Good morning!
How about we start this hump day off right with practicing what I preach? Self-compassion! Click on the link below for the newest blog post I whipped up!
https://mindfulnesswithmo.com/how-self-compassion-can-change-your-life/
Do you treat yourself like you would treat a friend? It's time to stop berating yourself and letting your inner critical voice take off at high speed whenever you make a mistake. Offering yourself self-compassion does not mean you are not taking personal responsibility. Instead, it helps you move forward with grace while learning from your short-comings.

We experienced a personal loss in our family today. Pet grief is very real and often times it can feel minimized.
Sharing our stories can be healing so I’m deciding to practice what I preach this time around. Read on for Mojo’s story and coping tips on how to manage the loss of a pet.

New post up!
All women are influenced by cultural messages in one way or another; however, these messages can be especially difficult to overcome for women with ADHD.

You are NOT crazy. There may be some days you FEEL crazy BUT ... YOU 👏🏼 ARE 👏🏼 NOT 👏🏼 CRAZY 👏🏼
Medication is self care for some.
There is NOTHING shameful about taking meds for mental health. It can be such a gift to have something that gets us feeling like ourselves again.
So, if you’re one of those who uses medication .. then here’s your friendly reminder to take your dang meds! 😉🤗

Stay wild ladies!
We have many deep rooted socialatal expectations that we subconsciously cage ourselves in. Recognize them and break them!
There is no right way to BE.

When we try to control things we can’t control (*ahem life*), we are more prone to anxiety.
Instead, practice radical acceptance!
Example: Lets say that tomorrow you have this huge camping trip planned that you’ve been looking forward to all summer! ... and it rains 🤦🏼‍♀️. You can reject reality and suffer all day thinking about the plans you made that you can’t do. You can’t change the rain. Instead, you can just accept it for what it is and move on with your day with different plans. Accepting leads to less suffering.
Now, try to apply this to a bigger aspect of your life. ☺️

Hi there! My name’s Dani Donovan, and I’ve been told a lot of you here on Tumblr like my comics. I think ADHD is seriously misunderstood, and I want to help vocalize our invisible struggles.
These are just 10—I’ve got almost all of them of them on Twitter/Instagram (@danidonovan) but will be working on getting them over to Tumblr for you now that I’ve got a page! :)

I have this core belief that people are doing their best with what they have.
Always remember that there’s more going on in the inside than you see on the outside.
More simply put, people are avocados 🤗
