I have come to two different conclusions recently. One is that you can just about sing "Du Hast" to the tune of "Ode to Joy."

The second is that I am the only person in our little household who finds this deeply amusing and requiring much rehearsal at inopportune moments.

Unless I am mistaken, this chaacter is named Terry. He was there, like we were, mostly to see Madness perform after the races. I think he knew them personally.

A re-creation

Today, my partner J and I are celebrating our anniversary. There's nobody in the world I would think about experiencing life.

J put a camera in my hands around our 5th anniversary and said, "go, shoot." Later that year, in our small apartment in Denver, we spent an evening playing with light and pumpkins, shooting slow and long exposures on film. We re-created that one night when we were in Austin.

Happy anniversary, my partner. I love you.

Dubstep was someone who followed me on here about 7 years ago. We'd message occasionally and I'm grateful to have known her. My condolences go to her family and friends.

Sorry it’s been kinda quiet

Life and the new day job are eating up a lot of my time. I’m still alive, making it as best as one can. I have been working through the backlog of photo shoots and trips, so hopefully when daylight appears, there’s more old work to be shared.
