We got to see the baby Orangutan...it was so fun to watch. It's just as cheeky as any toddler/elementary-age kid. We got to see it's dad move around too...I had never actually seen an orangutan walk so I had no idea that they had dreadlock kind of fur. It was super cool!

Sunset from the crappiest hotel ever.
Seriously, save yourself a lot of money and don't stay at the Catamaran Resort and Spa. The room we stayed in had such dirt windows that it looked foggy out. In the hallway, we noticed blood on one wall and dark brown spray splatter on the ceiling from some mystery liquid...it was seriously gross.
Again, don't go. Save your money and stay at Hilton or something.

We stopped and had dinner at Liberty Public Market. The place was great...we got some amazing Thai food from Mama Made Thai and some Peruvian food from a place I can't remember the name of... :-(

Honest Dinosaur enjoyed the Avenue of Giants as well. He agrees that it's a way better drive than the highway.

We stopped at the Avenue of Giants...which is an amazing place. I have seen pictures but this just blew my mind.
Go early before the crowds...the quiet of the forest surrounded by giant trees with nothing but the sound of animals and wind blowing through the trees was majestic.

We stopped at the Trees of Mystery...not for whatever the trees are but for these epic giant things! How could you not stop for Paul Bunyan's rich carpet of chest hair.

This time we went to Blue Star Donuts.
The donut flavors we tried:
Hard apple cider fritter
Matcha Lime Crumble
PB&J
Dark Cherry Vodka w/White Chocolate
The O.G.
Tropical Delight
Chocolate Almond Ganache
Orange olive oil cake
Raspberry Rosemary Old Fashioned
Chocolate Bergamot Old Fashioned
Blueberry Bourbon Basil
My favorite flavor was the raspberry rosemary old fashioned, though I wish it had a stronger rosemary flavor.
