Yes! Is social media making people stupid/terrible, or is there a reliable percentage of stupid/terrible people that social media merely exposes as unequivocally stupid/terrible.

It's possible that humans have always been prone to obnoxious micro-identity fixations. Maybe there was always self-righteous self-absorbed navel gazers and they are not a product of social media. Social media allows us to observe a larger data set of human behavior than we've ever observed in the past. And social media does cause some of our modern behaviors but not all of them.

i found out recently that the guy who invented love languages was a sexist conservative who basically did it so he could tell his wife "see, your love language is acts of service so you can keep doing all the dishes, and my love language is physical touch so i just show love by having sex with you" men are lame as fuck!!!

There is nothing enlightened or progressive about ancient cultures being inclusive of eunuchs/effeminate men or allowing certain men to be grouped with women. Femininity was never about womanhood, it was always non-masculinity. A man can be degraded to femininity, but a woman, seen as naturally inferior scum, can never rectify her status.
