It can definitely get expensive, depending on what needs to be done, but I think it's pretty reasonable where I am. The trip the other day was about 150us$ (141€) and it was a short notice appointment where they gave her treatment for her ears and a steroid shot for her possible stomatitis.

I think the most I've spent on a single appointment for a pet was when one of my cats needed dental work to have about 3 teeth pulled and that came out to be around 550us$ (517€). So all in all, not horrible. It adds up when you have 5 cats and a dog like I do though 🥲🥲🥲 I gotta stagger their yearly checkups just to avoid coughing up a small fortune all at once. Crossing my fingers that they don't get sick/injured at the same time 🤞

Gonna take my cat in for a second opinion today. Guess I should probably open up commissions again since it looks like it's gonna be an expensive month 🥲
