No Brian, you don’t get to vote all your life for the conservative party, who systematically have ruined the environment and fought AGAINST LGTBQA+ rights, criminalized black people and encouraged xenophobia; only to tell us we should care more about the environment than our lives and rights being threatened.

Or should I shut up now because I’m ‘assailing’ you from the real problems? You are the rich influential white man. Go Fix it! While letting us focus in PEACE on our fight against being fucking murdered for sleeping in our own beds or walking down the streets for being black. Being killed by the virus in much higher numbers. Living in poverty, because we were made slaves in white society. and then were never given the same opportunities as white people. Put in a place of no social mobility, labeled as black, dumb and slow and criminals. Not getting access to adequate healthcare. Not getting postivie representation in the media. Being seen and made a criminal. To have entire laws based on criminalizing you.

Have I assailed you from climate change because for a critical time in history, we wanted you to give a shit?

Is it really that terribly hard to listen when black people ask you to stand by them when they fight for the human rights they deserve? Does this really assaile you from caring about the environment? Does it?

Black lives matter. Injustices against black people need to end. If there weren’t injustices against black people, latin americans, africans, asians, native americans (and so many more people), there would be a lot less poverty. There would be a lot less environmental damage.

Tell me how you want to fix the climate without helping people out of poverty. Tell me how you want to fix the climate while people are scraping at the bottom of the barrel. Tell me how you want to fix the environment without adequate education.

Do you think people who are barely getting by, are physically able to do anything for the environment?
