FERAL LUKE FERAL LUKE-
Ref for drawing on the left in the first picture!
[ID: two canvases of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader from Star Wars.
First canvas: the drawing on the left, Luke is walking to the left, and looking to the right. He has his lightsaber in his right, gloved hand, but it isnāt opened. Heās smirking and says, āsurprise, bitch. I bet you thought youād seen the last of me.ā The drawing on the right, Luke is facing away, except for his head. Heās looking to the left with a big smile and swinging his lightsaber, yelling, āIām a bad bitch, you canāt kill me!ā
Second canvas: a four panel comic. Panel 1, Darth Vader is looking to the right and says to Luke, āI see youā¦ got a new handā¦ā Panel 2, Luke is stunned, but has the beginning of a smile on his face. Wide-eyed, he says, āoh, you noticed! Want a closer look??ā Panel 3, Luke is in the same position, except now his smile is gone, replaced with a loud frown. His eyes are now yellow/orange and he has his right middle finger up. Panel 4, Luke has his middle finger in Darth Vaderās face. Vader is melting. Luke keeps questioning him, ādo you see it? How about now? What about now DAD?ā And Vader responds with a weak āI see it.ā/ END ID]

Nobody asked, so: For me, the hardest scene to stomach in all of Star Wars, is the night where Anakin killed everyone in the Tusken camp.
Not because Anakin killed a bunch of ppl, I have no issue pinning that on him, but because I know Tuskens are a racist and crude caricature of indeginous ppl, both from the Middle East and the Fiji islands.
I can't imagine Tusken ppl kidnapping and torturing a random woman for no reason? And in front of their kids?
From where I stand, Tusken ppl are angry at the outsiders, especially anyone dealing with the Hutts. There's that whole part about how sacret water and certain wells are to them. And how basically outsiders don't give a shit so they destroy or build over important landmarks (#relatable frustration). Letting Krayt dragons and weird creatures loose, in the process. So of course they're angry. But they aren't savages??? They're just trying to keep their lands safe.
On the other hand, I can totally imagine Gardulla Hutt finding out that Shmi was freed, and thinking she's setting a bad example for other slaves. I can imagine Gardula, a gangster, sending her ppl after Shmi. And I can also imagine that Gardulla's ppl wouldn't care or know about Tusken people's territories. So if they attacked Shmi at the wrong place, it's likely the Tuskens would've fought them off.
If Cliegg arrived there late, he would've probably assumed the Tusken ppl took Shmi to kill her. When really, they just took her to mend her wounds.
Idk, that scene needs to be remade. The Tuskens' clothes should be redesigned. There's so much crap in there............
I've heard there's a version of the story where the Tusken ppl attacked because it was a moisture farm but it still doesn't explain the torture stuff. It's too weird and I don't like it. I don't even trust that it was written in good faith....

Six months ago, on the weekend of 7 October, I planned to go to the beach and swim with my friends in the sea. I lived by the beach and would go for a walk there most days to get fresh air. I also used to go to the gym every morning. Regardless of the 17 years of Israelās blockade, I still felt some kind of security: I had my job, my home, my family, and I took care of my food and my health.
Instead, that weekend in October, I woke up to the sounds of bombs. I went straight to the market to get food and basic essentials ā I knew a war would be starting soon. I was only thinking about the coming days.
For 200 days in Gaza, Iāve never felt safe or secure. When I go to sleep, I know that I might not wake up the next morning. My entire life has changed since October, and it will never be the same. Today, I donāt do a single thing I used to. Now, the only thing I have is my work. I constantly worry about those around me and try to take care of them.
As a parent of two children, the worst feeling was knowing I cannot protect them. They can be killed at any time, and there is nothing I can do it about it. Before the war, I felt that I was the provider and protector of my family. Now, I just feel so powerless.I cannot secure the basic needs for me and family, like food, or gas for cooking. For the longest time in my life, I havenāt been able to eat any meat. I have lost around 13kg, I look like a completely different person. Any food that is available here is now too expensive.
Finding transport in Gaza is impossible and there is no fuel available, so people canāt reach their families. Iāve lost so many loved ones. My best friend was killed. Another of my close friends was killed, along with his whole family. My friends who I used to see every day are all gone.

Home. (I see you)
Checking and cleaning gear and recallibrating things. Saving space by hanging everything (Also makes it easier to locate) Window has a solid shutter that can be locked into place.
Chirrut isĀ recallibrating his echo box using Baze as a distance judge.
Also- heās been Parked in that corner til everything has been cleaned and put back together. Heās not clumsy (far from it)- but Baze canāt be bothered to field him when the gunās scattered across the whole floor of the room and most of the bed. Itās much more for Bazeās peace of mind about his gun than Chirrut faceplanting if he trips.

I think we're starting to dilute the meaning of "terminally online". Like, no, it's not terminally online to have eccentric opinions about a popular TV show ā people like that existed before "online" was a thing. Unless we're talking at least an "it's homophobic for gay furries to have rat fursonas because they're depicting gay people as vermin", the onlineness falls well short of terminal.
