Backstory: (TW: SA) After Poseidon had taken advantage of Medusa, one of Athena’s priestesses, within Athena’s sacred temple. Athena had cursed Medusa with hair of snakes and ruined her beauty. Unbeknownst to Athena, Medusa was pregnant with Poseidon’s child from this encounter. Some months later, a gorgeous baby girl was born, untouched by Athena’s curse.
Sotiria was raised by Medusa, but felt no love from her. Her mother despised her because of her father, but there were times she truly cared for her. She was typically cold and distant, which Sotiria noticed.
On the other hand, Poseidon loved her. Unfortunately, Sotiria did not feel the same. He bestowed great power upon her and she took it without thanks. But he was still the man who hurt her mother and created this unfulfilling life for her. He was always amazed by her beauty and resemblance to Medusa, which was another reason her mother grew more bitter towards her. Sotiria consistently rejected her father’s efforts to join him and rule the sea.
After some years, Sotiria still demonstrated her strong abilities from the sea god and growing beauty as she matured, and Medusa grew more jealous and resentful of her daughter. Although she had some motherly love for her, she couldn’t bare to see her daughter live a prosperous life, even if she was miserable lacking the love she ought to receive.
Medusa told her daughter how beautiful she was one day and once Sotiria gently smiled at thanked her, Medusa looked her in the eyes and turned her to stone. Sotiria was frozen in a beautiful pose, standing tall with a soft smile and books held in one arm, curly hair cascading down past her shoulders.
The Gorgon took great care of her daughter’s stone statue, keeping it with her for years to come until she opened Auntie Em’s Garden Emporium. Sotiria stood front and center, surrounded by a pool of water and holding fresh flowers where her books would have been. Years went by and fate caused Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood to visit.
Percy was oddly drawn to this statue, but shook the feeling as he went to search for the pearls that would aid his escape from the Underworld. It was a shock to the three when they realized Medusa was the owner of this garden shop, but Percy beheaded her with the help of his friends and they finally had a moment to think. It was then that Annabeth realized who this statue depicted—or rather, who it was.
Percy was shocked to learn he was looking at his long lost sister and as he approached the pool of water with coins that had sunk to the bottom. His hands waded in the water as he processed this information, not noticing the water rising up the stone dress and turning it back to its soft texture. As the water kept rising, Sotiria was revived and took a breath as the rest of her body was returned to its natural form. The three stood in awe as she took in her surroundings and began shouting in Greek, and while Annabeth began to explain in Greek, Sotiria was hit with a wave of power that granted her knowledge of their language and strength from her powers.
Grover helped her down as she grasped the reality that she had been turned to stone by her mother, missed the past 23 centuries, she had a half-brother standing in front of her, and he’d just killed Medusa. He explained to her that he was just as resentful towards their father and he expressed that he was sorry for her troubling situation. Sotiria decided she owed him a debt for saving her from her stone cage and would join him on their mission if they were okay with it. Annabeth was hesitant at first due to her lineage, but put it aside and agreed to let Sotiria join them. Percy felt less alone with his sister by their side.

Born to George and Lenora Fielding, a wealthy Gotham family building Gotham for generations, Fiona would be bound for an easy life. But what most people didn’t know is that the Fieldings belonged to the Court of Owls and would do anything to “better” the city.
The Fieldings were high ranking Talons, and very serious about the mission. So serious that they sacrificed the well being of their daughter for the cause, they agreed to the plan without batting and eye.
Fiona would be conditioned to become an assassin from birth, her teachings would be highly focused on fighting techniques, weapon mastery, the history of Gotham, and the cause. Little more was needed.
She was intelligent, of course. She was taught facts and skills, but never to think for herself. Never to be herself. Never to step out of line of speak up. She was what they made her, molded her into. The Falcon, the Court of Owls personal assassin, the ultimate weapon used to protect Gotham.
The public did know of Fiona, and she made many appearances. Something was always off, though. Her responses were usually calculated, her voice cold, her movements…concerning. She was always observing what was around her, she almost looked paranoid. Until her parents started drugging her to keep her calm when she was out of the mask—and keep her quiet as not to say too much or ask the wrong questions.
Fiona was sent on many missions—and succeeded in all—before she had finally been put on the Batman’s radar. Now that her presence was known, what could be done for her? Would the Batman save her or stop her?

Backstory: Berri Skywalker, born Lydia, is the eldest Skywalker-Amidala triplet born alongside Luke and Leia on Polis Massa. After the three were split up, clones intercepted the transport bringing Lydia and her Jedi escort to safety. Lydia was brought before Darth Sidious and was sensed to be Anakin’s offspring.
Presented to Darth Vader as his own, he thought this to be his only child and named her after his late wife, Padmé. Lydia was renamed Berri, unknown of her original name. Despite the fact that Vader was forbidden to train his own Padawan while his master, Emperor Palpatine, was in control, Vader had convinced his master to have Berri raised within the Empire and trained to be an Inquisitor when of age. His request was granted and Beri was given a false last name to hide her parentage.
Berri was titled the Fourth Sister of the Inquisitors at 13 years of age and began enforcing the Empire’s will across the galaxy, crossing paths with many rebels along the way. Of them were Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Hera Syndulla, Zeb Orrelios, Ahsoka Tano, and more. She’d been keen on impressing her father by killing Obi-Wan herself, but never had the chance.
Berri had been told of her family’s past through the eyes of her father as she grew up, well aware of many figures in the former Jedi Order and Galactic Senate, but his memories were filled with malice. He spoke of her mother lovingly, but Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and so on were made out to be villains.
It was revealed to Berri that she had siblings when Luke was brought to the Emperor’s attention and Vader sought to recruit him, which filled his daughter with jealousy as she was promised to rule alongside her father and destroy Palpatine.
Berri attended the Battle of Endor, teaming up with her brother and father to destroy Palpatine and finally watched her father die trying to save his children. Vader was her guide through life, his word was her will. His final words inspired her to give up her life’s teachings under the Empire and follow her own path on the Light Side of the Force. Berri followed her brother, Luke, to Endor and met her sister, Leia, as well.
Berri, filled with guilt over her past actions as an Inquisitor, was driven to right her wrongs and teamed with her siblings to start anew, building the New Republic from the ground-up and training as a Jedi. After some time, she was even open to training the next generation. For a brief time, Grogu was her Padawan. She met Ahsoka once again and made amends, hearing stories of their shared master, Anakin Skywalker. The two became quite fond of each other.
Soon, Berri chose to move throughout the galaxy, restoring what she could. It’d only be a matter of time before her next battle.

Backstory: Mara Graham was born to the circus, it was her life. Two lovely parents and a hundred more found family members that all called Haly’s Circus home. It takes a village to raise a child, but a circus did just fine. There were a handful of other kids among the acts, too, so Mara always got to play with kids her age, like one of the Flying Graysons, Dick.
Mara found herself quite young, knowing that she’d like to be a clown and do fire acts. Marigold, the name she picked for herself. She excelled at her craft and got her own act by age 10. But it wasn’t long after that she had to part with her best friend in one of the most scarring nights of any tour they’d done, the night the Flying Graysons fell.
She stayed a clown for some years, doing more tours both domestically and internationally, picking up more skills and tricks from acrobats, strongmen, jugglers, and more. All useful for a clown to know.
She did a handful of tours that led her back to Gotham, and they always seemed to bring her down. It felt off standing in the same spot she lost family. Gotham City finally got to her years after the fall, and by the next stop, Blüdhaven, she quit. Parted ways with Haly and the troupe and got the first job she could find: bartending. She was perfect at it, a good people person, good at balancing and juggling, ready for fun tricks, and made some pretty drinks when she had the chance. She was a hit, and after collecting enough tips from her exceptional customer service a year or two down the line, she was able to open a little arcade in town.
Goldie’s Carnival started out small, but it was perfect to her. Kids poured in to have a safe place to play and party and, well, be kids. New additions to the arcade came more and more often and brought a bigger smile to her clown makeup-covered face. Mara was always dressed up as a clown, crazy makeup, crazy outfits, and crazy actions, always guaranteed to make anyone laugh. It was to the point that she was even asked to take pictures with her customers, which she loved. She was a staple to the community in her short time in Blüdhaven.
There was always something to do at the Carnival, even stand-up, talent shows, karaoke, and get all the snacks you could dream of. Well, not all, but at least the circus-themed ones. She was trying to give clowns a better name after hearing the drama a city over.
But things didn’t always go right for her. After a late night closing up shop to deal with a broken game, she ran into trouble in down the road. She was lucky to literally have a bag of tricks to ward off the mugger, but help arrived soon when Blüdhaven Police Squad Cars pulled up to give her an assist, which included an “Officer Grayson,” who thought to himself, I haven’t seen a clown in a while. While taking a statement, Mara saw him name tag and made the connection.
“Grayson as in…Dick Grayson?” She asked him and his eyes went wide. “I thought the clown makeup would have given me away, guess not.” She smiled at him and all those years at the circus came flooding back to him, they were ecstatic to catch up.
And it wasn’t long before Mara discovered Dick had taken up a new title, one a little more super. She was all about making the city a safer place for the kids running in and out of her doors, so she welcomed Nightwing in anytime he needed to lay low, or even if he just needed a snack. It was the least she could do, and he always enjoyed seeing a clown that didn’t want to kill him.

Backstory: Carmen Kyle was born to two drug addicts who wanted nothing to do with her, her father being the brother of Selina Kyle, who decided to take her niece in after her brother and his baby momma skipped town.
Carmen was brought up in Gotham City and soon noticed Aunt Selina’s antics, finding the Catwoman persona quite intriguing. She was determined to be just like her, and Selina felt that while it may not be conventional parenting, it sure did help her.
Stray was born on the streets of Gotham, learning the craft of various thievery styles and how to defend herself, but as the years went on, things got out of hand. Catwoman and Batman bumped into each other dozens of times, but that entailed that their protégés did, as well. Robin and Stray became best friends and enemies in mere moments, where this bond would serve a lifetime.
As the two grew older and Selina began easing up on her crimes for her new flame, she taught Carmen to do the same. It was no surprise that Stray and Robin had feelings for each other. Young love was a funny thing. Things teetered on and off for years until the Titans became a spoken idea. Stray had so many close calls and even began to feel guilt for her crimes, although it was fun to play cat and bird when she snagged anything. She decided to officially get her act together after Dick and Carmen made it official, and the two set off for San Diego.
Selina was so proud of her niece, but missed her all the same. And was worried for her because that reputation would follow her around with the rest of those heroes. And it did for a while, being accused every time something was out of place in the Tower. But eventually the team learned to trust her. The Titans became family to her, and she’d cherish the time with them as best as she could, but when Garth and Jericho died, things changed.
Dick and Carmen moved back to Gotham, staying together while trying to process their failures as heroes. Over the next few years, they could feel themselves drifting apart, and ultimately split by Dick’s own accord. In a moment—more like fit—of weakness, Carmen turned back to burglary to feel something again and kept her distance from her ex-boyfriend, which didn’t always work. But she tried.
That is, until he called her from Detroit.

They were perfect nights to look back on, but when Matt and her split, he was a mess. It was Maddy who inspired him to crawl out of bed and finish his degree, sitting next to him while he worked and learning with him (comprehension of the subjects wasn’t always there, but still she learned).
Sooner or later, Matt and her moved back to Hell’s Kitchen and it was a brand-new ballgame. In more ways than one. New school, new apartment, Nelson & Murdock, Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. And it didn’t take her long to figure out that last one. Needless to say, she was not all that happy.
