Spent my time last weekend when I should’ve been reading TSC to avoid spoilers actually being talked into watching all 5 Twilight movies with my mother… I have 4 thoughts about this

1) yo these bitches are strange as fuck there’s no way Bella was the first person to figure out that they’re vampires

2) my brother in Christ you could not catch me in any of these scenarios because again, strange. Bella is a better person than me cause I would’ve seen them walk in the first day of school and actually followed the advice of just leave them alone because they’re all weird af

3) I love Jasper Hale. Legitimately I have never seen a creature look so genuinely uncomfortable at every moment and I think that’s hilarious. That man was the first person I saw in every scene he was in because he looks so awkward all the time. The only times I can recall him looking remotely comfortable were when he was dancing at the wedding and his fight with Alice, even the rest of the training montage thing he just looked uncomfortable and I love that

4) I really wish Laurent didn’t die. He was serving so much cunt they had to kill him off and that’s just really sad

As someone who is currently very much in academia and has been for a minute now, this is just academia

This semester I am legitimately taking a class with a tenured professor about medieval literature and every time a phallic symbol pops up in something he has us read for class he will read the section out loud and go “and what [insert whatever author] is talking about here is- everybody say it with me- a penis”

a new concept: idiot academia

where u have book smarts but have absolutely no common sense

#it’s funnier because that class is not in the English building it’s in the business building #also that lecture hall happens to be directly below the dean of the business college’s office… #the poor man has to hear approximately 30 people say the word penis probably about 3 times a week #but fr tho I have so many stories about that professor cause he’s funny as fuck
