Author Comment: Now, I know this definitely isn't how an escaped giraffe would be handled but it's kind of hard to find any examples of how it WOULD be handled. All I could find was an escaped baby giraffe. So, sadly, all you get is this dumb idiot putting his arms out in front of a grown-ass giraffe. I was going to add a cop on a horse but there wasn't any room. Maybe in the next few pages I can.

Author Comment: This was a fun cover to make, even if it was really simple. I have mixed feelings about this chapter, as I like the premise but I'm also a little disappointed in how I wrote it because it definitely comes off as filler and doesn't have a lot of action. I feel like I could have pushed it more but I just wasn't able to because everything is constrained to this one chapter, and I didn't have enough content to warrant a whole second chapter for it.
