#IT'S SO FUCKING WEIRD WHY DID I LIKE make my sideblog basically my main blog now. #i hate it because now mildcicada is sooo empty but also it has like ghosts in it #but then fearcicada is also empty because no one i know is there. but its filled with posts. #like opposite ways of being empty and full #words #mine

Recently looked through some of the oldest art I made as a child and it was all SOO GOOD like it was just wow it was amazing. Art rules didn't exist I just was

#ugh thats what all those famous painters said but like they were so right so true. #but also looking back at my old art in general its all like so good #like all of it. and the art i make now. im not really talking about or concerned with the actual quality or skill of the pieces they are #just all so fucking good like every aspect of it. the emotionality of it and the thoughts i had behind them all like wow.. #im not trying to be insanely narcissistic but its just like the inherent quality to all art and how i can see myself through it ... #its more intense with my own art than others through how I know my thought processes and feelings behind it but like woow all art is so goo #like all of it. literally most basic feeling of all time i know but its true. #like the sky is always there but there are only some moments when you're in full awe of it ok #but its like woow how could i in the past ever be unsatisfied with any of my art...how could i be unsatisfied with it now when its already #perfect and always has been. #ugh 1 million 'shitty' (all art is beautiful wonders of the world) drawings must be made. #the monstrous green with envy demon inside of me overtakes me 99% of the time u see but i am like at peace right now #words #mine

#U Have No Idea How Much I Miss Her. #i need to start actually drawinf again its been a hellish 6 months #its really easy to just fall out of the habit of it #i used to obsess over never being someone who just suddenly stopped drawing for weeks/months #it scared me. like a core part of my identity would have to change for that to happen or would be changed by that happening #and then once i didn't draw and wasn't drawing i felt like i needed something to violently change about myself to get me to start doing it #again. but i didn't need that i just drew something again and that was it. like that stretch of time didn't happen #drawing is just an activity you can choose to do or not do and there are no consequences for whatever decision you chose to take but it felt #so serious to me it is like i viewed it like death #which i was right about in a way but mostly in how death is just a thing that happens and that it wont be that sudden and insane #you will just be and then not be just like how you weren't and now are. its just like me drawing or not drawing lol #but that comic of ht papyrus by jnpie where he's looking at the puzzles he used to make and wondering if he'll ever do that again. or if he #wants to. its like that feeling. it always sticks in my mind #i have like a fear of thinking about when i will no longer care about something i care about now and its so weird when. realize i stopped #wanting to do something and caring about it and. i feel nothing on account of no longer caring about it lol. but i know that past me #is currently looking forward at me now and terrified. this is unrelated to that comic a lot but its like. thinking about how i will change #words #mine #IM NOT TAGGING THE ART bc i wanna actually finish some of these pieces tbh and like they are just the backdrop for my thoughts... #feels so hashtag tumblr to talk to yourself about some vague ass feelings or situation that no one else will look at ugh thats like #The tumblr experience. but i love reading other's personal posts and tags though..

#but also (I have more to say but hate writing in an actual post) i do think jonah is obvious not consciously aware #of everything and all that and has to willingly seek out info/read someone's mind etc but. OBVIOUSLYYY he would be like hmm let me check for #any potential issues with this body. hmmmmmm #WHAT WAS I THINKINGGG. ugh okay i need to draw him as another cat asap..

#when i was first coloring him in he was gonna be golden chinchilla colored but then i was like ehhh jonah magnus should be red/orange but #elias should be gray ...so i just desaturated what i already did instead of recoloring lol but #he is now supposed to be shaded silver lol #but thats why his coat pattern is on the darker side compared to what it *should* be #og elias bouchard coming from an important/roch family and while whole thing with thinking he just *deserves* stuff bc of his upbringing. #etc. -> he is purebred and matches the breed standards etc for a scottish fold of his color #obviously the eye color doesn't matter because. ahaha #i thought elias fit the Scottish fold vibes because: Scottish folds are known for looking sort of like owls and having intense eyes #and the cat body/face type (also present in british shorthairs) to me gives off sort of... unnasumming vibes? #like ahaha yes i am a boring boss who loves paperwork look at how unnasumming i am season 1-2 elias y'know #trying to think of what cat breed jonah would be. and also jon gerry etc you know all the other characters i like #would it be boring to have multiple british shorthairs #i mean.. #Michael shelley/distortion is a laperm that's all I know #i didn't particularly care with the personality attributes associated with eliascat because it didn't need to fit his personality on account #of not being his original body. but i do try to keep in mind the best personality/look/etc. cat attributes as a whole for a character #also sometimes get obsessed with jt making historical and geographical sense but then it just limits me greatly to a point im not into it #so i don't care about specific breeds in that respect lol #tma #my art #elias bouchard #the magnus archives #some notes looking back(made it 2 hours ago but still looking back ok..) on it now are that i feel like elias would never choose this breed #for his next bodyhop because of the inherent health issues in scottish folds. I saw the breed was created in like the early 1960s and #assumed that maybe the health issues wouldn't have been common knowledge until later enough for jonah to be unaware of them but actually no #there's legislation about it like 6 years later LOL so jonah would..maybe not make this choice #i guess in the future when drawing i will just make him a British shorthair #my catTMA is simultaneously 'they are just regular cats or like all show cats or something' and 'exact tma plot but as intelligent cats' #LOL its just vague in my mind idk..also maybe jon can be an Abyssinian #ALSO WHAT WAS I THINKING 'jonah may not have been aware about x thing' like did i...did i forget. me 2 hours ago was dumb as rocks
