After being an inpatient for almost 5 months, I'm so happy to be able to tell you all that today my section was lifted and I have been discharged. I'm over the moon!

During this admission I experienced significant decline in my mental health, but also seemingly endless physical ailments. I was back and forth from the psychiatric hospital and the general hospital, and without the input from both I would most certainly not be alive to tell the tale. Bless the NHS!

It sounds so cliché but I'm truthful when I say that I wouldn't be here today without the amazing support I've had from my family and my friends. This admission has been arduous, not just for me, but also for the wonderful people I have around me and I've really learnt who I can rely on. So thank you to the people who have visited, called, written, and asked after me- I'm grateful to have you in my life.

Onwards and upwards now!

And if there's anyone out there struggling- stay strong, keep fighting, and I'm here if you want to talk. ❤
