There is nothing more ignorant than people who think the animal agriculture industry is the problem and that somehow making it “more humane” will solve the issue
The current factory farming and agriculture industry is as humane as it can possibly be.
Do y’all not realize that with all the animals going through slaughterhouses, there is no way to ensure that every single one is killed ethically and painlessly? There are thousands of cows on kill floors in the US every hour. How is a single worker supposed to ensure that the stun bolt ends up in the right place every time? There are billions of chickens laying eggs in warehouses every day. Is it realistic to think that we can provide fresh air, fresh food, fresh water, and free roaming land for billions of chickens every day?
There are billions of animals being eaten every year. There is no room, time, or resources to give them all happy lives and painless deaths. Without factory farms, there is literally just not enough land to continue eating meat. The only way to make the industry humane is to tear it down.
