Madoka Magical Girl and Witch Creation Guide and Analysis

So I’m finally creating this guide that I promised my friends a year ago at the Part 1 & 2 showing of madoka. 

This is a guide to creating your own magical girl character for yourself or a fan character, as well as their accompanying familiars, and barrier. It also goes into a lot of character analysis.  

This guide will have NO REBELLION SPOILERS. I am specifically going to stay away from anything involving that movie.

I’ve really liked the Madoka Magica series ever since it first aired, so it’s kind of a given that I’m liking Magia Record a lot so far. (…I’m not a fan of every aspect of the game, but the parts that I like, I like a lot.)

And since the witches and their art design are one of my favorite things about the series, I’ve translated the in-game encyclopedia entries for them! Here they are:

Caregiver Mami tomoe hcs•

(Slight warning for mentions of witches‼️)

- LOVES to have tea parties with you! But won't mind if you want something other than tea (soda, juice, etc)

- Constantly has her eyes on you to make sure you're safe

- Also loves going on walks with you! She thinks it's good to go out every so often

- Whenever she's busy (most likely hunting witches) than she'll have Madoka or Sayaka watch you for the time being

- She also likes to show off to you, such as showing you some safer things she can do with her powers. but will absolutely not let you come with her to hunt witches

- (if you have hair) She'd love to brush it! She's very gentle with it, and if you want she'll put little clips on the hair!

- She has simple boardgames that she'd love to play with you! She somehow always looses..

- Always knows what you need! If you're a non-verbal little that's a-okay! She can tell what you need by just seeing you

- LOVES cuddling you (if you're okay with physical affection) it makes her feel like she's protecting you

Magica Goddesses – How it all began?

Once, there was a world full of despair. Dancing Witches of dying Magical Girls were beautiful in their wails. Their wishes granded, but got them broken and wilted like unloved flower bouquets.

Then there was born The One and She came with Others. Magnificent in Their glory, They also died. And were born again to die and die and die again. The seeds of Their desire keeping Them awake. Love so cruel, not letting Them rest. Their hearts aching ever so slightly in unfamiliar longing fest.

It went like this, like an abuse, when finally there was a Beam. It changed everything, but also not a thing. Other world was created, leaving other to rot in their misery. But this world was special. Born to be kept despite imperfection. This world wasn't so different than the others before. But because of Them it was so much better.

Hunger was still there, but the hearts were full with Her — sharp one and gentle. With touch would set all on fire for others and Them.

Hearts would still cry, but warmth was there thanks to Her — like a music flowing through rivers and veins. Her voice calming in pain.

Mind numb, but working with a smile because of Her — sweet and full of self. She keeps secrets and lets you think for yourself.

Body ached with lack of touch, but still trying to go with Her — time Herself tangled with desire. Her delicate hands holding you close to embrace.

Pain everlasting made by want of helping, by want of Her — sacrifice Herself and Angel of Them. With Her no Witches were ever made. With here there was Faith in the air.
