For several years now, "The Song of Achilles" by Madeline Miller has been one of my favorite books. I've read it four times, have a sticky note marking almost every page, and since I first read it I've wanted to make illustrations for it. As a side project, that's what I'm going to do. So, here's a mock book cover to kick it off!

Illustration #2 for "The Song of Achilles." Just a small spot illustration to go in the inside title page. Two contrasting objects important to the story. If you've read it, you'll know.
