Not sure if I should ask on this one or on your other blog but uh

What are your thoughts on Hildavio? (If you don’t want to answer you can just ignore this ask, I’m just curious)

Hey!

Hilda and Ravio from albw? Yea I can see them working as a romantic couple! Its cute and I can see why people ship it.

Personally I prefer exploring them in a non-romantic context. Although I do think they're in many ways platonic life partners.(Queerplatonic?) Those two wont go anywhere the other cant follow unless it is to save the other-- for better or worse.

I like to think one day they sort out their issues and find a balance of being close but not codependent. :)

Did u notice? Every page now has links to the previous, next and first pages of this comic!! 🙌💛 No, I didn't spend two days to put them all on every page, that'd be ridiculous-- I paid a friend to do it.

My long time best friend who wanted to be credited as "The cowboy" took on the grueling task of going through every single page and adding the links! They also wrote up an interesting summary thingg

What they learnt on their few day adventure was that there are 116 updates of Linkverse in total, and 432 pages!! I'm. I can't believe I've drawn all that to be honest. Also the comic's longest update is the final part of Rabbit roadtrip with 10 pages!!

i remember you mentioning before that you don't really do sketches- just get straight to the lineart. the sketching/lineart process takes way more time than everything else, for me, and i was wondering if you have any tips for doing it your way?

The answer to how I do this might not be what you want to hear: A lot of practice. I've put a frick ton of time into learning to draw fast, because it is a skill like any other with art.

I can share some quick tips on how I practised and my thinking process though, if people still are curious and may wanna give it a shot!

One of the main ways I practiced this was by using permanent pens and markers while doodling in school. I always disliked how pencil smudged so that came kinda naturally to me, but it was a huge help anyway!

When you work directly onto a pristine white canvas with no guideline you're forced to really think about where you put each line, and get over the fear of mistakes. By doing this you can grow a natural understanding of where the next thing you're going to draw should be.

(Sorry if the picture is not a good explanation, I've never been much a teacher. (Also for full disclosure I did use ctrl+z when drawing this example.)) Here I tried to picture how by having the face shape lined, I can use knowledge of anatomy and what looks good to place the eye of the character in. Then with the eye in I can "Unlock" more feature locations!

It also helps being familiar with the character... I've drawn the cast of this comic so many times that these boys just show up when I ask lol.

This approach has a lot of issues, like it can be very hard to keep a character design consistent. Another is that if u get too bogged down on doing the same thing that works you're going to start making some really stale looking art-- It's so important to not just draw what works but to go for ugly perspectives and weird experiments.

Still, I hope this can help someone! It's not a method that works for everyone, but it's a fun one to explore :)

I'm really sorry to ask this, and feel free to ignore! But is there anyway you might be able to add a previous link on the pages? If not that's okay, I just have a hard time making sure I'm reading in order and when I catch up I end up reading it backwards 😅. No worries if not!

Also, thank you for this comic! It's genuinely so sweet and I love your style and the way you use colors! The ability to write a good story and do the art can be pretty hard and taxing, and you do such a good job of it. Thank you!

Haha I'm gonna take it as a compliment that you think I have the mental focus and time to set that up 😋

Unfortunately this comic's archiving is likely to always suffer from the fact its ran by an artist who does not enjoy maintaining lists and stuff. 😔 I try to keep the full comic list updated and the webtoons as well, but I'm sure long time followers have seen how that is going. (Better than I expected though! At least we HAVE an archive!)

I really appreciate your kind words though, and am extremely thankful for people keeping up with my mess despite the trouble💛 It means the world to me.

Ravio seems to be well established in both Hyrule and Lorule. Where does he live at this point?

Does Hilda ever travel to Hyrule?

How’s Feathers holding up with everything? He seemed….stressed ^^’

I have answered these! But it won't hurt to do so again 👍

Ravio lives in both Lorule and Hyrule, swapping between places depending on where he's needed. His main job is making money in Hyrule which is then used in Lorule to help the rebuilding efforts.

Hilda also travels between the worlds, but much more rarely. She strongly believes she should remain at the her kingdom to keep a good eye on things, but Zelda insists she come over for sleepovers every now and then!! Those visits do a lot of good for her mental health.

Feathers is good :) Just look at that smile :)

Thank you everyone for your great Booping efforts. Astoundingly my meter went from 40 Boops to 1000 in a few minutes after I posted this. After that the whole day it would swap from "MAX" to "LOL" to "OMG" to "MAX" again. I dont know what that means but it seems impressive. 👍

What do homelives look like for these guys? Like- who's dating/becoming friends with who? Anybody have family/friends who they especially miss? Any headcanons that might not be as popular as you'd like them to be?

This could be answered super long form and indepth, but I think its more fun to pick up those things from the comic itself (+ bonus art stuff)

Still! I'm happy to share some bits ✌ But know that theres way more deets and ideas.

Post-game sksw is a setting I've talked about quite indepth on the blog before, but for a quick recap:

Zelda and Link are dating. A lot of skyloft folks have joined in the effort to settle on the surface, but so far only Link and Zelda's house is done. Groose, his goons and Karane are working on building more + some help from other skyloft folks. Pippit cooks for them after a hard day's work and is dating Karane.

Groose was invited by Zelda and Link to live in their house, but has refused to and instead stays at the temple. He says he's looking after it with grandma being gone.

In my hcs Groose, Zelda and Link end up in a poly relationship one day 💛 However the comic isn't about romance so any romantic progression with them is unlikely to show up beyond subtext in the pages.

Legend's life post Link's Awakening is smth I'm keeping fairly vague as I feel the points that matter aren't where they may sleep at night, but where they don't. That'll be explored in the comic, but basically: He's a loner and does not really interact with folks beyond neccesity.

He has a professional relationship with princess Zelda, who sometimes tasks him with places to go do hero stuff at.

Also not sure if this counts but they do visit their Uncle's grave now and then for maintanance.

Mini loves his grandpa who also loves his grandson very much. 🙌 Grandpa struggles to keep up with Mini's intense personality and general unstoppability, but besides that things are good back home.

He spends a lot of time adventuring, guarding and investigating around Hyrule so he can keep the kingdom safe! But he also likes sneaking into the castle to hang with Zelda 😊 They're bestest of friends and get in a lot of trouble together.

In a very subtle way the comic does imply Mini marries into Royalty at some point, but I left it vague so ppl can ignore that if they wanna!
