It was a beautiful night;

not a single cloud in sight and the skyline of Seoul sparkled like it was made out of diamonds.

“at least the setting is somewhat romantic” Yoongi said, with a deep sigh.

He was nervous…extremely nervous to be exact. He originally wanted to “pop the question” in around a month or so, because according to Seokjin “The Proposal is a memory a woman will never forget, good or bad it will stick with her forever which means; there’s a lot of planning to do" so doing all of this last minute is obviously very nerve wrecking to someone who literally has no idea about this stuff.

“Seokjin Hyunnnng answer my messages i need your help!” The young man let out a big frustrated sigh as he desperately stared at his phone

“okay you know what? you can do this Min Yoongi…it’s just Y/N, she will love you no matter what you say or how you do it! so stop acting crazy dude….it will be alright, just- say it from the heart…easy- ” he cursed under his breath not noticing you were already standing right behind him, listening to everything he just said.

“You’re right. No matter what you do or what you say…you won’t be able to get rid of me” you chuckled, tightly wrapping your arms around your boyfriends waist.

“H-How much did you hear…?”you noticed the light blush on his cheeks, making you laugh softly.

“just got here..so not that much” you lied before he turned around to give you a little kiss on the forehead.

“look I’m sorry about before.."you began apologizing but he quickly cut you off.

"don’t worry about it…i’m not upset" Yoongi placed his two fingers underneath your chin, moving it up so you’d lock eyes with him “really…it’s okay” he assured you once more.

You guys stared at each other lovingly for a good few minutes before you heard him clear his throat.

"well uh…I’m sorry…this is definitely not going according to plan..” he chuckled awkwardly “but i mean…this place holds a lot of special memories so i guess it might be a good spot to ask after all..”

Your already felt you eyes starting to water as you listened to him, knowing too well what he’s about to do. He took your hand in his and started caressing it gently with his thumb before going on one knee.

“I’m not good with words and like i said, this is completely not planned so please bear with me—

Y/n, you’ve been by my side for little over 3 Years now….i still can’t believe it but trust me, those years were the best years of my life. I know we had a rough start but god I’m so glad you spilled that drink on my shirt” both of you couldn’t contain your little chuckles at the thought of your first meeting.

“I never thought i’d be so lucky to not only (hopefully) marry the love of my life, my soulmate…..but also my best friend. I’m not sure if i even deserve this but i’m so glad i got the chance.”

You both began sniffling a little, still trying to keep it cool but before anything could get too emotional, Yoongi quickly pulled out the little box out of his pocket and opened it right in front of you.

You let out a gasp and your eyes widened at the sight of what might have been the most beautiful ring you’ve ever seen.

“oh….before i put this on- i should probably ask, if you even want to marry me” you both began to laugh at this stupid yet still kinda necessary question, but you quickly shook your head “yes” and from then on couldn’t control the hot tears that were now running down your cold cheeks anymore. The both of you were a complete sobbing mess but you didn’t care, not even one bit; because those were happy tears…

the result of unconditional love.
