little things in Heartstopper that I think about a lot (part one):

Mr. Ajayi noticing Charlie’s hesitation when talking about Ben, so he puts his pen down and stops what he’s doing to let Charlie know he has his full attention

Charlie’s little giggle after Nick showed him how to play rugby

the little smile on Nicks face after seeing “x” at the end of Charlie’s thank you text to him

“You look… it looks great!”

Nick not being able to look at Charlie after he hugged him for the first time so he just turned around, said “see ya Monday,” and left

Just thinking about how precious Charlie Spring, who was outed, went through hell and back because of bullying for being gay, and then went through everything with b*n fucking h*pe, was still the one who initiated most of the major milestones in nick and charlie's relationship. Like, he was the one who initiated their first kiss, he was the one who dropped the boyfriend question first, he was the one who said I love you first. Charlie spring, I love you very very much.

It really is about the ‘golden retriever jock with a heart of gold’ boyfriend and the ‘creative dark-haired sometimes-smartass-but-actually-cares-lot’ boyfriend isn’t it

As an INFJ I understand so many things even if I haven't experienced them myself, and that's why many people like us. But I also realise that there's a limit to how truly I can understand something I haven't experienced, even if others believe that I totally get it like they do from experiencing it. No one can, I think.

But still, I'm glad I can understand almost everything even if they are two sides - some types don't always understand other people's experiences.

That's what I've been thinking after watching MBTI Inside. Such a good documentary/entertainment series.

The types as things my pet birds have done in the last week 🐦

Esfj - calls out to the other bird to make sure she's okay when he can't see her.

Isfj - comes to the other bird when he calls, cos he can't fly as well.

Esfp - wouldn't come near me until I started training her with a seed stick.

Isfp - his from me in her coconut house and eyed me with glee.

Estj - danced on my led keyboard and chirped happily cos of the sound.

Istj - flew back into his cage.

Estp - wanted to sit on the edge of a lit candle. Was upset I wouldn't let him.

Istp - continually sat on the other cage and let their tail get attacked. Complained but didn't move, just waited for me to fix it. Bit me when I helped and then went straight back.

Enfj - sat on the other bird's head.

Infj - yelled at her entj bird friend until he cuddled up to her. Put her foot on his chest to really drive the point home.

Enfp - tries to fly higher than he can and crashes into the wall. Continually.

Infp - kept squeezing into the other cage where there's a bird who could literally attack her.

Entj - crashed into my treadmill, landed on the floor, turned to yell at me about it. When I told him I didn't hurt him, he FLEW INTO A TREADMILL, he stared mournfully at the floor in shame.

Bonus entj: flew into the other bird's cage while it was out being crazy. That cage was bigger, so he puffed himself up and fell asleep. He literally claimed the cage. And it worked.

Intj - hissed at me to go away and then brightened up when I did and looked at me like - why are you leaving? I want to play, how did you not get that?

Entp - attempted to steal the other bird's seed stick from the top of the cage by pulling up on the handle and twisting their head.

Intp - sat and watched Harry Potter with me.

While many praised the project for its normalization of these topics, some parents who watched the film felt that its themes were “too mature” for their children…

Director Domee Shi said she hopes the movie “starts those conversations and that we can eventually just normalize talking about puberty and menstruation and not feel so weird about it.”

bear with me because i only know this in makeup terms. But green color corrector/concealer is known for hiding red spots and acne right? So isn’t it fascinating that Ming started off with no green:

but as she grew up, she started to wear green more:

Until she becomes an adult, wearing all green, even her makeup:

Since she was Meilin’s age, she’s been learning how to hide her red. All the emotions and thoughts and actions that make her ‘imperfect’.
