Government does not give a flying %^%$^&
I complained about their policy to renew a disabled parking permit placard.
Their response, in New Brunswick,
Good afternoon,
Thank you for your inquiry . Our policy states that Permanent Disability placards are issued for a maximum of 5 years ( expires the last day of the month ) . Prior to your placard expiring you would need to renew your disabled parking placard at your local Service New Brunswick. Each time you renew you must submit an application that is completed by your medical practitioner. I do apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you.
Sincerely ,
^^^
My answer back,
Well firstly thank you for your response.
However, your policy needs to change.
This is an inconvenience to anyone with limited mobility.
From standing in line with a bad leg and then discover this "process".
Sorry but no.
Unacceptable.
But again I realize it's your policy and not you or your employee.
In Nova Scotia, for example, this does not occur. The placard is simply renewed after sending the holder a letter asking if they wish to renew.
You have to realize how difficult you make this for anyone with limited mobility.
And now I have to go from March 1 to the end of the month before my Dr can fill out the form and I can get a new placard.
Not you, I realize.
You need to escalate this, this should not happen.
To anyone with limited mobility.

Province Outlook on Social Assistance
Stupid Policy.
If you get $600 in EI, it is deducted dollar for dollar and hence no basic assistance and the system won't allow extras unless they manually override them.
But if I work $600 freelance, I would still get a top up and therefore eligible for the additional supplements.
Do they not realize how stupid this policy is?
It's like having your local Superstore say because you work for Wal-Mart your groceries will be half price while someone who works for the government will pay double.
Just pure discrimination and stupidity.
This evil, rotten Cabal world needs taking down.
Been in place for thousands of years, so good luck and that.

W Magazine party was a couples event. Yet Sam and Cait were the only co stars photographed. Hmmm, co stars my @@@!
Tumblr media
Old pics
I have no idea if all these pictures have ever circulated in this fandom. If they did, please forgive my exuberance.
This one, we've seen probably a million times:
Tumblr media
The Golden Globes party in LA, on January 4th 2018. Exactly six years ago and a couple of days after the EFH.
Right? Right!
But I wonder if the following pictures, taken immediately before, have been as widely seen and discussed as the one above.
This one, for example...
Tumblr media
Followed by this one...
Tumblr media
... and then this one, I can't - for the life of me - help but find very telling:
Tumblr media
And before you whirl and hurl and shout via Anon: these are the originals from the Getty Archive. I did absolutely nothing with them, no filter, nothing. Just screencapped.
Available to just about anybody with spare time and a keyboard.
I rest my case. Time is of no essence, here. What is, however, important, is that the woman so invested in that particular embrace was supposed to be just engaged. To somebody else.
Who was just there, too. In what capacity?
Engaged, my flat foot.

My Rant
System simply fails people. It does ...
My email to NB MLA for Kings County area of New Brunswick Canada.
^^^
I cannot find the name of a supervisor nor do I remember the name of the woman from the program who called me tonight.
I never met her. I only met D#### ---- from ##$$$$$.
I applied for the program for a worker to help with light housekeeping because as K#### knows, I have been financially limited for years.
I have ongoing issues health wise and I am physically limited, yes, in that I cannot stand or walk for long periods.
I have the federal Disability Tax Credit because of this.
I only met D#### and not the Supervisor nor the person for this program from the ##### area.
Therefore she had no basis to judge me.
Physically, mentally or otherwise.
She was basing her information on what the women from the Agency was reporting to them.
When they came here, they realized the house needed deep cleaning and they started to help to a degree.
But that came to an end last Friday when one of the women, more or less on an outspoken moment decided to speak to me in a way that in my opinion was uncalled for and mean.
What she accused me of was not true. I stupidly tried to argue and asked her to leave those areas for me to handle personally.
She refused and leading the way, walked out and taking the younger woman with her. She said it was unsafe and they were walking out and to clean my house myself.
I later called the Agency and apologized for my behavior but didn't appreciate how the woman talked to me, etc. I also said they were doing a good job.
Woman on the phone said, "No worries, " and hung up.
Tonight I got the Dear John phone call from the new social worker handling the issue. She spoke her name fast I had no clue. Same with her Supervisor. No idea the person's name. I believe he called me one night when D##### was sick and stood me up on our agreed appointment.
She said that based on the women's assessment of me , I didn't need help personally with anything physical or mental and therefore I wasn't eligible for their program because it was only light housekeeping they had to offer and I needed someone to deep clean.
She said the same was true of other Agencys and because of my not needing physical or mental help, I wasn't eligible for support to pay a private worker either from the Province either.
She said that they were dropping me and they were closing my file.
I said it won't be me judging you ... but do what you have to do based on your rules. I forgive you.
I also said when a person is so far I into the financial hole like I am, there's no getting out and that the system is purposely designed for people to fail.
I am not eligible for any NB Repair Program because I owe taxes for my house.
I am on the list for housing and have been for years. Nothing.
I would list this in a heart beat, but nothing.
I keep getting the house up for sale for tax bills ... I am unemployed and on sick benefits that will run out in January.
My house needs major repairs and cannot afford to fix it. Likely not safe to live in, but here it is.
A rock and a hard place. System is designed for people to fail.
But those women, one of them that Friday said some very cruel things to me that I feel was unfair and not true.
And they pay me back by reporting to the worker that I am not physically or mentally disabled and therefore not eligible for their services or even for the Program from the Department.
Well, for starters they are not Dr's. No medical degree and one of the women fought with me. Hardly the best judge of anyone, in my opinion.
Forgive my rant, but a lot of your "rules" leave people adrift.
Thank you for your time.
^^^
Just my thoughts and opinion.
My blog. My opinion.

The Widower
***
Darrin the Bold stood outside his wife’s bedchamber where she lay in childbirth. The babe had been expected a fortnight ago. But her labor pains hadn’t come until yesterday morning. That was over twenty four hours ago. She labored still. His wife was young, only eighteen and this was their first child. He’d wanted, no he’d needed an heir. So he’d wed the girl last summer. Within a month she was with child, but she’d been sickly and generally weak. The doctors had ordered her on bedrest because of her health and pregnancy. Meanwhile Darrin had bedded every lass he could find. But there had been one special one, she’d been something. He’d bedded her the once only to have her disappear. He’d seen her once more, but she’d disappeared. He’d never seen her again. Dang, he thought. She’d been one heck of a woman. He sighed. He looked back at the bedchamber. He saw the doctor coming toward him. “Well? You have news? Of her? Of the child?” He asked him.
The physician shook his head. “I am sorry my lord. You’re wife has succumbed in childbirth. The babe was a boy, also gone my lord. My deepest sympathy my lord,” he told him.
Darrin the Bold glared at him. “You mean, both?” He swore under his breath. This was his third marriage. And no heir. No wife. He was a widower once again. He bent his head. He would be expected to honor a period of mourning. Dang it. He looked at the physician. “Deal with everything. As before. I need the chamber cleaned of every reminder of her. Is that clear?” He asked him.
The physician and Darrin the Bold’s manservant standing with the doctor nodded his head. “It shall be done, milord.” He told him.
Darrin the Bold looked at Georg, his steward. “Find me a woman for the night. Have her brought to my chambers. Be discreet.” He told him.
“Yes, milord.” He replied.
Endora scowled at Serena. She shook her head. “How could you have done this, Serena? He was a married man.” She told her. Serena in a heated moment and at a time when he’d been vulnerable had slept with Derwood’s boss, Larry Tate. Larry’s wife, Louise had left him, and Larry in a drunken state had slept with Serena. Serena was known for her philandering with men. But Derwood’s boss? No, that was below the belt. Her daughter Samantha and Derwood both were furious with her. Endora sighed. She needed to deal with Serena, if only for the moment. For her own safety, she needed to get Serena away from her family.
Serena held her head down. She knew that Endora was right. She’d always found Larry Tate cute, and on a weakened moment, she’d slept with him. She’d only meant to comfort the man. He was hurting badly because his wife of over ten years had left him for another man. He was drinking heavily and she’d tried to comfort him. But in his inebriated state, one thing had led to another, and she’d slept with him. In the morning, she knew that Larry had regretted it. Upset about it all, he’d driven off and his car slid on an icy road. He was killed instantly. It had upset her terribly. Serena had liked Larry. Now he was dead, partially because of her. “I know, Auntie. I cared about Larry, and one thing led to another, and ---" Serena replied, her voice breaking off. “I never meant for this to happen.” She began. She felt tears well up in her eyes.
Endora nodded. “I realize that, but right now, I need you to get you away from here. From this family. This is too raw.” She explained.
Serena nodded. “What do you want to do? What do you want me to do?” She asked her Aunt.
Endora sighed. “I consulted with the Witches Council. I suggested something and they’ve agreed.” Endora began. “I am going to send you back to the 14th century. You were there before, and I believe that you liked it there. That you liked the man. Right now, he’s hurting a little. Angry mostly, but still. His third wife has died in childbirth, and the babe lost. I want to send you back to him. Hopefully you will be content with him. He needs someone and I think so do you. You’ll be sent back and although you cannot leave the location, your powers will work otherwise. It will be up to you on what to tell him. Using your powers in this timeframe will be dangerous. I’d stress caution.” Endora advised.
Serena looked at her aunt, bewildered. “You intend to send me back to a certain person?”
Endora nodded. “Yes. I want you to marry him if he’s willing. I think he will be.”
Serena gazed at Endora in shock. “Married?”
Endora nodded. “Yes. The council feels it’s the one thing that may calm you down.”
Serena shook her head. “But, to whom?” she wanted to know.
Endora looked at her. “To Derwood’s ancestor. Darrin the Bold.” She replied.
Serena was speechless. She tried to hide her smile. She giggled. She felt her girl parts warm a little. She’d liked him.
Endora laughed, picking up on Serena’s interest. “I thought you might like the idea. He’s asked for a woman to his chambers tonight. You will be that woman. Good luck.”
Endora looked at her niece and recited her incantation that sent Serena back to Darrin the Bold. She smiled. Hopefully he will help that girl, she thought. She watched as Serena disappeared.
Darrin the Bold waited in his chambers, dressed in just his night robes. He wondered who they’d find for him. Sometimes the girls weren’t much, either too young and inexperienced. Or they were too old, their bodies spent. He waited nervously. He hadn’t had a woman in a while and his need was getting urgent.
Serena stood nervously in the outer chamber from Darrin the Bold. She’d let the chamber maid help her with her bath and hair. She was dressed in a silk night rail with a matching robe. She hadn’t seen this man for over six months. But she remembered how he’d made her feel. Derwood’s ancestor or not, she’d liked him. She was aroused just in thinking about him. She nervously knocked on his bedchamber door.
Darrin the Bold heard the knock and muttered, “Enter.” Not turning around, he’d heard her come in. He’d heard her shut the door. He’d heard her soft voice, calling out to him. “My Lord,” she said softly.
Darrin the Bold smiled. He knew that voice. My God, he thought, could it be? That wench, her memory had haunted him. He turned to look at the woman. It was her! “Serena,” he breathed. “Lass, it’s you.” He murmured softly.
Serena smiled and nodded. “Yes. It’s me, my Lord.” She replied.
Darrin the Bold crushed her against him and lifted her high in the air. “It’s you, lass. It’s truly you!” He exclaimed breathlessly. He set her on her feet and kissed her. He drew back and kissed her again, putting his tongue in her mouth. “Where have you been, lass? I’ve missed you.”
Serena grinned. “A long way from here, but I have missed you, too.” She replied. She reached up and kissed him passionately.
Darrin the Bold held her tight  against him. He nodded. “Do you know anything about my situation right now?” He asked her.
Serena nodded. “That you’ve just lost your wife and child in child bed? Yes, I know. My condolences, my Lord.” She told him.
Darrin the Bold nodded. “My third marriage. Always been the same fate. I need an heir. I am supposed to be in mourning, but my need for an heir ---" he explained. He sighed. He wanted to marry this girl. Somehow, there was something about this girl that was different. She stirred feelings in him that he’d never had with other women. Darrin the Bold looked at her. “This may sound crazy, or too soon, but I be wondering if you would consider marrying me, lass.” He told her.
Serena took a deep breath. Oh boy. Oddly enough she wanted to marry him. Good heavens, but she realized that she was in love with Derwood’s ancestor. Somehow Endora had known it. Suddenly she understood what Sammy saw in her Derwood. She saw the same things in Darrin the Bold. It was time to acknowledge his real name, she thought. She looked at him nervously. “You really want that? But what about your wife? And all of that?” She asked.
Darrin the Bold shook his head. “ I need a wife. I need an heir. I need you. You’ve been on my mind since I met you, lass. It’s you I want. We can marry quietly and not announce it everywhere. I am as shocked as you, lass. But I want to wed you.” He replied.
Serena nodded. “All right, my Lord.” She replied. She wondered if she should tell him. She sighed. He may find out, she told herself. Not now, she thought.
He smiled and pulled her into his arms. “Good. Right now, though, I’d like to look at you, lass.” He murmured. He reached out and pushed her night robes off of her. He smiled and reached out and cupped her full breasts. He pulled her naked body against him and let her feel his desire for her. His member had been rock hard since he’d seen her standing there looking at him.
Serena smiled at the sight of him gazing admiringly at her nude form. She'd held her age well, considering all things. She chuckled. If he only knew, she thought, remembering Sammy’s Darrin and how he’d reacted to the family. Serena was proud of her curves, in all the right places, or so she thought. Darrin the Bold’s member was liking her at least. That much was evident with his desire for her jutting out against her stomach.
Darrin the Bold bent down and put his mouth on her full breast. He put a hand between her legs and caressed the wet curls there. He held her upright as her knees started to buckle as he continued to stroke her. He heard her gasp from the pleasure he was giving her. He tightened his hold around her waist and eased her back against the pillows. He dropped his own robes and eased down beside her on the bed. He put his mouth on her erect nipple while he stroked her with his fingers. His desire to pleasure this girl was intense. He chuckled as he felt her squirm and buckle underneath him from her growing need. With a groan he pulled her body beneath him and sheathed himself in her in one swift motion.
Serena moaned as Darrin the Bold buried himself deep inside her and began pumping his hips against hers. She wrapped her legs around him and lifted herself in rhythm to his own motions against her swollen vagina. She began moving her hands up and down over the taut muscles of his back and buttocks. She felt her own muscles squeezing around him. She felt his hips jerk as they came off together, his seed spurting into her. She sighed. She’d been with many men, too many to count, but it had never been this good. Serena understood for the first time what Sammy had sought after with Darrin. She smiled with contentment.
Darrin the Bold cried out in ecstasy as he went over the edge and spent himself inside this girl. It was different. He sighed. He pulled her closer and held her. Usually he’d push his women away from him at this point. But this one, he had a strong impulse to hold her and keep her near forever. This one was dangerous. He knew that. Unlike his previous wives … he sighed and dozed off beside her with her in his arms.
Serena smiled as she felt him drift off to sleep. She snuggled contentedly in the warmth of his arms. Yawning, she let sleep take her.
Darrin the Bold stirred in the night, his erection was jutting out against Serena’s ample bottom. He reached out and began caressing her between her legs. He smiled. Even in her sleep, she was already damp from his stroking her. He put two fingers inside her and began moving them in and out while his thumb pressed on that little nubbin at the vee of her legs. She moaned in response and pushed her bottom back against him to give him better access. He grinned. His need was rampant, but he liked pleasuring this girl.
Serena heaved and bucked uncontrollably as Darrin the Bold kept manipulating her between her legs. She burned with desire. “Milord,” she moaned, “what are you doing?” She cried out as she felt her climax building.
Darrin the Bold kissed her naked shoulder. “Making you come apart in my hands.” He muttered. “I want you badly, lass. But you’re coming with me.” Feeling her tense and convulse as her orgasm built, he thrust hard from behind and drove himself deep inside her. She mewled loudly  as she went over the edge at that moment. He grinned. He began pounding into her with a furious rhythm. Feeling himself about to lose control with his own climax, he stroked the front of her hard. She screamed her pleasure as her second orgasm sent her over the edge the second time. He groaned, his body shaking as he emptied himself into her, feeling like he’d never stop. Spent and out of breath, he held her damp body against him. The need to hold her scared him.
Serena, in the aftermath, lay there boneless and still. She’d never felt like this with anyone. No man, whether warlock or mortal, could top this. She felt herself being turned in his arms.
Darrin the Bold turned her to face him. He put his hand out and stroked her damp hair. He bent down and kissed her. “I swear, lass. I cannot get enough of you. I will see our parish priest this morning. I want us married as soon as I can arrange it.” He told her.
Serena nodded. “Won’t he object to doing this so quickly? Usually there’s a specific amount of time to be observed,” she began.
Darrin the Bold shook his head. “No matter. I have influence a plenty, lass. I can get him to bend to my will.” He replied. He pulled her against him. “Worry not, milady. Tis still early yet. Sleep now.” He held her as she drifted off a second time. This girl unnerved him. He wanted her close. The more he had of her, the more he wanted her. He sighed. She was dangerous. But he didn’t care. He wanted to marry her. And marry her, he would.
Serena laid back in the huge bathtub savoring the heat and scent of the water from the sweet herbs her house maids had used to prepare it. She sighed in contentment. Never had she felt more pampered or spoiled. It was her wedding night and her house maids were helping her dress for her wedding night. She giggled considering that she could have just zapped up everything. But, they were doing the bidding of her new husband.
It had been an eventful day. Darrin the Bold had arranged for the special license and had arranged everything with the priest for their wedding today. Her maids had helped her into a beautiful wedding gown full of lace and splendor. They’d stood together at the altar in the small chapel where they’d said their vows. The priest had presided over the entire ceremony and had proclaimed them man and wife. Her husband had never looked more handsome. Afterward there had been food and drink in the Great Hall. After hours of celebration, the women had led her upstairs  to prepare her to receive her new husband.
Her maids had brought her into the bridal suite where the two women stripped her down and put her naked into the hot bath. It was a strange feeling to allow them to administer to her, but because of her new husband, she obliged them. They tied her hair up and put sweet herbs into the bath. One of the girls helped her bathe  -- that was the strangest experience for Serena. She’d been used to doing that herself, but she allowed herself to be pampered. She looked at the girl as she stepped over to her again. She held out a huge towel and helped Serena step out of the bath. Serena stood there as both women dried her off. She giggled. It tickled in places. She wasn’t used to being helped; it was a little embarrassing. The woman drew a linen shift over Serena’s head.
Gertie, the house maid after helping her new mistress from the huge tub, led her over to the large changing table in the center of the room. In some cases their lord liked to have his women diapered and hence the reason for the table. In this instance however their lord had advised it would not be used in that way for his new bride. Gertie shook her head. Their lord had his ways about him. She laid her mistress against the back rest on the table. She went over and mixed the hot water with the scented soap and picked up the brush and small razor that went with it. His lord asked that they shave her Mistress.
Serena looked horrified as she watched the two women. One had lifted the shift until it was up around her waist. It left her lower parts exposed and naked. She blushed at the sight of them looking at her in this way. The bath was bad enough, but this? And when she saw Gertie with the pan of hot water and the soap? And the razor?  Good grief, Serena thought. They intend to shave me, down there. She turned beet red at the notion.
Gertie came over and put a hand on Serena. “Easy milady, don’t be afraid. His Lord asked for this. It won’t hurt you. It will make your experience better. It is our custom for the bride on her wedding night, here with our Lord to do this.” She replied. She firmly eased Serena back against the head rest while the other maid started to lather her Mistress between her legs. After she’d lathered her, she switched places with Gertie. Gertie expertly began shaving her there. She wiped her off afterward with a soft, warm towel. She rubbed scented oils between her legs. She sprinkled her with aromatic herbs.
Serena just about died of embarrassment as the women worked on her privates. In all her years, she’d never had such an experience. She watched with horror when she saw her coming over with a triangular cloth.
Gertie saw her alarm and pushed her back again. She motioned to the other maid to hold her there. Gertie quickly put the leather thong dipped in oils into her Mistress. She left the little string exposed and peeking out of her there. She took the cloth undergarment and put it underneath her Mistress’s bottom. She took each corner and tied each side, fashioning a special undergarment for her Mistress. She shook her head at seeing milady’s reaction. This was mild for Darrin the Bold. This was just for their mutual pleasure on their wedding night. Usually with his women, he’d insisted on the diapers. Strange man, he was, Gertie thought. She looked at her horrified Mistress and smiled. “Do not worry milady. These are only meant to enhance Milord’s and your pleasure on your wedding night. Nothing more. Milord cares about you deeply milady. You can believe me on that. Now, you are to get into the huge bed and wait. Milord will come to you.” She assured her.
Serena allowed herself to be tucked into the huge bed. They laid her back against the pillows. She watched as both women departed and shut the door. She shook her head, and shivered from her recent experience. She felt warm. Whatever they’d inserted up into her burned a little. More like an ache, she thought. She waited for her husband.
Darrin the Bold looked over at the woman in his bed and smiled. Serena lay back against the pillows, her hair down. She looked like a vision in the candlelight. He came over and stood by the bed. “Good evening milady. You look  -- “ he began, he sat down on the bed beside her. He bent down and kissed her. He groaned when she kissed him back. Shivering with his need of her, he went over to the bench and quickly removed his tunic and outerwear until he was dressed only in his chausses. He came back to the woman and slipped into the huge bed beside her. He pulled her against him, opening the front of her shift, and buried his face between her breasts. He pulled her against him and let her feel his growing need for her.
Serena moaned at the wet feel of Darrin the Bold’s mouth against the soft skin of her chest. She could feel the thong burning between her legs. She squirmed and bucked in response.
Darrin sat up and quickly pulled her upright. Frantic, he lifted the shift from her body, leaving Serena in just the linen underwear the women had tied on her privates. He looked down and groaned at the sight of her wearing the bit of cloth on her there. He felt his manhood pulsating in reaction. “I, uhhh, sorry but I need you lass. Now.” He muttered. He quickly ripped the cloth from her body. He smiled at her freshly shaved loins. He saw the little string peeking out from her cunny. “I bet that burns, aye?” he asked, tugging lightly on the string. He tugged it again.
Serena thrashed about helplessly as she felt him rip off the cloth from her and pull on the string. She burned from the feel of the thong still deep inside her. She felt slightly embarrassed at being so exposed before her husband with her freshly shaved privates and the string peeking out between her legs. She felt vulnerable and helpless somehow. This was her husband, but his behavior was different. He felt strange somehow.
Darrin the Bold grinned. He bent down and tugged on the string a third time. He watched her squirm in response. “It’s meant to burn a little, but in a good way. It should make your experience better.” He explained. Suddenly he pulled out the thong, hard.
Serena screamed her ecstasy as the thong was abruptly pulled out of her sheath. The burning from before and the hard friction of its removal seemed to trigger her orgasm. She mewled softly in its aftermath, still moaning when she felt him suddenly bury himself deep inside her already sensitive quim. She wrapped her legs around him and clutched his shoulders while he pumped and rocked his hips against hers in a virulent rhythm.
Darrin the Bold continued to pound into his wife at a frantic pace. He lifted her bottom to put her higher into the air as he heaved and bucked into her. Feeling his orgasm building he put his thumb on her little nubbin and stroked her. Groaning he emptied himself into her as he climaxed on top of her. He heard her scream in ecstasy as she went over the edge. Spent for the moment, he collapsed to the bed, pulling her into his arms. “I know lass that seemed a bit odd, but believe me, it made it better for you.” He murmured softly. He pulled the covers over them. “Sleep now, lass.” He told her.
Serena, feeling limp and boneless nodded. She let herself drift off, letting the tiredness take her.
Three months later
Serena sat in the large wing chair in her bedchamber looking out at the meadow below. She felt her swollen belly and smiled. After all these years of philandering with men, she was pregnant. And married to a man who seemed to adore her. He spent his nights with her, which was a strange thing for a former womanizer like Darrin the Bold to do. But he stayed with her. He apparently had not only bedded every lass he could find, he also had strange habits with his women. But, he’d shown none of that behavior with her.
With her pregnant, he asked her to stay pretty much to her suite of rooms which were considerable. He’d been ecstatic when he’d learned she was with child. He treated her like a porcelain doll. He was that concerned with her welfare. She smiled.
Samantha looked at Endora as she stood in her kitchen while Samantha was cutting up vegetables. She glared at her mother. “Now, mother, I will ask again. What did you do with Serena?”
Endora shook her head. “Now, why would you think I had anything to do with it?”
Samantha sighed. “Because I know you well enough to know that you did. At the time things were very volatile and fragile at the minimum. We were all upset and angry about the circumstances of Larry’s death. Most of all Serena. We were all angry and upset with her, and her frivolous behavior. You did something.” Samantha went on.
Endora shook her head. “Again, Samantha I cannot talk about it. I promised the Witches Council.”
Samantha glared at her. “I will find out. Mark my words, mother. Because I will.”
Endora, frustrated by her daughter’s stubborn streak, shook her head and popped out.
“Mother!” Samantha exclaimed, obviously frustrated with her mother’s refusal to tell her anything.
Samantha was setting the table when Darrin came into the dining room. She looked up and smiled at him. “Good evening, sweetheart.” She told him, smiling at him. She reached up and lightly kissed him. “How was your day?” she asked him.
Darrin returned her smile and put his arms around her. He bent down and kissed her again. “Just the usual. It’s been hard sometimes, but we’re managing.” He replied. It had been hard without Larry. “How about yours?” he asked.
Samantha sighed. “I had another fight with mother again.” She told him. “She can be one determined witch.”
Darrin nodded. “Still battling her over Serena?”
Samantha nodded. “Yes. They did something with her. And I want to know what." She explained.
Darrin nodded. “What can you do about it?” he asked her.
Samantha thought about it a moment. “I think I will go over her head.” She replied.
Darrin gave her a look. “And just who would that be?” he asked, fearing the worst.
“Daddy.” Samantha replied.
Darrin sighed. “That’s what I was sfraid of.”
Samantha smiled and nodded. “Yes. Be back in a moment, sweetheart.” Samantha said. She kissed him, then popped out.
Maurice was having a drink in his favorite bar, The Warlock Club when he saw his daughter Samantha suddenly appear before him. “Samantha! My dear, what a surprise! How are you? “ Maurice asked her.
Samantha smiled at her father. “Just fine Daddy." She told him.
Maurice nodded. “What can I do for you?” he asked.
Samantha sighed. “I need your help, Daddy. With mother. I am trying to find out what they did with Serena. And I know full well mother either is responsible or knows who is. “
Maurice frowned. “Hmmm. It’s a good bet you’re right. I haven’t seen Endora in a while, but seems to me that when Larry was killed, your mother went to the Witches Council. And talked with Serena after. But, beyond that, I don’t know anything else. Sorry my love.” Maurice replied.
Samantha nodded. She reached over and kissed her father on the cheek. “Oh, well. Thank you, Daddy.” She said.
Maurice smiled. “You’re welcome, my dear.” He replied as he watched his daughter pop out again.
Ten minutes later Samantha reappeared before Darrin in the Stephens living room. Darrin took a sip from his martini and smiled at her. “Any luck, Sam?” he asked.
Samantha sat down beside him. She shook her head. “No, he doesn’t know either. He knew that mother spoke to the Witches Council around that time, but that is all.” She leaned her head on his shoulder when he put his arm around her. She sighed. “It’s frustrating.” She murmured.
Darrin nodded. “Anyone else you could talk to?” he asked.
She shook her head. “Not that I can think of.” She replied. “I want to know. I need to know.” She said. “I miss her.”
Darrin pulled her onto his lap and held her. “I know you do  sweetheart.” He murmured softly.
Samantha put her arms around his neck and kissed him. She nodded. She put her head on his shoulder.
Darrin held her close to him. They didn’t move for the longest time.
Three months later
Serena lay on her four poster bed in their bedchamber. She was six months pregnant and feeling enormous. No matter how she laid down, she couldn’t get comfortable. She punched on her pillows again. She was only in her shift, but even so she was burning up. It was a hot summer day and with her pregnancy she was feeling the heat.
Gertie had been in earlier. She’d brought her lemonade and a light luncheon, but she wasn’t hungry. She’d urged her though to eat because of the baby. She’d managed to eat a little, but the lemonade felt good. Gertie had put her down on the changing table and rubbed her body with cool compresses. It had felt good. Because of her advanced pregnancy she stayed pretty much now to her chambers. Her husband now stayed in the trundle bed in the outer room. He wanted her to have the full width of the bed for her comfort. She missed his presence and warmth, but she’d understood. She sighed. This baby couldn’t come soon enough. She’d been thinking lately about Samantha. She’d wondered if Sammy had been this uncomfortable when she’d carried her babies. She had people around her, but she felt lonely. She wanted her family. She wanted to see Sammy. She had a thought. True, she couldn’t leave.  But she wondered if she could zap Sammy here?
She sighed. She could try it, but if she was caught? Her husband had no clue that she was a witch. She’d have to think on it. She punched her pillows again and tried to get comfortable.
Maurice stood there with Endora on Cloud 9. He was glaring at his wife. Many people thought they were divorced, but in fact they were still married. “I understand that Samantha has been talking with you. About Serena.” He told her.
Endora sighed. “Yes. She wanted to know where she was.” She explained.
Maurice nodded. “I see. Did you tell her?” he asked.
Endora shook her head. “No, I did not.” She replied.
Maurice gave her a look. “And why not?” he asked. “She has a right to know. And maybe too by now Serena would like to see Samantha. They were pretty close.” He added.
Endora took a deep breath “Perhaps you are right. I will think about it.” She agreed.
Maurice nodded. “Good.” He replied and popped out with a flash of light.
Samantha looked at her mother. “Well, are you going to tell me or not?” she demanded.
Endora took a deep breath. “I won’t tell you precisely where she is. But, if you want I will send you to her. “She gave her daughter an amulet. “I will send you there. You can use this to get back. Just yell my name and it will bring you back.” She told Samantha. “But, ahead of time, I will tell you. She is married. She’s also with child. To my knowledge her husband does not know she’s a witch. Where she is, she cannot leave until I send her back. But her powers work otherwise. If you choose to go there be aware of the dangers of using your powers.” Endora explained.
Samantha nodded. “I understand. Send me back, mother.” She replied.
Endora sighed. “Very well.” She recited her incantation and suddenly Samantha was gone.
Darrin, upon entering the room and seeing his wife disappear, glared at Endora. “What have you done with Sam?” he asked her.
Endora sighed. “She wanted to see Serena. I sent her to her.”
Darrin glared at her. “Terrific.”
Samantha looked around the room she’d just been zapped into. She looked down at her period dress that her mother must have zapped onto her. Hmmm, 13th or 14th century would be her guess. The room itself was a large bedchamber with a small sitting room and dressing area off to the side. There was a woman with long dark hair laying back against the pillows of a large four poster bed. The woman was heavily pregnant and sound asleep. She quietly tiptoed over to her. Samantha gasped. It was Serena. Tears of relief welled up in her eyes as she gazed upon her. Oh, cousin, you’re safe, she thought. She gently sat down on the side of the bed and contentedly watched her as she slept.
Serena came awake slowly and noticed the blonde haired woman sitting on the bed beside her. She was just sitting there quietly gazing down at her. At first Serena didn’t recognize her because of her period dress. She refocused and sat partially upright in surprise, or at least as much as her ungainly pregnant body would allow. “Sammy!” She exclaimed. “Oh, Sammy!”
Samantha nodded and leaned forward and gently hugged her cousin. “Yes, it’s me, Serena. Look at you.” She murmured. Her eyes misted. “It’s good to see you.” Samantha eased her back against the pillows. “Lay back again. There are only so many comfortable positions when you are that pregnant.” She told her. She lightly patted her cousin’s swollen abdomen.
Serena nodded. “Tell me about it, cous. I can never get comfortable these days. It’s why I spend most of my time here in these rooms. My husband is terrified that something will happen to me or the baby.” Serena replied.
Samantha nodded. “I know all about it. I went through it twice, remember? There are no comfortable positions, cous. How far along are you?” Samantha asked.
Serena looked at Samantha. She could hardly believe that she was here. “ Around seven months now.” Serena replied. “How did you get here?” She asked her finally.
Samantha smiled. “Mother sent me. I kept hounding her until she sent me where you were. She wouldn’t tell me where exactly or when. I have an amulet to get back.” Samantha replied.
Serena nodded. “I am surprised she did that.” She responded.
Samantha sighed. “I don’t think she would have except I went to Daddy. He leaned on her I believe.” Samantha answered. She grinned. “So you married a man. Any particular one?” she asked slyly.
Serena nodded. “A mortal. I think that he’s your Darrin’s ancestor.” She replied, laughing.
Samantha stared at her. “Nooooo! Him? The red haired bushy bearded one? Darrin the Bold?” Samantha asked her, grinning broadly.
Serena smirked. “Yup. Him.” She told Samantha. “Oh, Sammy, he’s just --- he’s been so good to me.” She told her cousin. “Up until recently he’s stayed here with me every night. Even now, he sleeps nearby in the outer room. He’s only doing that because of the baby. He’s afraid of hurting the baby and wanting me to have the full width of the bed too. This is a man who bedded every lass he saw. I think he loves me,” she confessed.
Samantha smiled at her cousin. “Wow. Yes, I had a taste of how he chased after skirts first hand. You seem content and happy.” She told her.
Serena nodded, her eyes misting suddenly. “I am. Coming here after what happened to Larry  -- has helped me so much. I felt so awful about everything.” She replied.
Samantha nodded. “I know. Larry was messed up and depressed, Serena. That wasn’t all your fault. You tried to comfort him, but it ended badly.
Serena nodded. “I know. I liked Larry, maybe too much.” She told her. “But yes I am happy. I love him.” She whispered.
Samantha sighed. “Yes, I thought that. I can see it in your eyes when you talk about him.” She sighed. “I need to get back, but I want to come back. I will be back.” She told her cousin.
Serena nodded. “It’s been good seeing you Sammy. Yes, please if you can. I’ve told them nothing about us. I haven’t used my powers here.”
Samantha nodded. “Probably wise.” She advised. She held up the amulet. “I’ll be back, cous.” She promised. In a flash Samantha disappeared.
Serena sighed wistfully as she watched her cousin disappear. She missed her family, out of whack though they were. She put a hand on her pregnant belly. This baby was her family now; that and her husband. She smiled.
Darrin the Bold stood there for the longest time watching the blonde haired woman talk to his wife. Not wanting to intrude, he’d stayed hidden. But the blonde, she was the same girl as before. She’d shown up just after he’d been with Serena the first time. Just now though, he’d seen her disappear. She was sitting there speaking with Serena and then she held up a shiny piece of metal and then just vanished out of thin air. He remembered she had done that before too. He was chasing after her and then she was gone. Hmmm. He approached Serena. He wanted an explanation. And now.
Serena smiled at the sight of her husband coming toward her on the bed. “Milord, this is the first time I have seen you today.” She murmured.
Darrin the Bold nodded. “Well, you have been sleeping, lass. I’ve not been wanting to disturb you. Who was your friend just now?” He asked.
Serena sighed. So he did see Samantha then. Not good, she thought. “That was my cousin, Samantha.” She replied.
Darrin the Bold nodded. “Cousin, eh? Well, that explains a few things.” He said.
Serena looked up at him. “Oh, why is that?”
“Because she’s the same girl who was here before when I saw you the first time. She looked the same as you, except for the blonde hair.”
Serena nodded. “We are pretty much identical except for the hair. That is true.” She agreed.
He nodded. “The first time she was here, she disappeared into thin air right before my eyes. And I saw her do the same just now. I want to be knowing how she did that,” he told her.
Serena groaned. She sighed. How was she going to explain this. “Well, it’s complicated. “ she began.
Darrin the Bold stared at his wife. “Try me.”
Serena swallowed hard.
Darrin looked at Samantha as she suddenly reappeared before him in their living room. He glared at her. “Well?” He demanded.
Samantha smiled sweetly at him. “Well, what sweetheart?” she asked innocently.
Darrin stared her down. “Do you mind telling me where you’ve been?” he asked her.
She sighed. “Mother sent me to where Serena is.” She replied.
Darrin nodded. “And where is that exactly?”
Samantha shook her head. “I don’t know exactly. Sometime in the past. Mother zapped me there. I used an amulet she gave me to return.” She explained.
Darrin folded his arms and looked at her. “What do you mean in the past?”
Samantha sighed. “Well just that. She’s married first of all. And heavily pregnant, about seven months. Mother zapped her back around the time of Larry’s death.”
Darrin nodded. “Right. Married and pregnant. Does she care about the guy she’s married to? Who is he?”
Samantha swallowed hard. “Yes, I would say so. She seems very content. The husband is actually your ancestor, Darrin the Bold. He’s in Ireland. He’s tall with a heavy beard and long auburn hair.” She replied.
Darrin grinned. “My ancestor, eh? Well, that’s a bit of irony.” He said. “Does he care for her?”
Samantha nodded. “He seems to. He basically bedded every lass he ever saw. But now he spends his nights with Serena. He won’t let her do anything hardly. He’s terrified she’ll either be hurt or lose the baby.” Samantha replied.
Darrin shook his head and pulled Samantha against him. He bent down and kissed her. “Sounds like he’s smitten all right. Does he know that she’s a witch?”
Samantha shook her head. “No, and it’s worrying her.” She confessed.
Darrin kissed Samantha again. He nodded. “She’d have good reason to worry.”
Samantha nestled closer to Darrin. “I know.”
Serena looked at her husband and looked down at the covers, avoiding him.
Darrin the Bold lifted her chin. “ I be waiting lass. How did she do that?”
Serena sighed and took a deep breath. “My cousin and I can do things that most people cannot. Our whole family is like that. I was sent to you here, so right now I can’t disappear the way my cousin did. But basically Samantha can move from one place to another. When she does that, you see her disappear.” Serena replied.
Darrin the Bold nodded. “All right. You can do special things? Like disappear?” He asked.
Serena smiled. “Yes. I don’t know how to tell you. I was sent back to you by my aunt. She is Samantha’s mother. Because of that I cannot go back. I can do other things though milord.” Serena swallowed hard. Oh but this was a risk.
Darrin the Bold looked at her intently. “Like what lass?”
She took a deep breath and pointed her fingers toward him. Instantly a tankard of Ale is in his hand. “Like that milord.” She replied.
Darrin the Bold looked down at the tankard with surprise. He gazed at his wife. “You did that?”
She nodded at him. “Yes,” she replied nervously. She waves her hand again and the tankard disappeared.
Darrin the Bold swore under his breath. He put a hand on her cheek, staring into her green eyes. “Lass, you be like a sorceress?”
Serena nodded. “Something like that, yes. I am not bad, I promise. I would never deliberately hurt anyone. Samantha would not either. Neither would any of my family.” She added.
Darrin the Bold nodded. “Ye best not be doing any of that around anyone here, lass. Could get ye in a bit of trouble, aye?”
Serena nodded, clearly relieved by how he was taking this. “No, milord. Never.” She vowed.
He nodded. “I want to know more about why you were sent here. Tell me about it, if ye will lass.”
She smiled and nodded. “I was involved in something that was very upsetting to me. In my life milord, I’ve been a lot like you.” She began.
He grinned. “You be like me how, exactly?”
She giggled. “How you were bedding every lass you saw.” She explained. “I was like that, with men. I think I was lonely and just unhappy so I acted like that. But I got into something that upset me, and caused trouble with my family. There was a man, that I really cared about, but he was married. I never went after anyone married usually,” she faltered, knowing that she’d slept with him before.
Darrin the Bold laughed. “I was married at that time, lass.” He told her.
Serena blushed. “I know. I broke my own rule with you. It must tell you how I felt about you, even then.” She smiled, seeing his sudden look of pride. “Anyway, I cared about him, but he was married. He was also Samantha’s husband’s boss. So he was really off limits to me. Well, his wife left him for another man. It made him very upset and hurt. He liked to drink and ---" she explained.
Darrin the Bold stroked her cheek gently. “You slept with him while you were both drunk. And the next morning you both be regretting it.” He finished for her.
Serena felt her cheeks dampen from the tears welling in her eyes. “Yes. Very much so. He felt guilty and was sorry it happened. I only wanted to comfort him, but he regretted it. He took off and the car he was in slid on an icy road and he died.” She replied, crying quietly. “I felt like I was to blame. My family was angry and upset with me about it. I was a mess. My habit of sleeping with men had come back at me and a man was dead.” She told him, her tears falling unchecked. She’d liked Larry.
He shifted his position and put his arms around her from behind and pulled her against his chest, offering comfort. “Shhh, lass, it be all right.” He murmured softly, rocking her against him. “It be all right.”
She nodded and pushed back against him. Oh, but she loved this man. “My aunt must have sensed that I was hurting because she suggested that she send me here, to you. She’d told me about you losing your wives and your infants in your marriages. She suggested that sending me back to you would help me and you.” She whispered.
Darrin the Bold smiled and gently squeezed her. “I be thinking she was right lass. And what is a car?” He asked her.
Serena chuckled. “In your world, it doesn’t exist yet. But it’s like a motorized carriage.”
Darrin the Bold grinned. “I see. You are not from here exactly are you lass?”
Serena nodded. “It may be hard for you to believe, but I am from the future milord. About six hundred years.” She told him.
Darrin the Bold nodded. “Somehow I don’t know why, but I be believing you lass.” He said finally. “Are you sorry you came lass?” he asked her.
Serena turned in his arms, facing him, in spite of her swollen belly. She put her arms around his neck and kissed him. She smiled and shook her head. “Never, milord. I liked you the first time I came. My aunt sent me here the first time too.” She breathed. “And she sent me the second time.” She replied.
Darrin the Bold smiled. He bent down and kissed her again. “And how you be feeling this time lass?” He asked her.
Serena grinned. “I love you, milord.”
Darrin the Bold felt his own eyes misting. He nodded. “Good, because I love you too lass, and I’d not be letting you go anytime soon. You or our babe. I bedded every lass I saw, true enough. But I find myself besotted by you lass. I only want to be in your bed. No other lass interests me. You’ve bewitched me, lass.” He confessed.
Serena smiled. “Good milord, because I am not letting you go either. I think I would be very fierce with any lass who tried to steal you away.” She replied.
Darrin the Bold grinned. “No worries, lass. No worries. Will we ever see your cousin again?” He asked.
Serena nodded. “It’s a very good chance of that milord. A very good chance.” She replied, kissing him again. She smiled.
Serena bent over in pain as Gertie helped her walk about the room as another contraction hit her. Her labor pains had started an hour ago. Gertie had acted quickly, getting her Mistress out of her clothing and just into her linen shift. She’d arranged the pillows on the changing table, which had been turned into a birthing chair. But she’d made her walk some of the time. She’d told her it would assist in getting the babe to come quicker. Serena nodded, but she was scared. Her husband had been in, and was frantic in his concern for her welfare, and that of her child. He’d remained in the outer room and refused to leave. Serena sighed. She wanted Sammy. She looked at Gertie as she helped her back onto the table to rest for a time. Her pains were still far apart about thirty minutes. “Gertie, please bring milord to me for a moment. I need to speak with him.” She told her.
Gertie gave her a puzzled look, but nodded. “Very well, Mistress.”
Darrin the Bold looked upon his wife with concern. “You asked to speak with me, lass? How are you doing, lass?” he asked her, gently kissing her brow.
Serena made a face at him. “Like I am having your baby, milord.” She replied. She looked at him. “I need to bring my cousin here. I need her.” She explained.
Darrin the Bold stared at her. “You are able to do that?”
Serena nodded. “Yes, I think so. But I wanted to tell you first. Also, I need Gertie and the other women gone. Given how I am about to do this, I don’t ---"
“You don’t want them hearing or seeing you try this.” He finished for her.
She smiled and nodded. “Yes.”
Darrin the Bold grinned at her. “No worries, it shall be done.”
Ten minutes later, Serena was alone in the chamber except for her husband. He’d insisted on staying, saying that he wanted to greet this Samantha himself. She looked at him and nodded nervously. “Here goes.” She told him. She smiled when he held her hand. Taking a deep breath, she recited an incantation that would summon her cousin to her. She grinned when Samantha suddenly appeared before her.
Samantha looked at Serena and Darrin the Bold. Oh, boy. She’d just been summoned. She smiled. She reached out and gently put her arms around Serena. She hugged her. She pulled back and smiled at them both. “Did you summon me here?” she asked her. Samantha was still in her jeans and sweatshirt.
Serena nodded after her contraction had passed. “Yes, I need you with me, Sammy. Please.” She replied. She looked at Sammy’s clothes. “Ooh, that won’t do.” She zapped her cousin into period clothing.
Samantha nodded and took a deep breath. She looked at Darrin the Bold. He looked as he did before when she’d seen him. He looked like a rascal who’d been reformed. He only had eyes for his wife. She pointed to him. “Is this safe to be…?” Samantha asked her cousin.
Serena nodded. “He knows about us, yes, Sammy. He insisted on being here when I tried to bring you here.” She explained.
Samantha nodded. “Very well. How will you explain me to everyone?”
Darrin the Bold looked at her. She was something, he thought. But for her blonde hair, she was identical to his wife. He smiled at her. “We just tell them that you are my wife’s cousin from a neighboring village, nothing more. My wife wanted to bring you here. Welcome lass.” He told her.
Samantha smiled in return. Oh, he really is smitten with my cousin, she thought. It was funny. Her cousin married to Darrin the Bold, who was her Darrin’s ancestor. Too ironic. “Thank you. And yes, I would like to be here with her.” She replied. “How close are your pains, cous?” she asked her.
Serena took a deep breath as Samantha automatically started to wipe the sweat off Serena’s brow. “Every twenty minutes.” She replied as she watched her husband depart the room. Oh, but he’d been so good to her.
Samantha nodded. Samantha had some medical training over her years of life and she started to implement that experience. “All right. A while yet. Come on, you need to walk a bit. Let’s go.” She told her, helping her cousin to her feet.
Darrin looked at Endora quizzically. All three of them had been talking, Sam, Endora and himself when suddenly Sam disappeared. “What happened? What did you do with Sam?” he accused her.
Endora gave him a stern look. “Nothing. I didn’t do anything to her. It looks like she was zapped out of here.” She replied. “But not by me.” She added. She made a sign. “Witches honor.”
He nodded. “Any idea as to who did it?” He asked her.
Endora shook her head. “No, but given the length of time, I can guess.” She returned.
Darrin nodded. “Serena.”
Endora sighed and nodded.
Darrin rolled his eyes. “Hmmm. Well, can you chase after her?”
Endora gave him a look. She sighed. “I’ll see what I can do.” She zapped out of the room.
Samantha smiled at her cousin as she watched her nurse her son who was nestled happily in her arms. She lay back against the pillows looking tired, but contented. Her husband, Darrin the Bold had his arm around her and was clearly adoring both. Serena’s labor actually hadn’t been long. She was a healthy female witch with wide hips. All of that helped. Her son was a lusty infant and was healthy. Samantha chuckled at the wee bit of auburn hair on his head. No doubt about who the father was, Samantha thought. “He looks so content doing that,” she murmured as Serena shifted him to her other breast.
Serena beamed and nodded. She bent down and kissed his head. She sighed. She had a son. “I know. Oh, Sammy, is this how you felt each time you had your babies?”
Samantha nodded. “Pretty much. There’s no describing the feeling really.” Samantha agreed. She looked at Serena. “Right now cous, you need to rest.” She took the boy and laid him in his cradle sitting right beside Serena. She eased her cousin back against the pillows.
Darrin the Bold stood up and nodded, looking intently at his wife. “Your cousin is right. Sleep and get some rest lass.”
Serena nodded and yawned. “Yes, Sammy. You will come back?”
Samantha nodded and zapped herself back to her husband.
Darrin the Bold looked at his wife and shook his head. “Even if I tried to someone all this, they’d never believe me. Get some sleep lass.” He bent down and kissed her. He smiled. “Oh, but I am smitten with you lass.” He murmured softly.
She nodded. “The feeling is mutual milord.” She replied happily. She sighed. For a woman whose life had been so empty, it now just overflowed with happiness. She smiled.
Darrin sighed with relief when he saw Samantha pop back into their living room. He came over and hugged her tight. “Thank God you’re back. I was getting worried.” He muttered.
Samantha nodded and hugged him back. She sighed. He looked so much like Serena’s Darrin the Bold. “Yes. I was summoned back by Serena this time. I was stunned by it at first. Especially when Darrin the Bold was sitting there with her.” She replied.
Darrin looked shocked. “You mean he knows? About her? About us?”
Samantha smiled and reached up and kissed him. She put her arms around his neck. She nodded. “Yes. He knows. He’s behind her all the way. He is absolutely smitten with my cousin. She’s had her baby, a healthy baby boy. They’re ecstatic about it.” Samantha told him.
Darrin smiled and kissed her again. “Good. That makes two happy witches married to a mortal, then.” He answered.
Samantha nodded and giggled. Yes indeed, she thought. Way to go, cous, she thought. She smiled.
Darrin the Bold was gazing fondly at his sleeping wife and child when an older woman suddenly appeared in the bedchamber. What the? He gave her a forbidding look. “And who you be?” He asked her.
Endora sighed. So this is Derwood the Bold  -- he looked so much like Derwood. She shook her head. She stared him down. “I am Serena’s aunt. My name is Endora. I came to check on her. My daughter Samantha told me she’s had her baby.” She replied, looking fondly at a sleeping Serena. Her son lay in a cradle beside her, sound asleep.
Darrin the Bold nodded and smiled. “So you be the one who sent Serena to me, on two occasions I was told.” He said.
Endora nodded. “Yes. That is correct. The first time it had to do with Samantha’s husband. The second time was to get Serena away from an upsetting moment in her life.” She replied.
Darrin the Bold nodded. He grinned. “Then I be thanking you, Endora. For my wife. My son. And the love of my life. That girl is everything to me. I chased everything in skirts. She has reformed me.” He told her.
Endora smiled. “You’re welcome, my Lord. I take it you know about us. About Serena and her family,” she began.
Darrin the Bold nodded. “Aye, I know. Not that anyone would believe me. But yes, I know.” He replied.
Endora nodded. “You let her know that we will be back. Take care of her, my Lord.”
He smiled at Endora. “Aye.” He replied, sitting down on the bed to watch over his wife and son. “Aye.”
Endora smiled and popped out.

Annika, rolling her eyes in disgust,: "Please sir, if you are not serious, I can and will release this call.”

Annika: “Thank you for calling the Liberty NYC Hotel, my name is Annika. How can I help you?”
Caller: “I have a gentleman I am looking after who wants to book a room with you. He uses a voice throat device because of voice box issues. I just wanted to let you know that before I bring him on.”
Annika, hesitating: “All right, how can I help today?”
Caller 2 with Cylon type voice gives Annika the dates & they agree on a room & price & start booking the room …
During the call Annika can hear caretaker moving the gentleman along a corridor in a wheelchair. While booking the room Annika can hear the sounds while caretaker helps the gentleman in a washroom.
Annika is mortified as she wraps up the call. Annika: “Anything else?”
******
Sardinia: “Thank you for Calling DC Washington Estates, my name is Sardinia. How can I be of assistance?”
Caller: “My name is Joan W. I want to book a room please.”
Sardinia: “Let me see what I have for those dates. Is there any particular room type you require?”
Caller: “Well actually I am looking for something you know very laid back, maybe a little sultry. You know, someplace to relax and maybe have a friend in. How about you? You sound like you have an interesting voice. Maybe you could come down and play with me. When are you off?”
Sardinia: “Uhh. Well ya but you see my employers … well they … uhhh … um … uhhhh—,”
Joan W throws out more lewd and suggestive comments and proceeds to book a room, but before call is complete, she announces to Sardinia that actually this call is on a nationwide talk radio and is going live and is being recorded …
Sardinia … afterward … is like .. duh ….

Annika: “Good Morning. London Big Ben Hotel. This is Annika.”
Caller, sounding tipsy: “Yes. I’d like a room please. For early check in. To come in now.”
Annika: “I am sorry sir, but we are sold out for the day. I have no availability. Let me check our sister hotel, The London Tower. No. I am afraid I have no rooms there either. Are there any other dates?”
Caller, sounding desperate: “Oh come on, you’ve got to have a room. I practically live at your bar.”
Annika, getting exasperated: “Sorry, I have no availability.”
Caller:“ But, I will take anything. Please. She threw me out she did. Bag and baggage. She left me for another woman!”
Annika: “Sorry. I have no rooms.”
Caller: “But, I am on the street here with me suitcases. I am wet from the rain pouring down. You’ve got to have a room!”
Annika, rolling her eyes. :“Sorry all full. Sorry. Anything else?”
****
Rhianda: “Thank you for calling XYZ Hotels & Resorts. My name is Rhianda. How can I help you today?”

Rhianda: “I’m sorry but I have no availability for today. I’m sold out.”
Caller: “Well I need a room. You have no availability?”
Rhianda: “That’s right.”
Caller: “Well, do you have any suites? I’ll pay extra.”
Rhianda rolls her eyes… like some people’s children.
