Treech x Fem! Tribute! Reader (romantic hurt comfort) Summary: Treech is reaped alongside fem! Reader, but she's far too sorrowful to pay attention to much else other than becoming a tribute. Contains: mention of death, murder, hurt/comfort (reader being comforted), hints at su1cide (about unnamed Seven victor), hints at panic attacks (towards unnamed victor). Word count: 5.4k ⋆𐙚₊˚⊹ ᡣ𐭩
The reaping for the tenth Hunger Games had been another shitshow, as had every year since the first.
All the boys lined up on their side, the girls the other. Treech had been called and he went to the podium reluctantly, no matter if his face showed that or not. But you had brought the District some attention. Your name had been called at the reaping and almost immediately other girls within nearby lines ran to hold you close and sob.
It wasn’t until their tears flowed that yours did too. Seconds after you felt their hands grasping at your clothes, grabbing at anything that could keep you close, your eyes had watered too and your wails didn’t sound too different to your friends’.
The entwined bodies were pulled from each other rather harshly, finally showing your figure to the Capital citizens, the crowd, and Treech who you truly were. You were brought next to him and shown off for District Seven’s tenth Hunger Games tributes.
And now as you stood at the train station, two peacekeepers standing besides you both, it was awkward. The silence was sickening, the skin around your tearful eyes having grown sensitive from you constantly wiping them.
Treech didn’t worry about that though, he was too worried about what could happen to both you and him while in the Capital and the arena. The idea of his death wasn’t something he wished to get to so soon. The same could be said for you. He knew so little about you but he had enough empathy to understand that you felt the same, more physically too.
Treech looked over at you, the tears having partially dried into a shine around your cheeks. You occupied yourself with picking at your fingers or feeling at the cloth of your clothes. He couldn't help gazing at you, looking at the fabric of your clothes, seeing the intricate details on the cloth. It made him think of the browns and vague blues of his attire, having felt slightly underwhelming next to you. It was true to an extent, his lifeless reaction to his name call probably made him seem underwhelming too.
A rust-colored cattle car pulls into the station. Treech looks at it with uncertainty. Not many animals were ever brought to the district, so it was either for animal meat or for you both. He had heard the Capital brought the tributes in cattle cars, so it was likely for you both. Which was quickly proven correct.
The door is thrown open by a nearby peacekeeper. You crooned your head to look into the car, seeing the slightly dirty hay sitting on the wood flooring. Treech's lips drew into a line while his nose scrunching from the smell. It smelled disgusting, even as far as you both were from the train.
Treech looked over at you, wondering how you felt about the situation and the train car entirely. His questions were quickly answered as your hand went to your face and pinched your nostrils closed, your expression forming into one of displeasure. Treech’s mind went to your clothes and the possibility they would get dirty and ruined from the disgustingness from the car.
The peacekeepers beside you pushed you both forward towards the cattle car. Their demand was met with reluctance from both you and Treech but you went along anyway. He climbed onto the train, his nose wrinkling at the smell of the train car. Either way, he turns back to you to help you up. His hand took yours gently, hoping you wouldn't see him as a possible threat, now or in the arena.
You gratefully took his hand but didn’t vocally thank him, simply giving him a look. A brighter look than you would have given anyone else. You swiped your shoe over the hay, moving the beige colored grass out of your way once you sat on the wood floor. Treech does something similar but sits across the cattle car, not trying to get near you.
The peacekeepers closed the doors harshly, causing both you and Treech to jump a bit. He sighed and leaned against the metal walling. Hoping to calm his heart, his fingers tracing the details on his palm, his fingertips lightly brushing between creases and over the sores from work brought a mindless feeling to him. He had done something similar when he was in school, his mind having naturally wandered off to other places as he traced the delicate intricacies of his palm then the veins on his hand.
Your legs were close to your chest, curling your body to comfort yourself. Treech didn’t try comforting you, he simply didn’t know what to do. He’s comforted people before but not in situations like this. When he was young, he would comfort his friends when they got hurt but this was a different kind of hurt. This was worse than Treech thought he could ever comfort you through. So he didn’t try. But he’d have to talk to you at some point.
“You’re in my math class, right?” Treech asked, hoping to break the ice. Your eyes trail to him as you try stifling your sniffles, which was a failure. “I might have gotten you mixed up but you look very familiar.”
You stare at him, sniffling before nodding. “I could say the same for you,” You mutter and turn your head down to your hands. “Ms. Ecordium, yes?” He nods with a slight smile.
“Yep,” he mumbles awkwardly and looks down at his hands. You nod, wait several seconds before going back to looking out the crack in the wall. The sunlight shines from your forehead to your bottom lip, covering your skin in the soft golden glow.
The silence was brought back with the familiar awkwardness from the train station. Treech glanced at you again, seeing the movements of shadows over your cheek, showing the train slowly picking up speed.
He sighs, setting his hat near him as he laid down. Treech’s thoughts were plagued with what could be in the arena, how he would hold up with the other tributes who were possibly stronger than him. But he eventually closed his eyes, the last thing he sees is you sitting in the corner, looking out the crack in the wall.
♡♡♡
It was roughly 6:30 at night when Wovey and Bobbin, the District Eight tributes, had been brought to the same train car. Bobbin didn’t try speaking to you or Treech’s sleeping body, Wovey did though. It was only a small “hello” and a wave that had been made in your direction, which you had done back out of politeness.
The sun had finally set and Wovey and Bobbin curled up in their pile of hay, which had been gathered by the both of them. You offered to help but Bobbin said they could do it on their own, leaving you to grovel in your moonlight. Now, they slept, Wovey’s blonde hair that had been pulled from the bun to keep her comfortable, the hairband around her wrist. Her head rested on Bobbin’s arm while they slept.
The night had grown quiet, the only sound filling the night sky was the screeching train rails and the soft snoring coming from the Eight tributes and Treech. The train car rocked lazily though it moved hastily across the countryside. Your tears had dried hours prior when you couldn’t produce any more tears, leaving just soreness from constantly wiping the diluted water from your cheeks.
The idea of you never getting back home and seeing your friends again plagued your mind. You couldn’t think of anything but their cries as they held you close, pleading that you wouldn’t leave. And there was a possibility you would never go home, your fate being held in another tribute's palms, their blood covered hands.
Treech gradually opened his eyes, the darkened car only lit by the small cracks of moonlight shining down on the countryside. He sat up begrudgingly, his body rocking back and forth just as the train car did.
He lazily reached into his pocket, his arm slightly sore from sleeping on it. He pulled out the silver pocket watch, reading 11:52 PM, and sighed. It had been a long while that he had slept, it’s unlikely that he would sleep for the rest of the night. Treech ran his fingers gently through his hair, trying to fix himself just a little. His eyes eventually adjusted to the darkness.
Treech stared at you as you sat in your corner, curled up in a ball, trying to comfort yourself the best you could.
“(Y/n)? Are you crying again?” Treech asked then paused, pressing his lips into a line, realizing how mean he might have sounded. But thankfully you didn’t consider crying more at his question. Instead, you nodded.
“Yeah,” you answer and look away, back through the crack in the wooden wall, watching the moon again. The silver shined onto your skin, showing the layer of tears left untouched by your hand.
Treech’s mind immediately thought you were embarrassed, why else would you look away so quickly? He pursed his lips, looking around at the hay that surrounded his body, his hat on the gold grass. “You don’t have to be embarrassed about that,” he stated simply, rubbing his eyes.
You look back at him again and shake your head. The back of your palm wiped the newfound tears. “No, I’m not embarrassed,” you assure and sigh, which was interrupted by a hiccup. “I just keep crying.”
Treech’s eyes trail to Wovey and Bobbin who sleep soundly in their pile of hay, their bodies still but full of life. He looks back at you again and nods. “I get that,” he mutters awkwardly, not knowing what else to say.
Your tears sparkled on your skin from the silver moon grazing over the sky. Treech’s dark eyes looked down at yours as you sobbed. And it dawned on him, he didn’t think too much about going back to District Seven. He hadn’t shed a tear while waiting for or on the train. Maybe it was just how quickly he had accepted his demise or how his friends and family didn’t react either. It didn’t matter now.
“Do you… um,” Treech hesitates, looking down at his hands. “Hold you? I meant, do you want me to hold you?”
You stare at him silently, thinking about his offer. But it didn’t take too much time to finally have an answer.
It only took a matter of seconds for you to crawl into his arms, laying your head on his chest, your arms wrapped tightly around him. The softness of your clothes and the tightness of your hold reminded Treech too much of home. It almost comforted him too. Knowing your arms were open to him just as much as his to you was enough.
“I don’t want to die!” You sobbed and curled into yourself more, which Treech didn’t think was possible. His arms tightened around you, pulling you to his shoulder, which you accepted quickly. The tip of your nose poked over the muscle between his shoulder and neck.
Treech awkwardly sat with you, keeping you in his arms, caged around your trembling body. He no longer had to think of comforting things to say.
“You won’t die,” Treech assures and hesitantly pets your head, his breath delicately touching your cheek. It helped you slightly, but it brought in the idea of his death. As little as you knew him, it still meant a lot for him to stay alive.
You didn’t say anything for a long while, just keeping close to Treech and making sure to calm your breathing, which was only interrupted by sniffles and hiccups.
“You’ll go home to your family,” Treech muttered, the joint of his pointer finger gently rubbing your cheek. “And they’ll have a nice dinner for you, and they’ll celebrate that you're home.”
Now, Treech didn’t know if that was true at all. He didn’t know what your family life was like. For all he knew, he was saying what he wanted when he possibly got home. He wanted a celebration for his victory, though it’s rarely ever a victory.
There was only one victor from Seven he knew of, and it wasn’t pretty. A seventeen-year-old girl came back to the District a victor but only stayed for four months before she died. She had several of those… fear filled moment when she smelt something she couldn’t stand anymore. And it didn’t take her too long to no longer take it.
No one knew about the other Districts, if they had something similar with their victors. It was mostly a prayer that neither of you would succumb to something similar that girl did. Only a little bit of hope would help you both.
“You’ll live long. You’ll get a nice job and a house, maybe a pet or two,” Treech continued, the hand that wasn’t petting your face held onto your shoulder that raised with every hiccup. “And you’ll be happy.”
You kept your eyes closed as you drifted your head to his chest again, listening to the quiet beat of his heart, caged behind the soft fabric of his shirt and coat. The muscles in your legs eventually loosened, causing your knees to move away from your chest.
“You want that too?” You ask, looking up at his jaw since you would have to pull away to look him in the eye, which you didn’t wish for. “You want to go home to a victory dinner.”
Treech nodded without a second thought. “Better than starving in the arena,” he says with a slight smile. You hum in agreement. A good meal would always be better than this, for you and him.
“I want you to go home with me,” you state suddenly, changing the direction of the conversation. Your fingers go to one of his dark coat buttons, tracing the small details pressed into the silver.
Treech paused for a second. He knew it wasn’t possible, there was only one victor. But he’d be willing to give it up to you. “Yeah, I want that too…,” he trailed off, continuing to rub your cheek and cheek bone with his fingers. “I want you to go to sleep soon. It’s not good if you run into the arena tired.”
You nodded tiredly, allowing yourself some peace, just enough to sleep. Your breathing slowed and your grasp on his shirt loosened, and finally, you were out. Treech waited a minute more to continue rubbing your cheek before he decided it was good enough for him to sleep too.
Treech reached up to his hat and set it in the beige hay under the both of you and gently laid you next to him. Your sleeping body was still in his arms, your back against his chest. His dirtied fingers drawing up to your cheek bone then down to your chin one more time before his brown eyes were closed. Within a couple seconds, he followed in pursuit of sleep.
♡♡♡
The train eventually came to a stop, making a loud screech on the rusting rails. You slowly opened your eyes, blinking several times to get the sleepiness to go away. Treech’s arms were still wrapped tightly around you, finding comfort in your figure. The soreness of sleeping on the wood floor has affected you too, causing a groan to leave your lips once you sit up. Wovey and Bobbin hadn’t stirred from their slumber, their bodies only shifting slightly as the sudden lack of movement from the train.
You trail your eyes to the metal rods holding up the corners of the cattle car but are temporarily blinded by the light of the opened doors. You stiffened at the white light that shined in, turning away to cover your eyes.
“Come on, move out!” A man’s rough voice yelled at the four tributes inside. Bobbin and Wovey woke up almost immediately from the suddenness, a bit of fear in their sleep filled eyes.
“Treech, wake up!” You shake your district partner with haste. Which drew him to life with the help of the light. He groaned with sleepy irritation and looked up at you.
“Hm?” He whined and glanced around the train car, eventually falling on the armed peacekeepers. At the sight, Treech sat up quickly. It was almost like instinct, standing from the hay like he had been caught with something bad. Which of course wasn’t true, but he wasn’t going to act like it didn’t scare up.
“Come on,” you whispered to him, pushing him in the direction of the open doors. He obliged.
Treech quickly jumped down from the cattle car and onto the station platform. He turned back and reached up for your arms, hoping to help you down. You got onto your knees and leaned down until your arms were around his shoulders. Taking several steps back, he lowered you until your shoes made a soft tap to the platform flooring.
Turning your attention back to the other tributes, you and Treech silently followed them toward the chosen truck -or rather prison- for the tributes, staying close to each other as you went along.
The detailing of the train station drew your attention, the details of the clock over the ticket master’s office was beautiful. The best District train station wouldn’t even compare to the Capital’s worst. And that was a fact.
“Step up!” The peacekeeper hollered at you, drawing you away from the thought of the train station. You followed Treech into the truck, holding his hand as you climbed into the dark metal that would bring you to your tombs.
The calls of the peacekeepers grew loud and quick as Bobbin tried climbing over a nearby dumpster onto the roof of, what seemed to be, a shed. And the opportunity was taken by a Capital citizen in red.
The blonde boy ran into the truck, going all the way to the back to hide amongst the tributes. It must have worked since the peacekeepers pushed Bobbin back in to sit with Wovey and slammed the metal doors shut.
The truck started with a low rumble, the children inside swaying slightly from the suddenness as it slowly leaves the train station.
The van was eerily quiet, nearly all the tributes staring at -who you now known as- Coriolanus. Their eyes drilled holes into him as he turned to them. You couldn't help but stare too, wondering why he was in the van in the first place. It was obvious he shouldn't have been with you all, he was too well dressed.
Treech stared at him with a disgusted look, looking him up and down. The vibrancy of his red outfit gave him away. No one in Seven, hell, any of the districts, wore a red that vibrant. Not many could afford such a vibrant dye. The closest anyone of the tributes had to a vibrant dye was Lucy Gray, but even the ruffles of her skirt were too faded to have been made lavishly.
“What’s the matter, pretty boy? You're in the wrong cage?” Reaper remarked and gazed at the boy. The blonde boy looked around anxiously at the tributes and then shook his head.
Your attention was turned back to Reaper, who seemed to stand over the other tributes like a statue, larger than life with his attitude toward the random boy who intruded on their cage.
“No, this cage is delightful,” Coriolanus said back, looking around at the tributes who gazed at him.
The other tributes grimace at his lacklustre answer, constantly giving Coriolanus dirty looks. You stare at him too, wondering how he could have gotten in without getting caught. The red was too bright to not have gotten caught. The closest color that was as vibrant as the mentor’s coat was Reaper’s blue dress shirt, which was far behind in dye.
His words seemed to annoy Reaper as the boy was quick to grab Coriolanus, pushing him against the wall violently. Reaper held tightly onto his blue collar, pulling Coriolanus closer but holding him with an iron fist.
"I will kill you right now." Reaper threatened harshly, giving Coriolanus an angered look. The blonde didn’t try pushing him away, not trying to get his ass kicked before he could possibly find safety, or at least get the opportunity to run.
The other tributes leaned closer to try and witness the murder, hoping it was a little gruesome for them to get some satisfaction for their later deaths. At least it would be a death they would root for.
"There's no point in killing him," Lucy Gray pitched suddenly, drawing the attention of both Reaper and Coriolanus, looking up at the boys. "They'd kill you then your family."
"You care about him?" Reaper asked and looked over at her, a slight scowl on his face at the idea that he couldn’t kill Coriolanus. Lucy Gray stared at her mentor before nodding.
"He's my mentor, I'd prefer keeping him alive," Lucy Gray answered, smiling slightly at her own remark. A ginger haired girl glanced at Coriolanus then at Lucy Gray, looking her over, and bending down to the tributes level.
“Why do you get a mentor? You’re more special than the rest of us?” Coral asked in a condescending tone, giving Lucy Gray a dirty look.
“You all get one,” Coriolanus piped up, gazing at Coral, who stared back but gave him an annoyed look.
“Why aren’t they here?” Coral remarked and raised her brow.
“Just aren’t as kind,” Coriolanus answered and grunted from being pushed back against the wall by Reaper, firmer this time.
You watched silently, leaning forward to watch the event, wondering if Reaper would kill the Capital Boy. You lean forward, your lower stomach meets the upper parts of your thigh from leaning so far. Treech suddenly places his palm against your chest, lightly pushing you back against the truck wall. You didn’t try going against it but were slightly disappointed at his action. You wanted to watch as much as any other tribute.
Suddenly, the truck came to a stop, causing everyone inside to pause and look around. Wovey stood up from the bench and looked out the tinted window near the roof. She didn’t get much info for what was out there though.
A loud beeping sound followed as the doors opened widely as it suddenly tipped back. Your eyes widen as you hold onto your seat, which wasn’t helpful as you felt Bobbin fall onto your side, making you lose your grip. Treech was able to grab your arm as you and the rest of the tributes fell.
The terrain below the truck was an unforgiving rocky hill, almost as if the rocks sharpest points were towards the now falling district children. The sounds of rolling pebbles and cries from the tributes intermingled with the shrill calls of others, which you couldn’t put a figure to as you rolled down the hill. The sharp bits of rock poked into your back and ribs, causing you to writhe in a way to get away from the points, which didn’t do much but cause other areas to be jabbed.
Your body was tense as you quickly slowed as hastily as you started, groans leaving your lips. The area had changed from the rocky hill to soft green grass, which eased the growing newly found bruises. You stayed still for several seconds, simply listening to the pained moans of the other tributes and the calls of what you now knew as Capital citizens.
You turned your head to look over at the crowd behind the bars surrounding you, many of which were well dressed men, women, and children. It almost gave them away as Capital, their vibrantly dyed outfits. The blues, greens, and reds are too bright to say ‘district’. And they wouldn’t be excited to see their fellow man in cages if they were truly District.
But it didn’t matter now. You eventually sat up dusting your clothes of the sand that covered the stones and looked around, your mind trailing to Treech.
"Treech? Are you alright?" You groaned and looked around, hoping to find the boy nearby. Your call was answered with a whine of pain just behind a rock. You stood from the grass and quickly walked over to the sound of the familiar voice.
"I'm fine," Treech replied while slowly sitting up. He winced as he leaned over and grabbed his hat. You bent down and helped him to his feet, staring as he looked around the cage surrounded by people with kids and cameras.
“We’re in a zoo,” you mumble and look at the large camera that a man held, pointing it at the tributes. You hesitated to look away. Cameras were never truly fond memories, no one could afford them in the Districts and you could only ever see them used with the reaping's. The kids of past reaping's must have felt the same about the cameras.
“Yeah, I got that,” Treech remarked and sighed.
You nodded and sigh too, tightening your grasp on his hand. Treech pulled you closer, just close enough to whisper something in your ear. “Just make sure to-,” as Treech was about to finish his sentence, your name was called.
“(Y/n)!” A boy in a similar red to Coriolanus called your name, motioning for you to come closer.
You look from the boy calling to you to Treech, expecting him to finish his sentence, which he didn’t do. “I can talk to you again when you finish talking to him,” he simply states and pushes you in the boy's direction.
♡♡♡
The day had moved slowly, now the stars hung over the sky, the silver glow of the stars and nearby streetlamps contrasted greatly with the gold of the sun’s rays. The masses of people had gone home, now only being guarded by peacekeepers, who were reluctantly keeping their eyes open in case a tribute tried escaping.
Treech had gone off to juggle acorns for the camera, which had been rewarded with some bread. It wasn’t much but it was better than just the dust on his fingers. The bread had been split between you both while conversing about what your mentor had told you.
“His name is Pup Harrington,” you smiled and tore the brown bread between your fingers, popping smaller pieces into your mouth. Treech smiled slightly and did something similar. He raised his brow.
“Your mentor?” Treech asked, which you answered with a nod.
“Yeah,” you said through a mouthful of bread bits. “He just wanted to introduce that he was my mentor, and we needed a plan for the Games. I didn’t say too much so he did most of the talking anyway. Must’ve taken English seriously.”
Treech smiled and finished the little bit of bread he had left, licking his fingertips of the leftover crumbs off with hesitance. Moreso felt desperate, which was true but didn’t want that viewed from the Capital eye.
Once you both finish your small meal, you lie down in the grass, looking up at the stars that stared down at you. The other tributes had gone to bed or were keeping themselves occupied with miniscule tasks, like dusting off their clothes. Treech’s hands lay folded on his stomach, his hat sat near his head. You laid in a similar way, your hand close to his side, his coat to be specific.
"I wanted to thank you for being so nice to me," you mutter, finally breaking the silence. The grass was soft under your body, the yellowing dandelions around you making your natural bed seem fancier.
"You don't have to thank me," Treech assured you, watching mindlessly as you moved to hold his hands. You pulled his intertwined fingers from each other and took them into yours, squeezing gently. He kept his hand limp.
"And you didn't need to take care of me," you state with a small smile. Your mind raced with ideas, something similar to a gift. A gift you could give him, though you didn’t have much you could give him. "I can repay you in a specific way... if you'd want me to."
Treech smiled and let out a little breath, meant to be a small chuckle. Though, you could see the blush rise in his cheeks. "How would you repay me? You don't have much I could want," he remarked, giving you a specific look, one of wonder. It was obvious he wanted an answer quickly.
You hesitated at his question; you were partially expecting him to give you the idea for your gift. But he had nothing to offer and neither did you, materially, at least. You had nothing to offer but yourself.
"A kiss," you suggest hesitantly, as though the idea of kissing him wasn't something that made you nervous. You couldn’t deny that he was attractive, you would have told him sooner if your nerves didn’t get the best of you. Or if you weren’t sobbing since the reaping.
Treech paused for several seconds, the blush brightening on his face (which you didn’t know was possible), even with the dirt smudged on his cheeks. He looked away, trying to gain the confidence he had before your offer, which he doubted he could get back.
Your face grew warm too, realizing how it must have felt to have that told to you. Your hands wipe your cheeks slowly, followed with a sigh. “You don’t have to if you don’t want to. I was just suggesting,” you mutter and look back up at the stars. The silver spots stared down at you and Treech, just as eagerly waiting for his answer as you.
Treech pressed his lips into a line and tried breathing slowly, conjuring up some confidence to at least get to kiss your soft lips. He took in a final breath, nodding his head. “I’ll take it,” he said, finally making eye contact with you, though his blush brightened.
You raised your brow and nodded. “Just know I’m not too experienced with kissing, I don’t usually go around practicing kissing with others,” you muse and gradually place your hand on his cheek.
Treech stared at you and nodded slowly, a smile gradually crossing his face. He stayed silent for several moments before realizing you spoke. “Neither am I,” he mumbled, looking from your lips to your eyes. “I don’t mind.”
You smiled back at him, trying to gain the courage to kiss him. Your lack of experience made you nervous but knowing Treech was just as experienced helped slightly. You swallowed thickly as you leaned closer and hesitantly pressed your lips to his.
Treech eagerly held your hand, tightening his grasp as he tried leaning closer, though you thought it was impossible. Your chests pressed together as you kissed him softly, not growing in intensity since you both didn’t know how. But you didn’t pull away and neither did Treech.
Your hands were placed on his upper back and neck, keeping him closer as he gradually got closer. Treech breathed heavily through his nose, though the intensity wasn’t much, it was still so much for him. It was likely used for comfort, just as much as it was for you. The softness of his lips brought a softer feeling in your chest.
Eventually, you pulled away from each other, your soft breath was felt on his lips, which were only an inch or two away from yours. It was obviously a disappointment for Treech since he hastily grew fond of the affection and instinctively leaned closer to get another from you. It was only met with gentle rejection from your end, putting your hand on his shoulder to interject with his idea.
You both laid in silence, but a nice one. Treech lazily brought his head to your chest, laying down onto you. Now the roles were reversed. He laid in your arms for comfort, mainly just because he needed to wait to no longer be lightheaded. The silver stars looked down at you now with Treech in your arms, who held your hand gently. It was doubtful that the redness of his cheeks would ever leave, especially now after the kiss.

At the recent allegations against Alex Kister (creator of the Mandela Catalogue), I will no longer be supporting the creator or his content.
I'm not extremely educated on the situation but I heard he had a thing for the alternates (a f€tish really), gr00ming, trying to set up parasocial relationships with fans (who were mainly minors), and the constant s€xualization of their “partners” (the people he had gr00med). Naturally, I will be educating myself on the situation and it will affect how I go about this.
But there is already a nail in the coffin for the ‘no’ side of allowing requests since Alex considered bringing n4zi content into the series.
If anyone has any other information on the event, please tell me (with evidence obviously).
Keep in mind, anyone who blames the victim and says it was their fault for the things Alex did, I will not be engaging with you and am willing to block you. I do not allow victim blaming, it's always the adult's fault when it comes to grooming situations.

Hi, I really love your writing! I wanted to ask if you could do a romantic head canons for Tanner and Treech because I really love those characters and the reader can be fem or gender neutral. Enjoy the rest of your day!
How pretty it is, I think I'm in love.

Treech/Tanner x Gender neutral reader (separate romantic headcanons) Summary: Romantic headcanons about Treech and Tanner and how they fell in love with gender neutral! Reader Warning: mention of animal death (Tanner's part), blood, before and after the Hunger Games Word count: 1.4k ♡₊˚ 🦢・₊✧
Treech:
It had been a warm October in District Seven, oddly enough since the weather was usually cold during this time. Treech kept his hands together as he swung down on the wood block in front of him. He glanced around, looking at the greenery around him, his eyes unconsciously going to you. He stared at you as you brought your ax down onto the block of wood.
He would never admit how he’d admire you from afar, how his face would grow warm when he saw you take on the harder work, or how you looked while you brought your ax down to continue your work. Treech didn’t fully understand his love for you but he would be yours if you asked him… you wouldn’t have to always ask.
The first couple times you both converse were very awkward. Treech would try making you laugh, but because of how nervous he would be, it would come off as really odd. It makes things a bit more difficult, especially breaking the ice, but it was slightly charming since he tried with his jokes (sometimes).
You would hang out with his friends and yours, having connections with each other, which makes
Just a couple hours before the reaping, Treech walked around the town, hoping to get even a sight of you.
When his name is called in the reaping, he doesn’t try finding you. He already accepted his end once he got to the stage in front of the kids of Seven. Treech’s eyes would find you in the crowd, the beauty of your soft eyes made him want to weep and ask you for a kiss before his inevitable death. But he bit his tongue and kept quiet.
The time spent waiting for the train with Lamina was mostly just sitting in silence, her occasional sob breaking the quiet. Treech could only sit with his thoughts, wondering what could have come if he actually ran to you. Perhaps you would have taken him into your arms. Or not. He didn’t want that answer for so long.
The isolation that followed while waiting for the train made everything worse, the knowledge that you could have gone home, without a thought for him or terrified about what could ensue in the arena made him worried.
After his victory in the arena, he’d finally come home to District Seven. But unlike Tanner, he wouldn’t seek you out after caring for himself for a bit. He wouldn’t show for a long while. It would mostly be because Treech couldn’t bring himself to go back to you without worrying you could have possibly seen his actions on the TV’s in the town electronics shop.
Three months, three long months was how long Treech spent trying to take care of himself after all that had happened in the arena. But he got the confidence to go out to see others, others that wouldn’t kill him, and he went to your home.
Treech spent the entire time explaining what had happened while he was in his house and how he held up in the arena, the arena explanation was the shortest since his mind hadn’t even fully recovered.
It was almost a natural instinct to confess how he had fallen in love with you, the softness of you as a whole and how you were kind. You were so special to him since you were willing to listen to him, and didn’t constantly view his victory as a real victory, just as he did. Treech couldn’t help blushing so brightly, his entire face was basically red.
“You’d like a kiss?” You asked with a breathful laugh. As much as it embarrassed, Treech couldn’t help accepting the offer, which you gave to him quickly.
Your hands held his vibrant red cheeks, brushing your thumb against his cheekbone as you pressed his lips to yours delicately. It wasn’t as amazing as Treech had imagined, far more incredible than he could have ever thought. It’s like he was getting a kiss from the heavens itself. His desperation for your lips caused him to pull you close, just close enough to put his hands on your back.
You didn’t pull away for a long while, several minutes even. Truthfully, who would want to leave Heaven?
Tanner:
Oh, how badly the pain in his stomach grew as he stared at you, the blood covering your fingers drew blood to his cheeks. You set the butcher's knife down before turning to leaving to the dressing rooms. Tanner swallowed thickly and wiped his face with his hands, hoping his face wasn't too red to the extent others would know.
It was so odd, how lovely you looked in a place filled with only death. He’d never understand that feeling he got when he’d see you, but Tanner couldn’t deny that he didn’t want it gone.
Tanner had met you in English class, maybe not have met you but he knew you existed, and you were lovely. You were so kind and hot and shit. What couldn't he like about you? And you worked in the same factory! So, he could see you outside school!
You were the most “magnificent piece of work” … as he would say, with the voice of a songbird that would keep him in place out of instinct.
Tanner would take any opportunity to talk to you and he wouldn’t try making it obvious that he liked when you were paired up together in class when your friends were gone. Maybe it was obvious to all, but he thought he was smooth enough (he wasn’t).
Reaping day was notorious throughout the district, all of Panem really. Tanner had spent his day with his friends or near the town square, hoping to find you around and possibly talk to you.
Nearly the entire conversation is trying to work you up enough to get a kiss, trying to butter you up before the reaping. Of course, Tanner would compliment you and your outfit and how nice you looked, jokingly saying you were trying to find him too.
You would spend parts of your time in the town square, walking with him and your friends. Your friends mainly talked about other things besides how Tanner was trying to flirt with you. He claimed they were being sad and stuff, but they were reacting like any other possible tribute, wishing their families would be fine without them. The same could be said for him too, but he hoped you would be fine without him.
When he was called for the reaping, obviously he was sad. Who wouldn't be in this situation? Maybe a murderer but that doesn't matter now. Tanner was going to walk to his death.
At the realization that he probably wouldn’t come home, he’d try finding his way to you. There wasn’t a distinct time when the new tributes could speak to their family before they left but he needed a little time to speak to you, admit he had felt a special fondness for you.
The entire time he was on the train was hoping you’d at least think of him while he was gone, hopefully positive thoughts.
But Tanner never got that, and he couldn’t get what could have come from it out of his mind. It was a partial comfort on the train ride to the Capital.
After the Hunger Games, he had gone home and slept, though his mind went to finding you. It was either your warm presence or the haunting nightmares that would seep back into his mind when he couldn’t think of anything new.
Tanner would find you again and finally give you that kiss that was meant long before the reaping. He wouldn’t try being nice about it, his feelings were intense, and that kiss will be too. He wouldn’t try pulling away for a long while, keeping you close and in his arms, where he wished you would stay forever.
Oddly enough, Tanner would confess his feelings to you after the kiss. He’d go on about how he couldn’t keep his eyes off you and later his lips.
At some point, he’d be asked about his time in the arena. Though Tanner had endless nightmares about the things he saw, the blood and the snakes, he would be boastful. He would claim he was never scared and try seeming stronger than he already was.
As time went on, you’d more likely see him stiffen and get scared at the sight or the smell of anything that reminded him of the arena. Tanner would never claim himself a victor, but he’d say he would.

There is a GoFundMe link in my bio where people have raised well over $48,000. I think It's like $52,000 right now to help get her and her family into Egypt. But what is really really important that we can do is please make videos, and please share and repost videos really raising awareness about the urgency of getting her into safety, her and her family to safety. there is barley any stuff abt reaper, i was wondering if you can do reaper x fem!reader w just fluff hcs, thank you!! <3
Are you sick of me? Would you like to be?
Tumblr media
Reaper Ash x Fem! Crush! Reader Summary: romantic headcanons of Reaper getting a crush on fem! reader Warning: none Word count: 1.1k Author's note: kind of went in a different direction for these headcanons
˚₊‧꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
Reaper wasn't always interested in romance. Love has always been important to him and his life, the affection his family had for him was something he couldn't live without. But romance? Not always on his mind. He had friends that told him girls liked him, which he thought was endearing but wasn't interested in them.
It was mainly because he had better things to think about, at least that's how he puts it. Reaper has to help his family and get his schoolwork done; love wasn't primary.
Not until he met you.
It was some random day in class, it was near the end of the school year. The days had gotten warmer, and it smelled fresher because the frozen rain was finally melting. The teacher had assigned a final project on the importance of their district and the harvest every year. Many of the students were slightly disappointed it hadn't been something more interesting, but they accepted it, nonetheless.
Of course, groups were given, and he was assigned with a girl he hadn't talked to too much in class. You!
With your sudden intrusion in his life, came the odd feelings he started getting. It was odd, the effect you had on him. Each time you spoke, he couldn't hear anything else but you. And you would smile at him, and he wouldn't stop himself from smiling too because that odd feeling would get worse. Or better? Reaper couldn't pinpoint what he felt. But he knew he didn't want it to stop.
Class had ended at some point and Reaper was left with a sadness he hadn't felt, or rather disappointment...? Yeah, disappointment. You were gone and he couldn't spend time with you without seeking you out, which might have freaked you out.
Reaper had a habit of telling his friends about you and it later grew into a common occurrence. He would talk about your smile, your eyes, your voice, your kindness in particular. His friends were happy for him but would fake annoyance when Reaper would go on another tangent about your beauty and kindness. It would just make him justify his wanting for you more.
"I miss her." Reaper would say when you were gone from school, earning a groan from his friends, it having been his third time saying such a thing. You could have been gone because of sickness and he would get sad because he would be able to see you and get that sweet feeling when he would see you.
His friends would poke fun at him whenever you're near, pushing him closer or trying to call you to break the news before he was brave enough for it. Calling your name toward your group of friends, which Reaper knew you were with. Out of embarrassment, he would cover their moves and give them dirty looks for even trying such a thing.
Of course, school isn’t something you have to have every day of the year and it ended in early June. Reaper would spend most of his summer walking from work and through town, hoping he would see you amongst the large population and possibly wave to you.
The harvest months had brought most of (if not all) of District Eleven's teen population together to work, hauling baskets of fruits and vegetables to large carts from their plants. And that meant Reaper saw you again!
It was almost immediately that you started hanging out again. Mostly having been because you both usually took nearby areas to pick the apples. And at some point, you weren't seen without him, and he wasn't seen without you. Who would have thought you would gain a liking for him far beyond just platonic?
It was later in the day, having been four to five thirty PM, the citizens of Eleven were finally allowed to go home. Nearly everyone had left... except you and Reaper. He had stayed back to help you with the basket of apples you had acquired while working.
And when you sat together to rest from the heaviness of the apples, basket on the seat next to you both, a silence overtook you. It was eerie, not a horrific kind, but a kind of two who couldn't understand what to do with a new lover. But you weren't lovers... not yet, Reaper would hope.
Reaper looked down at the grass below his shoes and thought about what to do, his nerves growing as he took your hand and intertwined his fingers with yours. His body slightly relaxed, finally getting to hold your hand, your hands that he had wished to hold for oh so long.
Reaper finally ripped his stare from the ground and to you, hoping you would do the same thing he had wanted to for so long. Your eyes were trained on his hand that held your delicately, as though he would break you if he wasn't careful enough. But you accepted the touch with affection and tightened your grasp.
Your eyes moved from his hand, finally meeting his dark eyes with a sense of hesitance. You looked at Reaper with those eyes he adored, and he couldn't help leaning in slightly, hesitating slightly at the prospect you didn't feel the same. But you leaned in too and closed the gap between you two.
Your lips met his in a soft, warm touch. At the simple, small embrace, Reaper pulled you closer, his free hand having gone to your upper back to hold you closer. His lips stayed against yours, not wanting to pull away too quickly and think you left him disappointed. No, he could never be disappointed or unsatisfied with a kiss from you. Even if you weren't experienced with this form of affection, he wasn't either! You'd just have another thing in common!
He felt his senses heighten from the closeness and the fact he got to kiss a girl he had a thing for for a while. The smell of the apple blossoms having been drowned out by your perfume. The feeling of your soft clothes under the palm of his hand on your back was so much for him.
At some point, you pulled away, whether that was because it felt like too much to continue longer or for breath, it was something you both didn't know the answer to. You looked away from him out of giddiness and not wanting to make it awkward if you stared (as if you didn't just kiss). Reaper did something similar, looking down at the ground, but with great delight.
"You love me?" You asked, breaking the silence. You look up into his dark eyes, which stared back with warmth. Your hands were stilled entwined with his, his hand having tightened out of instinct.
"Was there a reason I shouldn't have?"

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in so long omg, I've had the WORST writers block for so long. This has GOT to be OOC for Reaper but please let me live.

GREETINGS
So I might have to warn you that I might be getting on hiatus a LOT like I have been recently- But! good news is that I'm improving on a bunch of stuff! (Like eating properly ANYWAY)
How is stuff going along for you? I want to make sure that you are alright and everything since I've been gone so long and might have to leave a little bit longer to handle stuff.
My condolences about my mysterious disappearances! -Korey
OMG HEYYYY!!! Great to see you're back but I didn't mind your mysterious disappearance, you've got stuff beyond tumblr.
But either way I'm doing good, everything is chill on my end.
You can definitely go on hiatus for longer since you should handle the other things before feeling pressured to deal with both keeping up with tumblr and doing that other stuff!! And yeah, make sure to eat properly

"Would you have kissed him?" Maude Ivory poked fun at you, grinning widely at her question. You scrunch your nose at her willingness to ask such a thing.
"No! I don't kiss boys after our first date," you giggled as you spoke. The rustle of the tall, yellowing grass brushed against each other, making 'wush' as you walked past. The blinding white sun shined onto you as you walked next to Lucy Gray, Maude Ivory walking between the both of you.
You were correct about that though; you would have never kissed a boy after your first date. The idea made you feel so gross. You barely knew those boys and they always gave you a gross feeling whenever they told you things you didn’t find attractive. Either way, you never kissed them.
"Don't ask such personal questions, it's rude," Lucy Gray remarks, tugging at the young girl's hand to get her attention to something else. Maude Ivory laughs and continues walking next to her. “But seriously, you never kissed them?”
“Hey! You can’t ask that, that’s personal!” Maude Ivory mocked the girl, which caused Lucy Gray to scrunch her nose, smiling, nonetheless. She turned her attention back to you.
“No, they were so odd. They seemed like sweet guys, just not my type,” you remarked, waving off the idea of dating those men.
__
The day passed quicker than you would have preferred. The moon now hung over the lake, shining a silver light over the dark blue water. The rest of the Covey had gone to sleep in the lake house, having laid blankets on the flooring of the cabin. On the other hand, you and Lucy Gray were outside hanging up the wet swim clothes.
The conversation had started off peacefully, making talk on Billy Taupe and his sudden appearance at the Hob a week before and how your life was going with your job and helping with the Covey. But it all trailed back to one event in your past you would have preferred keeping hidden.
"You remember when we were younger, and we were at your home when your parents weren't home?" Lucy Gray said quietly. You nodded; you remember it vividly. Lucy Gray was invited to your home, but your parents needed to go to the market for food. So naturally, you played together in the garden. You remembered how you had kissed her, it wasn't out of any friendship like love, it was something that made you always feel fuzzy. At some point in your life, you pushed off the idea and never felt it again.
But she kissed you back.
"Yeah, I remember," you replied and nodded your head, looking over at her. Her dark eyes stared back at you, looking deeply into yours. You looked away from her quickly, wondering if you gaze long enough, you would have gotten lost in her eyes. “When you…”
“Kissed you? Yeah… that’s what I mean,” she finished your sentence for you, holding one of the swimsuits to the clothesline. You press your lips into a line and do something similar to what she was doing, hanging the cloth with a wooden clip.
“Why’d you bring it up?” You asked and glance at her. Lucy Gray's deep purple dress seemed to blend into the dark night surrounding you two, the only parts you could really see of her was her tan skin unhidden by the dress.
"You liked me, did you not?" Lucy Gray says and gazes at you, expecting an answer. You purse your lips, wondering if your answer was truly as important to her as it was to you. Lying was an easier answer. You did like like her but not anymore.
"I don't remember, Lucy Gray. It happened a long time ago," you answer plainly. It was a plain old lie, you remembered it very well. You remembered how the flowers smelled and what colour her dress was the day you kissed her first. As little as you wanted to remember such vivid imagery, you could basically smell the flowers each time you thought about it (which was very little). "It was just a phase I went through, everyone goes through that time in their life."
She tilted her head at your last sentence, hesitating to continue moving. Nonetheless, Lucy Gray accepted your answer, pressing her lips into a line, then looking at the grass below her feet. Her fingers picked at her dress mindlessly, bringing it between her finger and thumb then dropping it back against her leg.
“I haven’t been to your house in a long while. Are your parents still doing well?” She inquires and bends down to grab another piece of clothing.
“They moved across town, let me keep the house since they didn’t want me moving to a random spot they didn’t know about,” you answer blankly.
"That's nice," she smiled and glanced at you. The silence lasted an eternity (or what felt like it) until Lucy Gray spoke again. "Why don't you like the boys you date? I can understand finding a red flag and not finding them attractive again, but you just keep going on these dates yet none please you...?"
The question made you pause, the wet cloth causing your palm to grow cold. "Just... trying to find someone good enough for me," you assure and clip the cloth to the wire.
She sighed and finally set the clothes back in the basket. "(Y/n)," Lucy Gray says calmly. "No one goes through a phase where they want to kiss girls."
"What does that have to do with anything?" You ask, slightly annoyed at her suddenly going on about the kiss you shared.
"I'm just saying that...," Lucy Gray trailed off, looking down at her hands, which fidgeted aimlessly. "Please tell me you weren't in love with that boy. Any of those boys."
Her words shocked you. You had gone on and on about how the guys you had dated weren't people you even liked, hell, they weren't even kind to you. Now she's showing she cares about the possibility you're in love with someone.
As much as you didn't want to admit it, you weren't in love with those boys, each date felt bland and never brought you that flurry filled feeling Lucy Gray's kiss had given you years ago. You swallow thickly.
"No...," You finally answer. It was almost like it was against your will to answer. But if you hadn't, Lucy Gray would have accepted it. "I wasn't in love with those boys, you know that."
She looks down at her hand and lightly, mindlessly, traces the veins on the back of her palm.
"You're in love with someone, you've said so. I want to know who it is," Lucy Gray pleads, sucking in a breath. "I promise I won't tell a soul. You can trust me."
Your eyes watered at her request, your mouth growing sour from your growing tears. You knew how stupid it was to cry at such a question, but you couldn't help it. Your lips drew back into a line, hoping to stop you wanting to cry.
Each second that passed made you realize how little you loved those boys, like wasn't even a good enough term to give your feeling for them. You simply felt nothing for them. Every date you went on made you so bored and made you wish you were with someone more entertaining, more lovely than them. Lucy Gray was a good fit for that someone.
It finally hit you. You were in love with Lucy Gray. As many times as you had hoped she would press her lips to yours again and wished you could hold her hand like a boy would a girl, you never understood why you felt that way. You would supress that feeling each and every time you felt it and went on your way to find a boy to love, which never worked out.
Your line pressed lips drew back into a slight snarl look, but you felt no anger, only despair at the realization. Falling in love with a woman, truly horrific. As odd as it sounded, you wanted to at least calm your nerves and know you were normal. Normal in the way that you loved, being held by and kissing by a boy. Your eyes were sparkling in the lackluster moonlight.
"You," You blurt out. Your tears blurred your vision, causing you to look away out of not wanting her to see you so tearful. "It's always been you, as little as I want to be."
Lucy Gray gave you a blank look before swallowing thickly, her hands pulled away from yours. “Oh,” she says quietly, looking down at her skirt covered legs.
Hesitantly, you brought your hand to wipe your tears from your eyes.
"Would you kiss me?" Lucy Gray muttered, looking down at her hands with a look of sadness. Your mouth filled with sour saliva, you desperately wanted to cry. Sob to her that something was wrong, something made you want to kiss her.
"If you were a boy, I would have kissed you so many more times than I already have," you swallowed thickly, praying you wouldn't burst into tears about the idea. It wasn't that big of a deal either. You didn't care about the fact that Barb Azure was dating a woman. Personally, you were happy for her. But you could never bring yourself to think of being with a woman in the way Lucy Gray wanted to be with you, not without thinking it was disgusting.
"If I were a boy...," Lucy Gray drew her lips back into a line after repeating your words. Her nose scrunched at your response, you knew you gave an answer she wouldn't understand. "Why must I be a boy?"
"I wouldn't feel so guilty if you were one," you answered brokenly, your voice squeaking softly. "I've always felt something for you, I've known that. No matter how many times I went out with a boy, I couldn't help wishing you were with me. I may hate myself for how I feel for you, another lady, but I will never view you with hatred because I would break my own heart."
Lucy Gray's eyes widen at your confession, her eyebrows scrunching upward. You tried taking in breaths, hoping to calm yourself from how emotional you got over a simple confession of feelings.
“You don’t like that feeling,” she said simply, as if you didn’t already know that. “I remember your parents told me not to come around a lot since they thought I was a bad influence… You told them about that, about the kiss, didn’t you?”
You didn’t look at Lucy Gray, wondering if she was just really good at hiding her anger or if she truly was not angry. Nonetheless, you nodded, finally giving her an answer. Gazing at her again, she sighed.
“It’s fine. You didn’t know they wouldn’t like what we did,” Lucy Gray answered, accepting your reaction. “It rubbed off on you too.”
You tilted your head at her words. “Rubbed off on me?”
“Yeah, they didn’t like what we did and neither did you.”
“It didn’t rub off on me,” you say defensively, hoping she would understand that you liked that kiss as much as her. You give her an angry look.
"(Y/n), why don't you want this? I like you, you like me, why can't we have something?" She inquired, almost pleaded for you to answer. "If you have something else in your life, that's ok, you can tell me."
Looking down at the empty wicker basket, you thought about her answer. She liked you and you liked her. It was already sickening enough to think too hard about that. It brought a sour feeling in your mouth.
"I don't know," you sneer and look away from her again.
"Not that good of an answer," Lucy Gray mumbled and looked down at the green grass under her feet. She was right, it wasn't a good answer.
Several minutes (or what you felt were minutes) passed by without a word from either you or Lucy Gray. Maybe it was to calm you or because there was genuinely nothing to say. But, at some point, she couldn't help giving you an offer.
“I can kiss you again, if you’d want,” she mutters, looking down at her hands which had her fingers curled around each other nervously. The idea scared you a bit, wondering if she would be as gentle as she had been so long ago. You blinked away your tears.
"What if I don't like it?" You ask, though it was more so a whisper. "There's a possibility that I won't feel kissing is my thing."
Lucy Gray took in your words and nodded quickly. "You can kiss me and see if you like it. I won't do it again if you don't feel kissing is your thing," she assures and takes a step closer.
You press your lips together, making a slightly downturned shape. "Fine," you say reluctantly, as though your heart wasn't beating faster than ever before.
"I'll be gentle with you, alright?" Lucy Gray muttered and stepped closer. It was a bit awkward, preparing yourself for the kiss you partially (fully) want.
She leaned her head forward, but the suddenness of her movement caused you to lean back cautiously.
Your hesitation caused Lucy Gray to pull away, which immediately made you grab her hand to pull her closer again. "I mean it when I said I wanted to see if anything changed," you state and tighten your grasp on her hand.
Lucy Gray nodded again and leaned closer to you, causing you to suck in a breath. Her hands go to the sides of your face, her tan fingers grazing your cheekbones, holding your face in her hands gently.
"I'm a bit nervous," you mumble, hoping to lighten the mood from how awkward it felt to get to kiss your best friend again. Lucy Gray smiled and took another step closer, which you didn't think was possible.
"That's alright," she said quietly, not trying at all to hide her grin. "I won't move too fast."
Nodding, you swallow thickly and wait for her to press her lips to yours, which came quicker than you had realized. Lucy Gray's lips were soft and warm and much more experienced than when you were young. The one you had together in your parents' garden was similar to a peck, having pressed your lips together and pushed them out, making sure her nose wouldn't touch yours.
But now, this was sweet, the kiss was sweet, she smelled sweet. Your senses seemed to heighten at the feeling of her pressed against you. You could feel her breathe through her nose, the exhale brushing your skin. You didn't try opening your eyes, hoping you wouldn't make it awkward for yourself.
Lucy Gray didn't pull away immediately, she kept you close, holding your face in her delicate grasp. The small voice in your head that made you feel that this was wrong faded out, making sure you only focused on the girl who was kissing you.
Your hands trail from your side to her arms, grasping at the soft skin of her wrist. This was what you were told to hate? This was what you didn't want yourself to have? You couldn't believe you would keep yourself far from her romantic affection, the thing you have longed for, even if younger you didn't want to admit it.
Lucy Gray finally pulled away, as much as you wished she didn't. "Did you like it?" She asked, her index finger brushing your cheek in a petting motion. She couldn't stop herself from grinning from ear to ear, obviously giddy at the romantic gesture.
Your eyes were trained on her, your face growing warm with something you could only point out as affection. Affection for Lucy Gray. Again, you were hasty to initiate the kiss yourself, your hands pushing her hands from your face so you could keep her close.
A small smile grew on Lucy Gray's lips, letting out breathes from her nose in soft spurts, mimicking a laugh. You would have laughed too if getting a kiss was your only answer too.
"If you were a boy, I would have kissed you so many more times than I already have." Thankfully, Lucy Gray didn't need to be a boy for you to kiss her, kiss her as many times as you wished, and drink up her affection like it was fine wine.
