I think the reason I enjoy Ghibli so much is it romanticizes the little things. It makes me want to bake, study, clean the house, garden, and more while listening to happy music and occasionally picking wildflowers and lying in the grass. It helps me find joy in day-to-day life and that’s honestly sooo important for my mental health.

Whisk the egg and set aside. In a small pot, stir together broth, cornstarch, and ginger BEFORE TURNING ON THE HEAT! Make sure they are thoroughly combined. It will look cloudy, but that’s okay.

Every month, the whole community says they’re gonna make big changes, this is gonna be their month, this is the month they make significant progress. Every month we all buy into this. Well, tomorrow is the last day of September, so pretty soon we’re all gonna be on here saying how October is the month we finally get our shit together. Imagine how proud you’ll be at the end of October if you’re one of the ones who actually met their goals for the month, imagine telling everyone who failed that you didn’t, that you’re better and stronger and thinner than them. It’s so simple. Just follow through this time, and you’ll get there. One month is so short, I’m sure that you can work for just one month. So right here, right now, let’s agree that we all actually make October our bitch, and that we finally buckle down and do the work to meet our goals.
