“Changes” is the Justin Bieber Album we all needed.
Yes, I am proud to say that I have the Bieber fever! As you all know, my music taste spectrum is indefinite.  Are you really the least bit surprise that I have the Bieber fever? I grew up to Justin Bieber and watched as Justin Bieber transformed into the artist he his today. I’m even excited to say that I actually went to a Bieber concert back in 2015/2016 for his “Purpose” tour. While Justin Bieber is a pop sensation, I don’t believe we give Bieber enough credit for his influence of R&B and how he brought it into his music and helped collide pop & R&B.
With his most recent album Changes, it was really the album we needed from Justin Bieber and long been waiting for. For someone whose favorite genre is R&B, Justin Bieber really chef kissed Changes in bringing his Pisces water sign energy and creating some sexual, needy, vulnerable, lovey-dovey songs.
Justin Bieber was definitely a teen sensation and was immediately put into the “pop” box. Which we’ve grown to learn that as an artist he didn’t want to stay in that box and truly wanted to navigate and be apart of the R&B world. The first album that I believe we got learn more of Justin’s tender, sexual, emotional side was his older album “Journals”. Justin launched “Journals” back in 2014. It wasn’t his most popular album, which makes me so sad, because it’s honestly one of my favorite albums from him. I’m going to blame his media team, because they shouldn’t have let this album slip from their hands and force Justin to stay in this quote on quote “pop/teen sensation” box. If you haven’t listened to “Journals”, I definitely recommend listening to “Hold Tight”, as it most definitely my favorite song on the album. The beat of this song is sexual, and if I had myself a man, we’d be getting sensual to this little number. You know what I’m sayin? Teehee.
Changes  is a water sign anthem. If you’re dating a water sign (Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces), haha, takes some notes from the Biebs because the love languages that scream throughout the album, I’m like “yes please!”. When I heard Changes was on its way to drop, I was really excited to hear the new album. I’ll be honest, when I first heard “Yummy” I was nervous of what’s to come. “Yummy” is a catchy song, but I was ready to be disappointed for the album to be radio show tunes. I can tell you that I was very pleased to hear when the album fully dropped, my Scorpio emotional deep self was heart-warmed by the album. It took me a while for me to want to deep dive into the album, but once I heard the song “Intentions” ft Quavo, I was so surprised we finally heard this side of Justin again that I knew it was time to dive deep and listen.
Am I being a little biased on my review, yes. But, Changes is definitely one of the few albums where I immediately added a lot of the songs from the album to my personal playlist. *added*, *added*,*added*. I think what I love about this album is you’re getting such a vulnerable side of Justin. His lyrics on this album are different than what he usually sings about. I mean he literally sings about how he’s available, not being tired of being with Hayley, when you getting here so we can make some love, and more.
I adore that I can put on this whole album and let it play throughout the background. The beats on this album have a great intertwine of pop, R&B, and some EDM sprinkles in it. Which make the sound transitions between song high & low, which is what makes it entertaining to listen too! When going through the whole album I definitely have some favorite songs. My top three songs are 1. Available 2. E.T.A and 3. Come Around Me, and here’s why.
Available- This song for me I think hits my heart a little deeper than it should. After dating emotionally unavailable people for some time, hearing this song guess you can say gives a girl some hope. I’m attracted to the soft sound of his beats and singing.
E.T.A.- That acoustic guitar intro will get me going every time. I love how sexy this song starts and continues the acoustic guitar sound. It just makes me feel sexual whenever I hear the song.
Come Around Me- Even though this song is a little R&B song, I totally see myself getting in my feels at the bars as it has the beautiful change in Tempo by giving us a little soft rap vibes.
Changes really the album we all needed, and I’m so excited that Justin got to finally show his talents of his R&B side. It’s the album that really gives his fans to listen to his range in music. I only hope to hear more of this side of Justin more and continue to contain the Bieber fever.

Artist Spotlight: Kid Cudi
With Man on the Moon III: The Chosen, making its album debut it was nostalgia that ran over my body that felt right to give spotlight to the one and only Kid Cudi. I adore Kid Cudi’s music for being unique, entertaining, calming, and deep. So when I heard that Kid Cudi was dropping an album and was adding to his Man on the Moon series, I knew in my heart that we just got delivered something good.
I was first introduced to Kid Cudi back in 2009-2010, when he first came up in the music scene with his first album Man on the Moon: The End of Day. Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, Kid Cudi was a different and unique sound to the rap genre. His sound was different, and his style of rap was deep. Kid Cudi is the type of rapper that you do need to read between the lyrics. Once you do, you’re able to visualize and understand Kid Cudi from a deep and honest perspective. I believe credit is due to Kid Cudi as I believe he was one of the first rappers to bridge music genres by connecting with alternative artist like MGMT, and later Steve Aoki and eventually elevating the music game for EDM.
My favorite Kid Cudi album of all time would 100% be Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Ranger. What made that album so special is you are truly taken on Kid Cudi’s journey of his experience with drugs and mental illness, which he has recently opened up about in the last couple of years. This album is my favorite because I can listen to every single song on the album, add to the variety of playlist, and always reminisce how great the songs are. Man of the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Ranger is one of the few albums that has had me successfully run through a full album with no skips.
Kid Cudi’s  journey hasn’t always been at its best light, and I respect him for being open about his hardship with mental illness. Back in 2014, Kid Cudi almost committed suicide, and it was so heartbreaking to know he was hurting, because his art, work, and music spoke to so many individuals including me, and his work healed people. With Man on the Moon III: The Chosen dropping, it makes me so happy to have him be here to share his work with us.
Nostalgia works in interesting ways, but Kid Cudi is an artist that helps me experience nostalgia. I was in high school when I was first introduced to Kid Cudi. I remember being with friends talking about Kid Cudi and sharing favorite songs from his album, discussing how dope he is. What I love about Kid Cudi’s music, is his choice in beats, as he’s not your binary rapper. His spectrum of sound goes on so wide by combining alternative sound, but adding Kid Cudi’s mellow spunky twist. It makes you want to listen to what Kid Cudi has to say and head bob to it, maybe even a couple good shoulder shrugs too.
I’m excited to share a fun fact that I’ve seen Kid Cudi live, LAST YEAR! I went to Hard Summer 2019 and he headlined. It was such a great performance and was so fun to hear him live! Even though Kid Cudi is known for having laid back music, his live set was so much fun. He makes it entertaining and his visuals were entertaining and lively. . I would definitely love to watch him again because I really enjoyed his performance at hard summer.
Now to the fun part, and what you all been waiting for, how do I feel about Kid Cudi Man on the Moon III: The Chosen?
I’m loving it! This album definitely continues to the same vibe that the two Man on the Moon albums made so special, and that’s hearing a visualized vision of Kid Cudi’s mind, dreams, and imagination. I also am just loving his bars on this album. I think he came through with some great stuff. His sound was super strong, but continuing to express his passion for music & sound, but staying in line with what’s hot today in music. You get the authenticity of Kid Cudi along with the new traditional sound of Pop Smoke, Travis Scott, Roddy Rich. I’m very pleased with this album and so happy he dropped it!
My favorite songs from the album in order are 1. Heaven on Earth 2. Tequila Shots 3. Dive 4. The Void.

Spotify Find: Artist Edition: Part 2- Giveon
And just like that, I’m already sharing a part 2 post to my Spotify Find: Artist Edition!
My creative neurons we’re tingly after hearing the beautiful, angelic, deep soulful voice of Giveon. A few weeks ago, I was playing Spotify’s “Riff & Runs” playlist when the song “When It’s All Said And Done” blasted through my speaker and paused me. The moment I heard Giveon sing, there was just something unique in his sound that stops you in your tracks and authentically listen. But today, I heard him light up my energy again, and decided to deep dive into all his work.
It makes sense why I’m attracted to Giveon’s music. Not only does he warm my R&B soul, his R&B style is vintage & classic. With hints of alternative sound and twine. It was through my deep dive that I discovered he created a song with a feature of one my favorite female artist, Snoh Aalegra. Which I could not have loved a better feature of R&B fire. He also collaborated with Drake on his newest album “Dark Lane Demo Tapes”, on the song “Chicago Freestyle”, which Giveon truly sets the tone for that song that makes you want to hear the story of Drake’s lyrics.
Giveon is a fresh & new artist, who is steadily rising. He currently has over 3,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Giveon is from Long Beach,CA and recognizes his art & talent. Giveon also unapologetically strives to be a different sound.
Something about Giveon is promising, and I’m really looking forward to seeing the rise of Giveon. His music is distantly familiar, but yet so eccentric from his soothing voice and vulnerable energy. I candidly enjoy being in the moment with Giveon’s music, and that’s why I had to share my discovery. Not only because I’m newly in love with his art, but because I think more people need to be listening and enjoy his music with me.
Thank you Giveon, keep singing.

Spotify Find. Artist Edition: Part 1  Sinead Harnett
My favorite thing about Spotify is that their algorithm is designed to find new artist so easily. I’ve mentioned in previous posts that I’ve discovered so many new artist by utilizing their genre playlist or song radio generator.
When I was first introduced to Spotify, I was in college. I was discovering new music constantly trying to find playlist that I can focus and listen at the same time. In my discovery, I remember finding the soulful, beautiful sound of Sinead Harnett. Sinead Harnett is English singer who is well known for her R&B style vocals, but has been featured in a variety of EDM DJ’s songs like BAYNK, Disclosure, and Kaytranda to say the few.
One of the first few songs I discovered was her first discography N.O.W. released in 2014. Her songs “No Other Way”, “Paradise”, and “High Wire” were released and I fell in love since. Highly recommend listening and adding to your playlist.
What I personally love about Sinead as an artist is not only her voice, but her creativity in beats/sound. All of her songs have this beautiful melody that mixes R&B and EDM beats interchangeably and effortlessly. When listening to Sinead you’re pulled through many emotions. With her R&B voice, you will be in your feels. But, there are many upbeat, vibey tracks that are not only perfect to smoke to, but cruise down Highway 1 too. One of my current favorite songs that she is featured in by BAYNK, is “Settle”.
I’m glad that I discovered Sinead Harnett, as her music is wonderful. Not only is her voice so pleasing to listen too, but her songs have great lyrics. You can vibe, sing your heart out, and be in your feels all at the same time when listening to her.
If you never listened to Sinead Harnett, I highly recommend throwing her on your next song que and blissfully enjoy :)

Which EDM Tent will you find me at?
As Summer 2020 starts coming to an end, I can’t help but think about how much I miss festival season. I love festivals. I love the whole culture, I love the music, I love being able to dress up and wear fun make up, I love the community, and I love the energy it brings out in me. Some of my most memorable and favorite experiences have been attending music festivals. I guess what you all are witnessing is an emotional moment with me, haha. 2020 has been a hard year, & the fact that I rang in the new year at a New Year’s Eve festival (Countdown) with a lot of promise & hope for 2020, it’s just all ironic to say the least.
I’m truly filled with gratitude for what festivals have brought into my life and even more grateful that it was the EDM culture that really brought awareness to this lifestyle. So, I thought with an emotional filled heart, it was best to shed some spotlight to the EDM world.
So, which EDM tent will you find me at? Well, good luck trying to find me because I probably just left the main stage and headed to the bass head tent, now I’m at the vibe check tent, and back at the trap tent. Oh, and of course, calls won’t go through and I definitely didn’t show up to the meeting point on time. Point is, with EDM genres being so fluid, I’m literally at all the tents some how.
When you press play on my Festival Playlist it is skating through so many genres on my phone speaker, but we’re always vibin’ & groovin’. After a lot of thinking I realized that when it comes to which EDM Tent you’ll find me at it’s a toss up between the Trap Tent and House Tent & here’s why.
With the EDM Trap Genre, I love how unexpected everything is. It can start off slow, it come in with a dope beat, you can have rap vocals or singing, and as always that build up to the drop always hits the ears differently every time. Plus every trap artist I’ve listen too or seen live(TroyBoi, Flosstradamus, RL Grime, and DJ Snake to name a few) have literally taken my soul in their performances.
Where as the House Tent it is all whole different vibe that brings out my groove, shoulder shimmies, and such an emotional joy fulfillment. While house can be a lot of the same tempo, the subtle switches in beats, volume, or track it helps keep the vibe in a wave. You can be bouncin’ or you can be chillin. Some of my favorite House artist have to be Tchami, Malaa, Dombresky, Disclosure, and Chris Lake. All of these artist spin House in such different ways, which why you usually find me going to House tents, because each House artist brings a unique & different vibe each performance.
Don’t get me wrong though, I do have respect and love for some main stage classic DJ’s, where sometimes, even if you’ve already seen Dillion Francis 5x, you just know that you won’t be disappointed for a 6th time. There’s just some DJ’s that will always have it and I feel like Dillion Francis, Porter Robinson, Galantis, Calvin Harris and Kaskade are those type of DJ’s. The DJ’s you’ll always want to see again and again.
There’s truly so many great artist in this world that bring out such a fun culture and vibe. I cannot wait to go to my next festival, because I just know that the vibe will be so pure, with high vibrations, and such a sense of love that I think we can all use right about now. All of these things festivals & the EDM culture bring out constantly, and I’m missing it quite a bit. I’m positive will reunite again and best believe there will be a lot of dancing, singing, and vibin’.
When we can go outside again in crowds, DJ’s who I plan too definitely see live who I haven’t yet are the following:
-Disclosure
-Martin Garrix
-Calvin Harris
-Valentino Khan
-Don Diablo
So, will we be at the same tents or nah?

Spotify Playlists
Have you ever been handed the aux cord and your friends ask you what playlist you’re playing, and it’s your own, and feel so honored? Because, same! Just kidding, sort of. I guess you can say I’m pretty proud of my personal playlist that I’ve created on Spotify, but I also love the many playlist that Spotify offers.
Music playlist are so fun to generate as you can listen to music based on your mood or the night ahead. There are literally so many Spotify playlist available that can be searched by simply entering a mood, feeling, or genre. Which is why I personally love & use Spotify. To answer you next question, yes I am whole-heartedly team Spotify. A lot of the reason I am Team Spotify is specifically for the the pre-made playlist they generate, but also I find that Spotify is the most user-friendly platform. From being able to navigate the app by mood & genre, or charts it is so easy to find a “new playlist”. They even create playlist that are “Made For You” by taking your most listened too artist, combining similar artist/genres, and create a mix of go-to music.  Another thing that Spotify does a great job at is helping consumers discover new artist or up & coming artist into these playlist. The Spotify app also offers a cool “song radio” feature. If you’re listening to a song you never heard of before, you can simply click “song radio” and it will pull up a whole new playlist and play similar music either from the artist themselves or similar artist. Below is a photo of how Song Radio feature works.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I recently just discovered how to make you own cover photos for your personal generated playlist and I had so much doing this. It’s actually extremely easy, and has to be down on a desktop version of Spotify, but I’ve attached steps here (click link). I think its a creative way to express not only your personality and humor but a little sneak peak on what the playlist will consist of. Here are my cover photos for my personal playlist! Feel free to follow any of them :)
Tumblr media
A common question I hear is what new music is out there so, I wanted to share some of my favorite playlist that I’ve discovered on Spotify. These playlist that I’m sharing, I continuously go back to them because I’m always discovering new music/artist on these playlist.
My personal favorite Spotify Playlist are: Pollen, Riffs & Run, Viva Latino!, and Chill Tracks.
1. Pollen- Pollen is a playlist filled with music genre’s from Alternative R&B,  inter-woven genres, classic headliners, Alternative Rap and more. I love listening to the Pollen Playlist when I’m laying out, kicking back with my friends, or traveling. I personally love listening to the playlist when I’m traveling because I am able to really focus on the music & lyrics. I recommend this playlist if you’re trying to discover new music, new genres, and trying to go out of your box when you listen to music! 420 Friendly.
2. Riffs & Run- For all my simps, this playlist is great for you! I generally love listening to this playlist when I want a chill ambience, but I’m also in my feels. Riffs & Runs is a great mix of alternative R&B. If you love Snoh Aalegra, Pink Sweats, Kaytranda, and Sinead Harnett this playlist is that sound with some upbeat funk & soul. I recommend this playlist if you’re wanting a vibe that’s relaxed, soulful, and definitely some light head bopping. 420 Friendly and I would also say it could be a good sex playlist if you’re really into that funk sound.
3. Viva Latino!- Being Latina, this is one of my favorite playlist as this playlist can be so versatile on when to play it. If you’re wanting to discover the newest Latino tracks, this playlist will always have what’s new & hot. You have a mix of your reggaetón, Spanish pop, or some of that sexy latino talk. This playlist can be played at parties, in the background, in the shower, or getting ready. I’m usually always grooving & moving when this playlist is playing. Viva Latinos!!
4. Chill Tracks- Alright, so Chill Tracks is actually one of my favorite work playlist to listen too. This playlist will definitely have some more EDM vibes, but very mellow EDM like Petit Biscuit, ODESZA, and SG Lewis. I love that the music has stimulating beats, uplifting vibes, and can be played for hours in the background. I find that this playlist is relaxing and good vibes. 100% 420 Friendly too.
Some other major playlist that I think are great for top tracks, genre focused based and just great recommendations are the following:
-R&B
-Chilled R&B
-Power Workout
-Workout Twerkout
-Feeling Myself
-Hot Rhythmic
-Cleaning Kit
-Good Vibes
-All the Feels
-Channel X
I find that its so easy to navigate Spotify while being able to discover new music or simply keep playing your favorites on repeat. I hope that you look into these playlist and start loving them as much as I do! Enjoy :)

Favorite 2020 Artist
I’ve decided that 2020 is a just a straight trash bag of a year, but we still got a whole 6 months left, so it’s important to highlight and spotlight some of the goods that come out of 2020, like my favorite 2020 Artist!
Before I reveal my newest favorite 2020 Artist, I want to explain that this artist is who I personally discovered in the year 2020. So to be clear & technical, this is my favorite 2020 Artist* who I personally discovered in 2020. Now that we’ve got that cleared up, I’m excited to share that my favorite artist for 2020 is ...
Victoria Monet!!
Tumblr media
Victoria Monet was born in Georgia, but grew up in Sacramento, California. I’ve personally heard of Victoria Monet through her friendship with Ariana Grande. Victoria Monet is openly Bi-Sexual who uses her music platform of singing and songwriting to express freedom and honesty. She wants to break glass ceilings by openly talking about her sexuality, women empowerment, and gender roles. Learning this about Victoria Monet makes me love her and her work even more!
I first discovered Victoria Monet through her single “Ass like That”. As you will all come to learn, I am a heavy R&B head. I immediately heard this track and felt all the sensual vibes R&B is suppose to give you. But, once Victoria started singing it just all melted together. Her voice has a range of being soft-spoken, sexy, but also high melodies that are pretty to listen too.
Victoria Monet has 3 albums. Nightmares & Lullabies Act 2, which was released in 2015. Life After Love, Pt 1 & Pt 2 which both came out in 2018. Victoria Monet has been featured in many songs like “Monopoly” by her & Ariana Grande, “Little More Time” by her & Lucky Daye, “Stay” by her & T.I., and “A Little More” by her & Machine Gun Kelly.
Two of my other favorite songs that Victoria is featured in is “Experience” featuring Khalid and SG Lewis, as well as, her single “Moment”. While Victoria Monet has been around for some time, I think 2020 is her break out year. I’m excited to see more of her work, as she is creative and bringing this new sound to music. She brings this seductive vibe that whenever I listen to her music, I feel very sexy. A lot of her songs are added to my after hours playlist if you know what I mean ;).
If you’re looking for music that is sensual, sexy, seductive R&B, you won’t be disappointed with Victoria Monet’s music. Check her out, add to your sexy playlist, and feel sexy with Victoria Monet!

Top 5
Hey Y’all! Yay to my first official blog post with an actual focus. I’m so excited.
I decided that I wanted to share with the world a more introduction topic and share my top 5′s and why. Let’s just dive right into it!
My top 5 women artist:
1) SZA- SZA will always have a special place in my heart. Her CTRL album spoke to me in every single way. Each song I just connected with from the lyrics, the beats, and her voice. I never skip her songs when it comes on the shuffle and I’ve listened to that album on repeat that I’m pretty sure I know every single lyric, including her Grandma’s part. I absolutely adore her voice, art, and energy! & we love a Scorpio sista!
2) Jhené Aiko- My fellow water sign and Pisces queen! I just love the energy Jhené brings into her work. She’s so raw, vulnerable, and unapologetic with sharing her true emotions. Her voice is so beautiful and truly brings peace to my energy, and she’s the perfect 420 vibe.
3) Beyoncé- The talent and the ENERGY. Need I say more? I’ve adored Beyoncé my whole life. I loved Destiny’s Child as a young girl and I loved Beyoncé since. Just love hearing Beyoncé perform, it’s amazing.  There are really no words to explain Beyoncé, because even her name is just powerful enough. Her music is deep, meaningful, and powerful.
4) Snoh Aalegra- So I found out about Snoh Aalegra in 2019!! I was so late! But I just LOVE the vibe Snoh Aalegra brings. So romantic and honest about her feelings. I LOVE her voice, and just love her art & style in music.
5)Rosalía- Wow, Rosalia. Her voice is so unique and powerful. Her rang is spectacular. Seeing her live was an experience so holy and beautiful. I love how she displays her creativity of art, fashion, and coordinating it to her Spanish culture.
My Top 5 male artist:
1) Miguel- Miguel, Miguel, Miguel. Wow, I love the art that Miguel gives us. His soulful, sexy vibe is so care-free and just makes me feel like I’m a beautiful sexy woman whenever I listen to him. His voice is so angelic. I love singing his songs and just love having his music in the background at all times of the day.
2)Khalid- The talent Khalid has is amazing. I really love Khalid’s voice! Whenever he is featured in songs or his own music, it truly puts me at ease and a great mood. I’m always calm and happy whenever I listen to Khalid and I love that his music gives me that feeling.
3) Ty Dolla $ign- Let’s be real, any Ty Dolla $ign feature is always a slap! Ty’s voice is raspy, sexy, and every song he sings, I’m literally always dancing. I think Ty is Lowkey under rated, but I think he’s so talented. Not only with his creative lyrics, but truly his voice. Every single song hits different or is better elevated when Ty is featured.
4) Bad Bunny-  Where do I even begin! Bad Bunny’s creativity is beyond beautiful to watch. I love how unique Bad Bunny is from his art, performances, fashion, etc. He steps out of so many latino “norms” and does it unapologetically, which I appreciate so much. I can sing to Bad Bunny, I can dance some reggaton, or I’m just straight up backing this booty up when his songs come on. Bad Bunny always brings out this hyped up Andrea that’s unmatched.
5) Anderson .Paak- Can we talk about swag? Anderson .Paak just brings this swag to all of his songs that have you bumping your head like that Jay Z gif. I love Anderson .Paak’s music & creativity. His music is always a good vibe and the perfect music to play on a beautiful weekend day. I just love that .Paak really brings out joy in all his music and puts a smile on my face when ever I listen to him.
My Top Rappers:
1)J.cole- J.cole is the rapper that spits FACTS. I love his rapping skills. I just think his verses are so powerful with so much bass behind it. Also two albums, no features? IGHT bet. (Technically 3, as I believe Kill Edward is still Jcole from what I’ve heard). Whenever I listen to J.Cole, I feel like I’m listening & understanding how his brain works, and I love how deep he is. I think he’s one of the few rappers in the game who isn’t afraid to discuss real topics (politics, opioid crisis, cancel culture, being a husband, etc). I also admire that his art isn’t to make us happy, its for him, and I respect that whole-heartily. J.cole gang forever.
2)Drake- I remember when I first discovered Drake, I obviously knew him on Degrassi. But, I also remember his first song dropped and the whole world paused because they knew a star was in the making. Say what you want about my Scorpio brother and all that Drake n Drive, I am here for it. What you have to appreciate about Drake’s music whether it becomes mainstream, his songs never get old. His songs are timeless. You can play any song on Nothing was the Same and you’ll think to yourself, man this song was such a hit when it first came out. Drake has a great way of making sure you know he’s on a song, plus his features are always dope and sometimes some of the hardest versus I know.
3)Megan the Stallion- I am so glad that Megan the Stallion is receiving the recognition that she is because she deserves it. Her rapping talent is unmatched. Her freestyles? Wow. I admire her confidence, work-ethic, and whew, those versus are STRONG. I absolutely love how unapologetic she is about her sexuality and how she encourages women empowerment, feminism, and confidence in all her music, real hot girl shit. Ha ha. She really be dropping some crazy bars and she’s just getting started. I’m looking forward to seeing her rise.
4)Mac Miller- RIP. The talent & range this man had. I adored Mac Miller when I first heard about him in High School when that KIDS album dropped. For a rapper, he approached the rap game so differently and I was attracted to it. We saw Mac Miller evolve to this soul vibe but wasn’t afraid to be vulnerable in his work. He truly was a tremendous artist and his music will always have a special place in my heart.
5)Tory Lanez- Ok, I’m going to be honest. I was sort of iffy about Tory Lanez. I remember I went on a date and this guy told me that Tory Lanez was his favorite rapper and he was so slept on. I was judging so hard, and was thinking to myself, “really Tory, ok?”. Well, I’m here to say I was wrong, and Tory Lanez has some crazy talent. Let’s be real, that Love Me Now album has so many club bangers. I think that’s why I love his music so much because his music is the music that starts the party and let’s you know the party is about to be cracking all night. He also killed that Chixtape 5! Had me gasping at some of those lyrics.
Alright y’all, so these are just some tops of mine. Of course, there is so much music out there that I love. Definitely want to give some recognition to Big Sean, Kehlani, PartyNextDoor, Childish Gambino, and A$AP Ferg. I’m looking forward to diving in to some of these artist’s albums. Or talking about some great songs and my interpretation of the songs. I hope these Top’s helped give you a better understanding of my music energy and the vibes I love! Till next time :)

Let’s Talk Music Gems
Hey Y’all! Welcome to my new creative outlet. Quarantine definitely made me do it, but whatever, let’s have some fun and talk about music.
Allow me to reintroduce myself *drop beat*. I’m Andrea (she/her), and I’m another person that loves music! I believe we can all agree that music can touch all of us in a variety of ways. Music for me helps me understand my emotions, brings out joy, keep me focus, and most importantly keep the booty shaking. Along with loving music, I also love in-depth conversations. I love talking to people and breaking down music, analyzing the lyrics, running a beat back, singing to it (not well), and adding it to the perfect playlist. I enjoy finding music I’ve never heard of or just repeating songs that speak to me. You’ll soon come to find out my genres are all over of the place and I love a lot of music.
My playlist switch from J.cole, to SZA, to Ariana Grande, to Rosalía to Chris Lake, to Paramore, to Daddy Yankee, to Hozier, to Rebelution, to Tchami, to Jhené, and a tons more. If a song makes me stop in my tracks, dance, sing, or actively listen it’s getting added to one of my many playlist.
I think it’s important to note what sparks my interest in music because everyone listens to music differently. For me, beats are what usually attract me to a song. When I hear an amazing beat I’m usually yelling, “turn it up!”. Of course, being the Scorpio woman that I am and always in my feels, I love myself some deep lyrics. As I continue to grow this blog, I will definitely share if it’s beats or lyrics that caught my attention when first hearing songs.
I’m hoping to spotlight new artist, spread music around, share history, deep dive into albums, review, share stories from festivals/concerts, discuss why these songs are amazing, and much more! I’m not 100% sure where this blog will take me, but I hope you’ll tag along and enjoy what’s ahead because I’m excited to talk about music and share my gems with you.
