The theme for this event is "Beach party", and will be running all through the month of July. Bring the barbecues, the umbrellas, your sunscreen, and some marshmallows for the bonfire. Game of thrones is one of the highest-grossing television programs in the world. Like, you understand what's in there right? And that this HAS ALREADY HAPPENED? and none. none! of the things you're saying are going to happen are happening.

You understand that even if stuff like that was everywhere, IRL people wouldn't be congratulated for abusing their kids right? Like that's just not how people work, right?

You know that there is literally no possible way for this scenario to go this way, right?

Honestly, just to show how truly putrid “proship” culture is.

Imagine if they started fetishizing abuse, incest, and p*dophillia OUTSIDE of fandoms. That if people started to use fictional characters as an excuse to behave this way in ALL pieces of media.

What would happen if art choose too treat these subjects this way in ALL types of media including movies, video games, commericals, and social media.

How would the world be effected?

Imagine: Your parents were victims of incest and child molestation. You're terrified by this fact and your entire family bloodline has suffered from it since. You cant verbally communicate and due to neglect were only able to speak through blinking . But everytime you go on tv, there are commercials everywhere, promoting p*dophillia and incest and showing tv shows where they present this as a "normal" thing. Everywhere you go, you see people acting as if what you went through was nothing, thousands of families having the same issue due to how often media promotes it. Everytime you speak to people about it they tell you "Oh calm down! It's just fictional! They're just a piece of paper! You're crazy!" But... you were sure that what happened to you was wrong. You see commercials, movies, anime, fanfiction, and so many things that show p*dophillia as "theariputic" and "romantic". You KNOW that its wrong, you know that it hurt your family and yet everyone around you acts as if what happened was nothing. No one seems to listen. Everyone treats what happened to you as "normal" and "romantic" and everytime you try to tell them to stop, they tell you "watch something else dingus!" But... you cant escape. Everywhere you go, even if you block tags EVERYONE around you is glorifying incest and children being molested. You are forced to see your triggers at every waking moment, forced to see people treating what happened to you as if it were some kind of hollywood sex fantasy rather than a trauma that almost ruined your life. No one hears you, no one understands your pain, your lack of being able to communicate due to the deforminites from your grandparent's decision doesnt make this any better. Your entire family besides you thinks that what happened was "ok" from the movies that are out in theaters. But you KNOW that it's wrong, but everyone REFUSES to listen. To the film industry, to animation, to all the advertisements you pass by in the malls promoting pedophillia and incest as a "cute" and "sexy" thing. Children being drawn in sexually revealing clothing in cartoons, incest sitcoms being created on the daily. They say that they "care" about you and that they sympathize with your pain online but no matter how hard you try to ignore what's happening like they keep telling you to... all that you can see is that you're "nothing" to them. If you even DARE to tell them what theyre doing is wrong, the press will call you an "anti" and you're spat on by everyone around you, even your own parents. Every day, you see these same people who said that they cared about you telling everyone how "great" it is to draw children being molested and are rewarded by Twitter and Tumblr for it. They call it a "cope" and tell you that coping with drawing children being raped is "healthy. You KNOW that it's wrong. But no one seems to care. Children are casually sold on the streets, abusive families are congradulated on the news, cartoons mainly have abusive and or incestous families being romanticized, every commericial you see if glorifying pedophillia as if it was somehow a "sexy kink" and you can do nothing but watch. Your traumas are just another kink, another fetish thats just seen as a personal preference and nothing else. Not a trauma that costed thousands of lives.... but only a "fantasy". All they want is the fantasy of what you went through, not to accept the reality of the consequences of the incest, pedophillia, and rape that destroyed your entire family's bloodline.

Is this really the world you want people to live in?
