draw him but literally no one remembers him. I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER HIS NAME. But I know for a fact he was lovely.

To be entirely honest, I'm entering a non-shippy stage in my brainrot. I am currently drunk on family fluffiness/angst and I cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel 😭😖

I do feel bad that I have followers that came for a thing I used to draw but it would be a disservice to the community and myself to draw things I'm no longer excited about.

Sorry for the downer of a reply but thank you for bringing it up 🙇‍♀️💛please don't feel guilty to stay, we all change in preference and I wholly understand my audience shifting as a result of that.

You most certainly will my friend. Actually, you'll reach a level that is entirely unique to you and that (I would argue) is much better than standing equally to someone else in skill.

Just wanted to say thank you for the continued comments and messages I get on my posts during my break from my socials - they uplift me a lot when I'm in my occasional slumps. My dissertation and studies are going exceedingly well so far and I am relatively happy despite my busy-ness.

I get asked these questions a lot about tips and motivation and I'm afraid that I give generic answers, but this is the truth. I strongly believe you don't need a massive message or ideology to be the backbone of everything you make to make satisfying art.

The hardest part, if anything, is getting to know yourself. Interrogate yourself why you even want to draw. I'm not asking for big answers here, it can be as simple as my desire to draw characters hugging all the time. Why? Because hugging is lovely. Seeing and feeling hugs make me happy, therefore I draw it. Ever since I was little I've been very tactile and so I made the connection that I love to observe people being affectionate.

It can be that "shallow" of a reason. If it means a lot to you then it's enough.

This is genuinely the best advice I can give, sorry if it's not what you're looking for.
