MERRY CHRISTMAS/HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEREK HALE!!!!

I know Derek’s birthday is also November 7th but I saved it until now as I liked the idea of this concept;

Due to being the sheriff’s son, Stiles knows information on everybody, including Derek. So, when the pack are over at his loft celebrating the holidays, Stiles is the only person who knows it’s his birthday and that he wouldn’t want a scene made out of it. And so, in private, gives him a birthday surprise to make him feel seen <3

[I wanted to do something valuable or meaningful for the gift but literally could not come up with any ideas and so just did a regular gift box.. If anybody has any good gift suggestions Stiles would get Derek let me know and I’ll add whatever’s my favourite to the drawing in future reference!!]

TW: Dead Animal!

Redrew the scene off the movie "Wolf Children" with my boys!

Instead of Stiles being pregnant like the movie reference he's sick, and Derek's wolf's instincts kick in and so brings him prey to make him feel better!!

However, Stiles is a little disturbed by this..

Headcanon / Derek Hale

After the fire, Derek had a strong distaste towards meat. The smell of it burning triggered him as it reminded him of the smell of his dying family.

Whenever Scott, Stiles or any of his friends would invite him to summer barbecues, it would send him into panic attacks due to his PTSD.

As he portrays himself to be strong and noble, Derek struggles to tell anyone about his issues, preventing him from ever facing his fears.

Oblivious to what's going on, his friends just assume he's being a bad friend who never makes an effort, making it even harder on him.

Derek never flaked, he just couldn't bring himself to confront his unresolved trauma.

Little did they know, he turned up every single time...

Sorry this is so depressing, I did this a few months back. 😩

It's heavily inspired by (I think..) a tumblr post I saw early 2015?? But instead it was about Peter.. I felt bad recreating someone else's idea so I did Derek instead! I tried to search this up but couldn't find anything? So I can't credit :(
