No, but I love Stacy and Candace’s friendship so much?? Like Stacy has learned to work with her friend’s issues while not making it affect her, and Candace has shown when picking Stacy or her obsessions, she’d pick Stacy. And it’s so great????? Anyway

The kids have a pun battle and once Candace finds out about it she absolutely wrecks them

Candace and Ferb bonding/fluff headcanons, please? We never really got to see that sibling relationship due to Ferb being treated like a 2nd banana, and I really wish we could have.

Of course, I love them!

Now, for a while they just viewed each other as “Phineas’s brother” and “Phineas’s sister”

That sounds weird, all things considering, but looking at the dynamic between Phineas and Ferb? That’s a hard thing to get in on. And I doubt Ferb’s all that great at approaching people.

Even so, they obviously care about each other. Some of Ferb’s favorite projects are the ones he does for Candace and Candace often views Ferb as the lesser of two evils between him and Phineas

But, even so, it takes a while for them to get close

And when they do? It’s through one very specific avenue.

Gossip. They like gossiping with each other.

At first, it’s about Isabella and Phineas because, well, it’s an easy target. Very easy.

But it kind of spirals from there.

And it’s never really either of them talking about their own love interests or issues with whoever.

It’s literally just them talking about other people. Cause I personally like the idea that Ferb has a hard time talking about himself.

And it’s not even mean spirited! Most of them time!

And sometimes they’ll rope whoever into it (examples include: Stacy, Vanessa, and Isabella).

However, they’re… very hard to follow.

It’s not even (just) that they have a shit ton of inside jokes, they just… forget to finish explaining and let everyone else catch up.

Because both of them are very smart. And they’ve spent enough time together to know EXACTLY how much they need to say in order to communicate a point properly to each other.

And everyone I’ve mentioned is also smart, but both Candace and Ferb have their own… brand of intelligence.

And they both happen to not quite understand each other’s but are able to accommodate it.

Something that’s… really hard. And even harder to actually explain to someone besides the two of them.

But eventually, they start talking about more “intellectual” things.

Candace will talk lawyer (I’m sorry, I don’t know what to call it. If I say talk law, she sounds like a cop) and Ferb will talk… whatever, honestly. He knows too much about too many things.

Oh yeah, and also whatever show/book series/movie that’s caught their interest.

Ferb knows a LOT about Ducky Momo. Candace knows a lot about the pnf version of Star Wars and LOTR (I forgot the names and it’s funnier to call it this <3)

Just. They have the type of relationship where if someone asks what the other’s favorite color is, they’ll just look on blankly, while being able to explain every single plot hole of every single episode of whatever the other’s favorite show is.

And personally, I think that’s probably the best kind of relationship you can have with someone.
