I used a resize spell while playing with my mom yesterday. I got even taller. Her first and only question was if she could still pick me up.

4-13-21

Yes, I am alive, and yes I am posted something I drafted over a week ago, but shhhh, let’s not comment on that.

Today there were Vault Quests, so I started my day with a Vault run! 

It’s so much better to run it now because of all the candles added in the Chevron System Update (Daily Light is the official name, I believe?), and I actually really enjoy running it now!

Of course, surprise to no one, I got attached to one of the people that had been running with me. We’d interacted a lot, and ended the run with an emote conversation (as I always say, and intense game of charades), so when we both arrived back in home, well....

My constellation is one star brighter now. We did a little twinning, and then they went offline. They’d barely been gone when my oldest Sky friend came online! She’s been busy, and doesn’t get on as much as she used to (even had to leave completely for a few months), so we hadn’t seen each other in ages.

I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned her before, but a quick search of my blog shows I’ve at least never said her name, so I’m just going to call her Sunflower. She was up really late, but wanted to get a few quests done, so I helped her out by return-shrine-ing back to the top of vault and having her join me! Much quicker than doing a full run to get there.

Eventually, she did have to go, because she had to wake up early, but it was nice seeing her.

I did a few more candle runs, and decided to stop here for some reason.

Then I faced the trials. I wanted to do all of them, having done Fire Trial again the other day. I’d gone through Eden, and wanted my eleventh star back after a few months without it, so Trials it was! (Obviously, from this point on, there will be spoilers for the Trials. Water is pretty basic though, and easily accessible, so these ones shouldn’t be too spoiler-y? I hope?)

Firstly, I changed outfits, because I’ve learned my lessons on doing the trials as a chibi. :,)

I didn’t take too many pictures in the Trials, but I have highlights and a handful of dramatic shots.

This image was in the drafts, so I guess I was chilling in home for a moment after finishing the Trials.

I got off for a while, but got back on later to play with my mom! She doesn’t look much like a moth anymore, but she’s very happy with her new Bloom cosmetics.

We had some fun, but eventually we ran out of quests and Seasonal things, so she needed a moment to decide what to do.

She mentioned not being able to skate anymore, so I decided to bring her to Village of Dreams! 

We explored the village again, since she hadn’t been back since the season ended. She wanted to race down the hill with me, though ‘race’ implies we were competing. We weren’t, we were holding hands.

After that, we skated around on the main rink for a while, and had fun with the new emotes (mainly marching).

A moth showed up, and my mom was quick to ask for reminders on how to friend people. Going off the pictures, apparently it took a staring contest to impart the knowledge, haha!

The moth took off to explore, as moths do, so we had some fun being dragged around the village again before they disappeared and Mom took it as a sign to log off.

Overall, an eventful and productive day on sky!

2-2-21

I’m back! I was planning on doing posts on all the days I missed, but I realized that was putting unnecessary pressure on myself. I may do some large drops of old photos, but for now, I just want to be back up and running!

I had a fairly uneventful candle run with Theo going through Prairie. I did get a chance to fully burn the plant in sanctuary for the first time, so that was cool!

From there we took a break for a bit, and when we got on to complete our runs again, one of my sky friends was online! I hadn’t seen them in ages, and we don’t speak the same language, but we had some fun doing emotes and being silly together.

Pretty sure one of their friends was the one playing the piano, and I was in awe because whoever it was was playing ‘Do You Hear The People Sing?’ from Le Mis perfectly. It was awesome.

Not sure if this was their piano friend, but me and this cauliflower sky kid had a blast together. They were a lightseekers vet! I friended them.

Theo finally got back on, and we continued with our candle runs! We ran into a silly glitch early on when he was afk for a bit.

Later we found of his friends’ boats, and we took a moment to admire the boats in general. I told him about when they came and how he can get boats. They just look so precious. 🥺

At this point I didn’t take anymore pictures?? So thank you to Theo for providing all pictures shown from this point on!!

Obviously after forest we went to Valley, and I love this picture where my hair is going crazy?? It’s so wonderful??? Cherished.

Before we did the second half of Valley, we stopped in vault quick to make sure we got the dailies done in time. I don’t know if it was my connection or his, but we were getting server split like mad, so we tried our best to stay connected.

I found a new outfit I like, and had fun running around in it!

I also had some fun playing my Prophecy drum, and actually tried out all the music sheets for once. I tried out a few different instruments, before I went oobing into a void to play my pan flute.

The void was fine until suddenly it all went dark and I was completely blind, so I went home when it became clear no amount of emotes was going to let me see.

I also spent today collecting more clips for my sky project! It’s coming along nicely.

I’m going to go back and start adding cuts to the longer posts to make scrolling easier on this blog, haha. Also going to start tagging posts with months and years.

Hello beautifuls!! I spent the early parts of today’s sky time collecting clips for a project of mine! I’ve made a sky amv before, and now I’m making another! No spoilers though!

After most of that was done, I did a prairie run. In the elevator, it was one of those times where people sort of trickle in, so we were all kind of interacting quietly. Lighting up, bowing, silly emotes, that sort of stuff. When the final person came I got a moment to appreciate the eclectic group we had and it made me smile. It just felt so Sky. I took a lot of pictures because it made me happy.

I took a break for a while, but then Theo needed help finding the purple light, and that turned into oobing.

When we went home, we ended up playing around on our instruments.

We played a few rounds of hide and seek, then went to Prarie’s social space to play hide and seek there. It didn’t take long for that to turn into oob-ing as well (also, I changed my outfit, featuring choices by Theo). We glitched under the ground and found a little cave to play in.

We ended up playing a few more rounds of hide and seek in the Village of Dreams, and then I went to bed.

1-15-21

[A couple days late but here we are!] Today was fun! I got a chance to interact with an old sky friend I’d made agessss ago! We finally unlocked stuff past handhold (including chat) and got a chance to catch up. We’d met in ark messing with the krill and it was fun to see them again!

I also got piggyback with Theo! (One of my moth friends was nearby, so they’re in the pic too)

Later, while completing my dailies, I was kind of running with a random sky kid that I didn’t know. They were super cool, and when we were both about done with the river area, I decided I couldn’t deal with a lost star, so I offered them a candle. They accepted!! 

(Lost stars are what I call sky kids that you meet and interact with, that you love a whole lot, but for whatever reason, you don’t become friends and then they’re just... lost to the universe).

We stuck together for the rest of the forest run!! I was leading, but they would bring out their umbrella, or help with two-player things and such. On our way out of Sunny Forest, we met another sky kid. They were also really cool, and emoted with us a lot.

They helped out on the quests a little, and waited to free the manta until we were there. And then we went our separate ways so I met a lost star after all. Wherever you are, random stranger, I love you!

That was mostly it. We completed our forest run, and they were really sweet and emoted at me a bunch. They stuck around at home to see me try on my new hair (Spinning Mentor), and clapped for me. I did yawn emote a few times, they nodded, and that was that.

Oh, bonus! Given that we all desperately want sky kids in skirts, here’s a silly picture were it (sort of) looks like my cape is a skirt on them!

I helped Theo do the enchantment quests today, but I forgot to get pictures. Besides that, I went on a few candle runs and had fun with butterflies in forest.

Overall, an uneventful day. (Assuming my memory isn’t lying to me).
