I'm starting to believe that if you want to be a true political radical and you want to be an ethical human being, your willingness to dismantle institutions must be indirectly proportional to your willingness to put human lives at risk.

The more radical your politics, the more dangerous your proposals are. Which doesn't have to be inherently bad as long as you uphold the value of human life with all the zeal with which you demand radical change.

Yes, that means you must be more averse to violence than your less radical peers.

Otherwise, you're just justifying, paving the road for, or committing mass violence.
