Ok back to this little shit.

This thing causes me pain. I hated it, i literally name it “I hate fruit”.

Right onto the analysis

As you can see I have 2 versions black and white and coloured. Same as the previous drawing I posted. Draw roughly first, fix lines next, start adding details (as you can see i didn’t add any table shadows so now its a floating fruit) Now the colouring, the black and white started as shading the main mango first adding the light spots?(where the light is on the mango) I am rather happy with the black and white painting, you can see the difference in the mango slices, i added all the light spots, the cubed?(can i call it that?) mango. The black and white i was happy with (even though its floating) The coloured shit that it is i forgot or didnt differentiated the colours enough. It looks good but i left out too many factors. I started as with the main red colour and i added the lighter colour (in the light spot) The slices (if you look closely) are different colours but only barely, the cubed bit is not as neat as i would of like but its probably turned out they way i wanted it to the most.

Alright, lets get started. So I had to draw an object and it had to look drawn (this was done in photoshop)

I had a photo that I was drawing from and i was looking at the actual thing, sadly the photo and the actual thing were different, seeing as i started it on one day and finished it on another (dont do that its bad)

There are many steps to drawing something, the first draft should just be the basics there shouldn’t be any details. As you add layers, you should try and fix the lines to make it more neat, once all the lines are nice, straight(you don’t have to be) and kinda look like your object. Add the details (in the actual image the dragon has a sheen to it that’s why i didn’t make it fully a dark grey) once i got all of my details (add some background detail here and there so it doesn’t look like its floating) Shading is next. I had some odd light with actual light and artificial light, I will say drawing my desk is hard, adding shadows is a bit difficult but you get there eventually. Once everything is done, you have your details, shading, and you object drawn neatly, now go back and fix minor things small details as such.
