So when it comes to Johnny and his immediate family (mother, father, and siblings (( i like to think he has like 4 brothers and 1 sister Idk why lmao)) But with his mother, I feel like he has a great relationship with her like he's a bit of a mommas boy and I feel like he mom is like the sweetest person in the world. Now when it comes to his father it's def not the best. His father loved to teach his sons to be the best and never settle for less. When they failed he would do something bad (IDK what type of ab*se is more likely to cause a personality to be like Johnny's but ik there was probably lots of strong unneeded words, shunning, and ignoring) Growing up Johnny was taught to be the best at everything. Sports, grades, dressing, personality, like actually everything. He was never taught that he was enough just by being himself and doing his best which is really sad. Now when it comes to the siblings I feel like he has a great relationship with his sister. She gives great advice and helps him with his issues with his father and is all around just a wonderful sibling. All the brothers were treated the same as Johnny so they all bonded on trauma and I feel like when one of them fails something or does something bad then the others totally cover and keep secrets for each other, so there's also a level of trust. Other than his dad he loves his family and they are all proud of him (Minus the dad cuz he's a little bitch)
