Okay but La Cage aux Folles SangCheng au with Nie Huaisang as Albin and Jiang Cheng as Georges. Jin Ling is Jean-Michel and is in love with Lan Sizhui as Anne. Wei Wuxian works at La Cage as a dancer/drag performer and also kinda works as the Jacqueline and Jacob character (just affiliated with/hanging around at his brother’s bar instead of having his own). Jin Guangyao, Song Lan, and Xiao Xingchen also work at La Cage as dancers/drag performers cause I want them there. Instead of Lan Sizhui having a conservative father he has Lan Qiren who is basically the same thing, just in great-uncle form. Lan Wangji is Sizhui’s adoptive father and he and Wuxian used to be together when Sizhui was little (which is how Wangji even met Sizhui) but Wuxian ran off for some reason and Wangji hasn’t been able to find him again. And Lan Xichen is there as Sizhui’s supportive uncle (maybe he’s caring for Qiren in his old age?).

For the story basically it’s the same as the musical where Huaisang and Jiang Cheng are together and own the drag bar La Cage aud Folles and Huaisang is the main drag performer there. They’re raising Jin Ling who comes home totally in love with Lan Sizhui but is worried about how Sizhui’s conservative great-uncle will react to his uncle’s bar and flamboyant partner. Eventually Huaisang ends up in drag pretending to be Jin Ling’s aunt. Things come to a head when Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji reconcile and Lan Qiren realizes Hauisang is not in fact a woman. But Jin Ling realizes that Lan Qiren’s opinion doesn’t matter and that he was wrong to try to push away Hauisang. And Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji help convince Qiren to support Sizhui and Jin Ling’s marriage and Wuxian and Wangji’s reconciliation. They all dress up in drag for the closing number just like in the musical and of course in the end Nie Hauisang and Jiang Cheng have a sweet moment.

But yeah I just want Hauisang in cabaret and vaudeville-type drag, singing ‘I am what I am’ and ‘a little more mascara’. Jiang Cheng being a big softie and singing ‘song on the sand’. Jin Ling singing ‘Anne (Sizhui) on my arm’. Everyone coming together to sing ‘the best of times is now’! I think it would just be a really fun and sweet au!

Evita inspired au with Jin Guangyao’s rise to power told through Evita songs. Jin Guangyao is Eva because they have similar stories, from poverty to political power by hustling and manipulating the right men. The Nie bros switch off as Che both confronting their old friend and trying to understand his motives. And Lan Xichen is the sort of Perón character in that Jin Guangyao sings ‘l’d be surprisingly good for you’ and ‘you must love me’ to/about him. Basically I just love the Evita soundtrack and I want Jin Guangyao in fashionable 40’s/50’s clothes and also I want Jin Guangyao and the Nie bros to do the argument-waltz from ‘a waltz for Eva and Che’

Hi guys! Long time no see! After months of procrastinating on this video I’ve finally got it up! It’s an Untamed/Prince of Egypt musical crossover! 

This soundtrack gives me hardcore Twin Heroes of Yunmeng feels so I knew I had to do some kind of edit for it. I mostly tried to relate the songs to actual moments in The Untamed but it did get a little au at times (I had to throw some Sangcheng and Nie Huaisang in general in there). You can take this as music that fits the Untamed and its characters or as a Prince Of Egypt au (for those curious I'll list who I think each character would be down below). Please excuse my abrupt editing on some of the songs. I often times had to cut off at very specific and weird points or the song would stop making sense for the characters because of a line or two that just didn't fit. 

 Now go do yourself a favor and listen to this wonderful album and imagine with me how boss an au of this would be!

Hello I would like to propose: SangCheng Beauty and the Beast AU (based on the broadway version cause duh)

-Nie Huaisang as Belle

-Jiang Cheng as The Beast

-Nie Mingjue as Maurice but like less stupid dad and more caring older brother

-Wen Chao as Gaston (tho idk who would be his Lefou)

-Wei Wuxian as Lumiere

-Lan Wangji as Babette cause I do what I want

-Lan Qiren as Cogsworth

-Jiang Yanli as Mrs. Potts

-Jin Ling as Chip

-Lan Xichen, Jin Zixuan, and Meng Yao are here as well but idk what type of furniture they are

The story would basically follow the broadway storyline (with all the songs included of course)

I think the curse would be put on Jiang Cheng after he becomes clan leader instead of when he is a child (maybe he’s around 18 when it happens?)

Jin Zixuan is there because he and Yanli are married and already have had Jin Ling by this point. The Lans and Meng Yao are there because the Jiangs were having a party or something when the enchantress showed up and was like “Jiang Cheng you’re too much of an angry purple grape and you will never find love, here have a curse, and cause I can I’ll curse everyone else here too, sucks to be you lol”

Other thoughts:

-Wangxian flirt shamelessly the whole time just like Lumiere and Babette do in canon

-Huaisang’s version of Belle’s dress is green cause I say so

-the enchanted object characters probably have some changes in what objects they are cause some of the stuff in beauty and the beast didn’t exist in ancient China

-idk if this takes place in canon mdzs world or somewhere else where they have castles and stuff, I haven’t thought about it that hard

-drop everything and listen to the broadway version of Something There and tell me that the interaction between Belle and Beast at the end of the song wouldn’t be adorable with Huaisang and Jiang Cheng

Do u think in the beauty n the beast sangcheng au they’re all really mad at jc like “wow why are u so bitter that u got literally cursed smh now we r all stuck here with u smh” n constantly make fun of him for it or fight about it or do they just vibe while waiting to go back to normal n b like “hm. not very cool to be in this situation but, it is what it is”

Hmm. I think they’re definetly not super happy about it but I don’t think anyone is straight up mad besides Lan Qiren and Jin Zixuan. Lan Qiren is mad cause ya know he’s Lan Qiren and Jin Zixuan is more dumbfounded by the entire situation which causes him to lash out (also he will take any opportunity to get on Jiang Cheng’s nerves because he was harassed by him and Wei Wuxian through his entire courting process with Jiang Yanli and he will have his revenge dang it!). I think Lan Xichen and Meng Yao are more understanding and Yanil and Wei Wuxian will straight up fight anyone who says this is their precious baby brothers fault! Lan Wangji just wishes Jiang Cheng would tell Huaisang he loves him so he can be human and finally kiss Wei Wuxian! (and maybe do more then that if you catch my drift).

I honestly don’t like what the live action movie did with making the stakes so high with the whole if the curse isn’t broken by this time we become inanimate objects thing. I think sticking to the animated movie and the broadway version if Jiang Cheng doesn’t break the curse they all just stay as talking furniture which isn’t so horrible. I think Jiang Yanli and Lan Xichen genuinely believe that if someone were to come along Jiang Cheng would be capable of falling in love with them. Only Lan Qiren and Jin Zixuan think it’s totally hopeless. (Wei Wuxian also has his doubts but he thinks he looks pretty handsome as a candlestick (or perhaps an incense burner if you will) so he’s chill)
