Miss Daisy's leggies. She had trail boots on the fronts that had tread on them. After a long v nice trail ride we were at the wash bay and she spooked and pulled back. As she ran back she stood on herself and tore all down her back legs. The tread on the boots made good work of her skin. One of them was really deep and wouldn't stop bleeding but because it was right over a joint it couldn't be stitched so we left it and let it granulate over.

Shes still not back in work yet after almost a month but we'll get there.

The girls and I spent a bit of April up on a trail riding holiday. Spent some time on a property that backed onto the forest. It was beautiful and we got some good miles under our belt (until Daisy hurt herself and we had to go home). But it was nice while it lasted.
