Seth: "I am sorry for bringing you back, for going against what you asked."
Falenarel: "Do not apologise... thanks to you, I am free."

[OC] Falenarel
Star of the night sea (corrupted form)
My D&D character Falenarel died within corrupted mists that rapidly affected her body after her passing. It took over an hour to complete the ritual that brought her back, but by then her body had been fully engulfed by it.
The effects are still mostly unknown to us - but this is here to stay

can you tell us more about ur dnd characters? I love their designs so much
Falenarel is a Starling, one of many sentient fragments of stardust created by a god named Weaver of Fate to help them observe the Multiverse and protect its destined timeline. Starlings are sent to different places in the galaxy and are given a strong birth-vision to facilitate their purpose at their set destination.
Falenarel, however, died in a tragic incident and had to be brought back at the cost of losing her memories. She spent hundreds of years regenerating in a sacred grove and eventually awoke a blank slate.
Walking aimlessly through the lands of Tarrow, at her side only her trusted companion Farvo - a copper dragon wyrmling, She eventually met a group of adventurers that call themselves "the Chainbreakers", who pointed out to her that not only does she seem to have a large history gap of roughly 200 years, but also that her body seems to be growing at a rapid speed.
They pointed out the strange tattoo on her face, the divine magic she was able to wield and the odd blades that kept appearing out of her wrists. With their help and guidance she realised that, indeed, she had no idea who she was and set out to find out.
She recently regained those memories and found out that not only were her sisters responsible for her death, but also that her birth-vision of a man in Golden Armour reviving the plantlife on a desolate planet was tied to an individual she was already travelling with, wondering if deep down she tagged along because her subconscious knew he was special, wondering if she was always meant to forget and walk the path of hardship and loneliness so she could eventually find her way to him and face the dangers that are ahead.
---
Falenarel has since reestablished a connection with her mother, the Weaver of Fate, Fal rescued one of her sisters (the very one that took her life) from the clutches of evil and returned her back to the path of gold.
Fal accepted the task to make her chosen companion a champion of the Weaver so that together they could finally return to his home & bring back life to it. She has grown in height by an incredible amount and remembered her sword of pure starlight - a 60-foot-long sword that cuts through any foe with ease.
She has also started to see the strands of fate & gained the ability to manipulate them, her divinity coming through more and more.
