Another picture that was apart of our Apt growing up. It was in my older cousins room. I did not like the colors on this picture. Then my aunt had a painted purple headboard & dresser that just didn’t match with this. She gave it to my other Aunt & this was at her house but she gotten rid of it after she redecorated.

We met soo many people on our Family & Friends Carnival Cruise back in 03. It was my Bestfriends family of 5, One of her other friends family of 4 + 1 (sons Bestfriend) & Then my family both Aunts, my cousin & I. We flew from Chicago to stay in New Orleans a night to board the cruise ship. It was soo many people of all different backgrounds & we lived at the teen club. We met this sister & brother 1st from New Jersey Kandice & Melvin Jones, then it was the 3 girls from Oklahoma, a girl from New Orleans that asked why does my eyebrows look mean & a few other people we’d see around. Kandice & Melvin we were closer too & all of the girls at the club thought he was Fine. Even a fight happened over him! That cruise was fun. I still have the # she gave to keep in contact from all those years ago in my picture box. I tried adding them on MySpace & reconnecting but don’t think they remembered us.

I just woken up to terrible news. My fav Aunt Tracy passed away 😢 & I can’t even process this. When we flew back home to Chicago in Jan we went to go see her in the nursing home that was keeping her & she didn’t want me to leave. I honestly thought she was going to be able to go home after they did her surgery whatever else they needed to do for her. I just can’t believe this. I was just thinking about calling her & went to put in my hoodie& said my hoodie smells like Tracy (Johnson’s Baby Magic Lotion). Lately our family can’t catch a break & we never have these things happening My Grandma, Tracy’s Husband Teddy, Uncle Buzzy & My Cousin Bernadette all very close family are gone.

Omg! I gotten these out of the prize bag at my 8th Birthday ‘95. I was sneaky & kept going back until I got anything similar to Littlest PetShop. These cats here were called “My Precious Littlest PetShop” a knockoff by Jasman. I remember these little ugly cats I liked the black & the orange ones the best. I actually may still have the bed; I traded a girl (Cristan Gordon) in 2nd grade these cats for her white Barbie dog. I loved Littlest PetShop playsets & that’s all I wanted. I had gotten about 3 sets at my BDay all cats because I loved cats growing up.

I remember going with my Aunt to some clinic & seeing this toy but it was only the tree part. We weren’t there long & never seen this toy before growing up. Yesterday I randomly came across it online & it now makes sense because this toy was made in 1975 years before I was born & it was the 90s when I saw it at the clinic.

Justice,IL is where I grew up. My family always made it seem like it was far away from Chicago. As a kid I was Chicago, Homewood, Joliet (I hated Joliet) & of course Justice & surrounding towns Hickory Hills, Bridgeview of where I grew up.

A little drama:

So this is one of my Aunts poker friends Granddaughter (Shalethiah) There was 2 of them (Kiana & Shalethiah) I’ve known them ever since I was about 3yrs old but only would see them when my Aunt would go to play poker. These girls were older than me & always had it out for me; Although I will say Kiana was a little nicer & was my favorite she liked to make dance routines (I loved to dance) but I was blind to the sneaky things she’d do. Shalethia was always waiting to get me in trouble for any little thing knowing how strict my Aunt was she didn’t care… Through ages 10/11yrs my Aunt & older cousin would have them come stay over sometimes on weekends. As soon as they would leave they would tell on me for the smallest things or makeup extreme lies having my younger cousins (the ones I didn’t get along with) co-sign. Next thing you know I was getting Beat by my Aunt or older cousin either the same day or after they’ve taken them back home. They would also tell on my secret stash of Barbies that I wasn’t allowed to have; even sometimes when I wasn’t home, my Aunt would raid my room either throwing my stuff away or giving it to my cousins (her grandkids) but never gave them to my cousin who I actually got most of the stuff from. Even to this day well not really because I do not have any contact besides them on Facebook now. Back in 2008/09 Kiana I reconnected with through MySpace. I found out she is a lesbian which shocked me because she was boy crazy growing up & always judged anything I did claiming her & her sister were trying to “help me”. She was also nonchalant to a lot of the things she did. I soon cut ties with her after she used me for rides & money she said she’d pay me back & never did. Plus she’d call to tell me about all her drama but at the same time get info on my personal life which I would never speak on to her or her sister.

Now this post about the Nintendo pissed me off because it was a time thay came over in early 99’. They stole my games the ones I played the most. Zombies Ate My Neighbors & Donkey Kong. It could’ve been more but I don’t remember? Everybody knows I had those games since 1995 & was the only 2 I played the most. So I remember my Aunts boyfriends took me over to his sisters who happened to live in a building across the street from their building & I asked to go over there to see if they were home. I rung the bell & their mom came down; I told her that they had my games & their mom acted like I was lying. Needless to say I never got my games back & they continued to come around until the early 2000s. I lost contact with them until 2008 when I reconnected with Kiana through MySpace & soon went to Facebook that’s when Shalethiah added me.

Everytime I see a couch with this pattern I always remember our living room set. Ours was black with this pattern but smaller print. The material was smooth almost silky.
