NEW EVENT TIME!
I can't post much yet since the game keeps crashing on my current emulator but soon, very soon.

I almost forgot the other two invitations, mostly because I totally missed out on this event, but I can't not include how gorgeous these are too.

Okay, I hate how inactive I've been but... obey me and twisted wonderland literally own my ass right now. I have card stories lined up to post but I missed the new artem card so that's lovely. MR cards are literally impossible for free to play or partially paid players to get it's ridiculous.

Wow, I wonder what the answer could be. Like, this is so difficult I'm having a really hard time.
Ah yes, fairies, the key ingredient of every biscuit.

Oh no, our Marius, he's broken.
He did say to quit it or I'd mess up his hair but I didn't know I'd glitch his fucking bangs.

SSR Card: 「Perfect Partner」
A tragic tale of missed opportunities and lost time. One would think digging into the past of a pair of yearning would-be lovers might be enough of a warning for this poetic detective.
The story is interesting for this card but let me tell you a bit about the poetry referenced throughout.
The poem first mentioned is 'Every Day You Play' by Pablo Neruda.
It's a beautiful piece of writing about deep and incredible love, the poet speaking of and to the listener with such devotion it's clear he holds them above all else.
This sort of affection is intimate, each metaphor and description tethered to nature, the sky and stars, as he near worships every aspect of the listener wholly.
"I go so far as to think that you own the universe.
I will bring you happy flowers from the mountains, bluebells, dark hazels, and rustic baskets of kisses.
I want to do with you what spring does with the cherry trees."
It's such a romantic poem, one of my favourites.
The second poem Luke begins reciting by Neruda is 'Here I Love You'.
The themes found here are strikingly different to the first poem, speaking of distance and longing and the fear of losing someone you treasure.
Like the ocean and the moon, a tale of something never truly meant to be.
His beloved is out of reach, his every day blending into the next so long as they remain separated.
"My life grows tired, hungry to no purpose.
I love what I do not have. You are so far.
My loathing wrestles with the slow twilights.
But night comes and starts to sing to me."
The contrasting subject matter of both poems seems to perfectly capture how Luke feels deep down. He adores Rosa with all his heart but he loaths the missed years, his short life, the lack of a real future even if he confessed. It's so sad and perfectly captured with just two pieces of writing.

Okay, I gotta get this out of my system because this one card has me spiralling.
It's not the situation or the main plot of this card that stuck with me, no, it's this moment. This very moment when it feels like Vyn is staring right into your soul and gives the illusion that he's speaking to you. The player.
Rosa is unaware, catching a glimpse of an expression aimed not at her but at us. Self satisfaction. Like a fox in a hen house. He repeats a question from before 'Did I scare you?' as he grins at the camera. That question alone paired with the timing struck me, made me anxious even, and I couldn't help but feel like he could see me. The player. Knew I was watching this unfold, unafraid to drop his mask because I would see his true colours in the next chapter.
Am I the only one? It feels so fucking uncanny and I don't know what to do with all these thoughts. This game is living in my head and won't leave.
