Carnival! 🥳 Anyone else still vex about missing carnival this year? I was so ready for di road but now we’ll all have to prepare for living room antics instead 😆
Not gonna lie, I watched a few performances from Sumfest 2020 over the weekend and it got me hyped! These virtual festivals don’t compare to being there in reality but they’re not so bad after all! 💃🏾🎉⠀
I recently completed a custom digital illustration and after receiving such a positive response from the recipient, it gave me the drive to push myself to see what else I could create digitally ✍🏾
Here’s what a couple of hours playing around in Photoshop looks like! 🌻💛✨
How’s everyone’s week been? This week has completely flown by for me; I’m currently in month four of lockdown and am now starting to lose track of the days 🙈 ⠀
Thankfully I’ve managed to stay occupied during this time, and have worked on various new projects and networked with some really lovely people. So I honestly can’t complain! 🙏🏾
Is anyone else still in lockdown? If so, how are you keeping yourself sane? 🤪
Woop woop, it’s the weekend! I say that as if I actually have any plans 😅
I had the pleasure of creating this custom illustration for one of my recent competition winners ☺️ It was a nice change illustrating this lovely couple and their dog; I honestly can’t think of the last time I drew an animal! 🐶
While you’re here, check out Crystal Creations for beautifully hand wrapped crystal jewellery! I definitely had to feature the crystal necklace in this piece as it’s so lovely and personal to the wearer 😍
If you’ve been following me long enough you’ll probably remember this artwork I did in 2014. Here’s some fun facts about it for today’s #throwbackthursday ☺️
I based my illustration on the singer SZA as I was totally obsessed with her music at the time! I even named it after her song, ‘Warm Winds’ 🎶
I hated drawing hands back then, so luckily for me the photo I used for reference was cropped at the sleeves 😅
This artwork was one of several that I had printed onto t-shirts and sold on my online shop (bottom left image). ⠀
I literally wore the t-shirt everywhere!! I still have the original sample t-shirt; it’s completely knackered now so it lives at the back of my wardrobe with my other graphic tees (bottom right image) 👕
Lastly, the gradient background in this piece is where I get my inspiration for the colourful backgrounds in my current artwork ✏️🎨
I absolutely loved creating this custom ballerina illustration for a personalised birthday gift 🩰🎁 I especially enjoyed giving the dress its colourful Afrocentric finish! 🎨

Mini artwork prints are available from my online shop! www.berrymillustrations.co.uk/shop
They’re cute and fun sized; great for adding personality to the inside of your diary or planner. I personally use mine to add colour to my notice board 🎨☺️✨
I’ve recently been brainstorming and sourcing new products to add to my online shop. What items/artwork would you like to see or purchase? All suggestions are welcome! 🤗
