I'M IN LOVE WITH SUBARU'S OUTFITS HCS QIUDHSIJSJSKJSJSK
If your inbox is open, can I ask the same for Reiji please? 🥺🤧 I'm so obsessed with his aesthetic like is not even funny anymore 🗿
Love your blog btw 😳😳
Reiji’s outfits center around dark academia BUT only the classiness and sleek composition because he’s aiming for the prestigious and exalted implication of what the aesthetic offers.
People have mistaken him for a model for Dior and he’ll never live it down. His clothing outfits are almost all black with the exception of grays and dark blues that he basically looks like slenderman reincarnated.
Now, he has more color options because Kanato kept ringing a small bell and called Reiji his personal Butler after Kanato’s classmates asked: “Hey- That tall man is always with you- Are you sure he’s a family member?” Why? Because without his school uniform, Reiji looks like he was working as a high-level young head butler. It doesn't help that his facial features are sharp and defined; making him look mature than he is.
What I’m saying is that he won’t look like Sherlock Holmes in Modern Day but a dark snobby chic book nerd from NYU.
He wants to fit in with humans in the sense that the more he leans towards timeless outfits that still incorporates his fashion needs and not look like he’s cosplaying a Victorian Englishman because as the son of a politician, he believes it’s “beneath him”.
Muted coloured outfits. He likes things desaturated and hates vibrant colors that make his eyes bleed.
He is a big fat SLUT for blazers. He finds them easily customizable; he can tailor the blazer’s shoulders to be smaller to emphasize his deltoids, he can go with blazers that either have one button, two or none at all to show off the new vest he’s bought, you get the gist.
Blazers also come in a lot of colors that have a matching pair of dress pants or he can mix and match to see which carefully handpicked color palette he’s going to test out.
Yes, you best believe this man has studied color theory to see which best match his skin’s hue and tone.
His pale bluish skin tone leans towards the cooler side so he wears clothing that has warmer hues or dark tints of clothing. He’s read that “contrasts work amazing and are the glue that makes an outfit look planned and put together professionally”.
Also has a thing for sweaters and turtlenecks. They’re comfortable, they allow more motion without him having to worry about long-time creasing unlike blazers and they pair well with his long forearms when he rolls up the sleeves. Despite that, he kinda feels iffy about sweaters. He wants to be perceived as strong, noble-born and genteel but some sweaters make him feel like he’s too ‘friendly’ if they’re too oversized. Loves the textures on them though; he has a textile thing going on.
He likes to showcase the thin veins on his forearms because he thinks that they’re a silent reminder of how noble he is because he doesn’t have a single blemish on his forearms and hands.
In the summer blazing days, he opts for a dress shirt and polos. If Reiji is scorching, he’ll unbutton two buttons from the top when he’s wearing a silk-crafted dress shirt and you can really see his defined collarbones pop out.
He’s not above wearing a T-Shirt but it’s not really… a ‘T-Shirt’.
Even though it has all the classifications of a T-Shirt, it looks way too fancy to be one from how the hems are carefully measured to make his biceps look fuller and how there’s no unnecessary excess waste in the collar so it doesn’t look baggy on him.
Speaking of baggy, he dislikes anything that doesn't fit around his body. It makes him look TOO casual and lax. He wants to present himself as a man of high status so you’ll never catch Reiji wearing a hoodie, baggy cargo pants or sneakers of any kind.
Tucks in his dress shirts/polos/t-shirts to his pants.
The accessories Reiji wears are pocket squares, heritage watches and a family ring with the crest of the Sakamaki lineage on it. He doesn’t like watches like Casio and prefers traditional watches to mechanical ones because it boosts his superiority complex. He seldom wears pocket squares because they waste his time. He can’t handle folding an intricate pocket square every single time he heads out so it’s reserved for the big formal events he has to go to.
The family ring is worn on his thumb or index finger; but not on his pinky finger. He wants the ring to be noticed so the more it’s visible and in view of everyone around him, the better. Another ring he wears has a sangria-colored ruby that resembles the color of his eyes. Reiji was insecure of his features growing up since Shu was a perfect mirror of Beatrix and it made him further feel like an outcast. So him wearing a ring that showcases his deepest insecurity is a powermove on his part.
If he’s baking or doing something that could dirty his glasses, he’ll fold and place them in the rim of his collar. He hasn’t put the pieces that it’s quite hot when he does so.
His shoes are all vintage leather dress shoes. Think of Oxfords, Loafers and La Milanos.
Has considered buying Doc Martens but resisted since it was too “mainstream” for a guy like him. Like Shu, he also has leather loafers but only wears them inside the house. They're WAYYY pricer than Shu's pair just to rub in the salt.
Don’t ask how he got the money to buy them.
If he’s feeling scandalous, he’ll wear polos that wrap around the upper portion of his bicep to expose more skin. Man has the mentality of a nun so you have to understand that if something is traditionally worn, all it takes is exposing two-three centimeters more of clothing. Don’t let him see you exposing your ankles or calves if you’re wearing a flowy dress blouse.
Doesn’t like thick belts. He’ll go for thin or no belts at all since making a thick belt ruins the “flow” of his outfit since your eyes have to do a double take to register it.
His legs are LONG and the dress pants he wears purposely have this illusion that they’re longer than they seem to be.
You’ll NEVER EVER catch this man wearing a satin shiny tie. Reiji hates them with a burning passion because they look cheap. Matte ties have his heart.
Doesn’t wear denim jeans. He thinks they look tacky and that they’re uncomfortable. WILL HOWEVER go to UNIQLO and buy chinos on sale. Man’s already broken the bank for a pair of shoes so anything on sale is a must-have from UNIQLO. He also shops for his coats here.
Loops scarves around his neck one time and only one time. He's read before that depending on the thickness and length of the scarf, it can either elongate or shorten your torso.
Religiously follows Korean fashion advice.
Don't be fooled by how modest and unassuming this man is: if he wants to be slutted out, he will. He's gonna purposely wear things that are 'indecent' in his standards such as unbuttoning his dress shirt while looking into you just so he can have another reason to punish you. 100% will use it against you. Don't be fooled y'all
(sorry if this was OOC, this man was so hard to write for 👁💧💧👁
