incidentally, I'm kinda leaving both sites I know of you being around because of AI nonsense. do you happen to have another website you post to than here and deviantart? or any plans if you do move?

Unfortunately, I don't really have any other big websites I really go to besides an old animation forum I still occasionally post stuff to called Hyun's Dojo. I also don't really have plans to go anywhere at the moment either but I understand why everyone else is.

It's mostly just laziness, but I also don't like how a lot of places organize art, including here on tumblr. I still haven't gotten used to blog style posting and am probably generally too unsociable to be able to fully appreciate it. And I still have a dA because it would be too much of a pain to move all my garbage anywhere else, just for that new website to do some dumb thing to make everyone leave as well. But maybe I will post stuff some other place at some point, since it does seem like people would still like to see whatever my next work is that I will finish 2 years from now. I'll update if I do decide to do that, but I likely still wouldn't be leaving any of my current sites.

Thanks for the heads up. Though it took me awhile to find the option for some reason. I tried doing it from my dash but the option wasn't there until I went to my blog directly and went to blog settings.

Anyway, it's pretty lame that all these AI things make you check the option to opt out instead of the other way around, but I think its fairly obvious why they always do it like that. Which is why pretty much everyone is always upset when websites do this.

On another note, I don't know why this is the only ask I can see fully despite me getting some others in my notification.

Happy Bunday, Christmas Eve/Christmas, Year of the Rabbit, and whatever other holidays or traditions are going on or whatever.

Once again, it has been like over 2 years since I made anything substantial, and there was kind of a lot that's happened since then that has kept me busy. From a new job, living arrangements, a new pet, various games and shows and other excu- I mean things going on, I've had quite a lot to distract me from art. That being said, since that time, I've also been working on this thing off and on in a similar way to my Braxien animation. And just like Braxien, this is another one of my favorite Pokemon, Lopunny. Actually, its my literal favorite, if that wasn't obvious before. I just like the bun a lot. So much, that I felt that I wanted to make an animation that I ended up making exactly 428 frames (Lopunny's dex number) because I'm a moron. It honestly could have and probably should be a smidge longer, but I also just wanted to be done by that point. Making an animation of this length and trying to keep the quality consistent is still something I'm a novice at. It takes way longer than it should, much like this post.

Anyway, that's pretty much it. I hope to make something a little sooner than 2 years next time, but you never know with me. I have a bad habit of locking myself to a project if I start it.

I drew this for an MS Paint thread on /vp/ a few days ago since I just happened to be browsing on the day they were drawing Meowscarada. I touched it up a little since then but its still pretty messy since drawing with a mouse is quite tedious and I don't really know effective ways to clean my work. Still probably my best MS Paint drawing though Either way have a Meows because I like it, but don't expect this kind of thing too often.

Yeah, its been awhile. In truth, I haven't really been up to too much new since I've last posted, but there have been several changes since then that have helped contribute to me being lazy about working on drawing related projects. From adjusting to new living situations, to new pets, and most recently my first full-time job; I've actually got some stuff to do for once. Anyway, that is all to say that I'm sorry I haven't been very active (ever) but I also don't know if that will change anytime soon. But I do want to start posting stuff at least a little more often, even if its just something minor like this.

With all that said, these are just a few sketches I doodled during some downtime at this new job. Some Pokemon details are a bit off since I had to go from memory and haven't quite solidified some of the new designs in my mind yet and I only had a pen to work with. Kind of an interesting challenge for me since I sometimes erase a lot. Also, these are obviously (poorly) edited to remove a company name off the little post-its I was drawing on (It's just some random food safety company.) I don't work for them.

Hey, just so you know, there's an account on TikTok that's stolen your Braixen animation and thrown some battle music over it. They've gotten a ton of likes from it and didn't credit you at all. The account is @frank_fontes, and it's full to the brim of stolen art from a ton of artists with music added.

Thanks for letting me know. Something like this has happened before but personally I don't actually mind if someone uses my art without credit unless they just straight up try to pretend it is their own (judging by the other stuff on the page I feel like its obvious none of that art is theirs). Still, I don't really approve of that stuff but it doesn't affect me too much.

Now speaking more generally, I would prefer to be credited and I think most other artists would too, so I do want to let you know I'm grateful you and others bring stuff like this to the attention of artists. People who actually make money off of their art would definitely want people to know who made it. And also obvious people should ask an artist directly before doing anything with their art, regardless of if they make money from it.

Hi! I just discovered your page after seeing someone reblog your Braixen animation. So so so so good!!! Amazing!!! The way it looks reminds me of when I’d spend hours animating little things on my Nintendo DS back in the day lol and I enjoyed it so much. I’ve been wanting to get back into animation and learning how to do it properly and better so I was wondering what program you used to make yours? If that’s ok to ask

I used Flipnote Studio 3D to make it and my other animations on tumblr. It’s pretty similar to the Flipnote Studio that was also on DSi if that’s what you used before.

I've finally finished this. I started this about 2 years ago but put the animation on hold for a long time because I couldn't figure out how to continue it for some time. A lot of the animation I did last year and finished up this year. Anyway, I like Braxien a lot and felt it would be decent practice to try to animate something interesting involving it so here it is.
