because procrastination + overthinking + general anxiety rule my life (haha......) one thing I try to implement as much as possible is “do it or drop it”. aka I need to decide if I’m going to work on/complete whatever I’ve been stressing over right now and if not, I just need to let it go. currently being applied to job applications 🥴 but it does help you get on with things instead of obsessing and stagnating on them, even if you end up dropping it.

hey guys! we had to make a cv for our human resources class last term and when i tell u i had suchhhhh a hard time, i really mean it! anw here's a v short post including some advice/tips to help you make your own! it's v important that we start doing this early! after making my cv, i realized i needed to engage in more extracurriculars and internships outside my uni. hopefully, that's not the case for u. but if it is, it's not too late! let's build up our cv together!
this is a superrrrr short post, so i'm sure i wasn't able to cover everything important. but i hope this is still helpful for some of u <3 please do note that i'm not a professional at this. the information in this post is simply what i learned from my hr professor. if u wanna add to the discussion, please do feel free to do so!

here’s a shout out to all the students who pulled through during this chaotic year - and whether you are satisfied with how you did or not, please know that grades do not define you or your worth and that you should feel proud of yourself no matter what <3

vaguely academic things to do to keep yourself entertained
go down a wikipedia research hole by clicking the first term you don’t understand
binge a crashcourse series end to end (personal recs: world history, history of science, big history, philosophy)
find free books on project gutenberg
download some western classics for free
borrow books and audiobooks from the libby app or borrowbox
start a commonplace book
take a khan academy course
browse MIT’s free online course materials
teach yourself to code
go on a google scholar essay dive
try the open access button to avoid some paywalls for academic media, or install unpaywall that does a similar thing
research the history of the place you where you live
tempt the wrath of the duolingo owl and learn a language
search for online streams of the local tv in your target language’s country and use as background noise for immersion points
print and scrapbook favourite poetry and literature quotes
improve your handwriting by doing handwriting exercises
learn philosophy with the philosophize this! podcast. actually just check out all the educational spotify podcasts there are many good ones
start a weekly club with friends to share new and interesting things you’ve learnt that week
clean and reorganise your study space, physical or digital
check out online museums
fave educational youtube channels that I adore: vsauce, crashcourse, smarter every day, kurzgesagt, school of life, tom scott, r. c. waldun, vsauce3, primer, mark rober, veritasium, asapSCIENCE, scishow, TED-ed
hopefully you’ll find something to enjoy! happy learning x

managing your time is something v v important! especially now that we're all at home, it's really easy for us (or for me, at least) to lose track of time. with this, here are some of the time management techniques i've tried including what worked and what didn't!
i very vaguely explained each time management technique, so here are some additional links you can check out if you wanted to know more about them:

so I guess my 100 days of productivity are long over. I may have fell off the wagon with posting but it went extremely well. Still, I continue to learn everyday, just in smaller bouts, reviewing anki and watching Farsi videos, but it was an awesome exercise in diligence. I start grad school in a few weeks so hopefully I can transition this diligence into practice for school again. For now, I’ve been focusing on journaling. I do entries in French every now and again. I’ll endeavour to write an entry in Farsi sometime.
