awhhh thank you so much! i will try to draw some more when i have ideas for them ❤️ i love them so so much, i even RP them with my fiancè, they are so wonderfully special. i agree with all you have said about them!! i also love that Chojiis a good example of what depression and burnout can do to you AND everyone around you when it is untreated and ignored, right? most of the cast is Neurodivergent in some way in my head (all their needs, inability to be at school, the fact hey cant communicate well and end up acting out due to untreated overstimulation, the fact most cant stand certain textures or clothes, depressions etc) so i always love how these kids manage to navigate their problems the best they can without any support.

have been asked once or twice what brushes i use, so i wanted to make a guide!

THESE ARE PROCREATE ONLY. it's my current main art program, but i will say that my CSP brushes are very similar - flat pencil, the basic studio pen/textured pen for lineart + paint bucket. i use much less variety there, lol. i also sometimes use various no pressure/pixel brushes, not pictured since it's not often/default.

Charcoal stick

Faber Castell polychromos pencil

Chalk - in Procreate by default

Smooth inker (textured) - part of the KraftTone inkers set

Studio pen - in Procreate by default

Scratchy pencil

Tilted brush

15mm flat side down

Super diluted

WD_Sand brush - unfortunately i can't remember where i got this one, i just googled "sand effect brush", but i found this set which seems similar

to do the color change effect i love to use in sketches, go to: Settings > color dynamics > color pressure > hue play with the hue to your liking! i also use gradients with masking effect + gradient maps.

recently discovered i probably suffer from hypergraphia, so i wanted to show what i drew in the span of 9 hours nonstop until my hand hurt so bad i couldn't move it anymore + my thoughts after.

i spent the morning sobbing uncontrollably because of how awful it felt. i had always felt alone when describing to fellow artist friends how art feels to me, and i had never heard of anyone else feeling this way.

art for me has never been a hobby, but a compulsion i can't live without. i am also a recovering gambling addict, and it feels a lot like a gambling session when it ends.

- and the next day after this, i discovered about hypergraphia. it felt like a light opened up to me. in high school i would draw and write things constantly nonstop - doodles, the same phrases over and over, etc. i think that, perhaps, a certain medication i take makes it better - i take it to treat anxiety, but it's also used for epilepsy, so perhaps that's why? i've been off it for a while since i haven't been able to get a refill. i don't have epilepsy to my knowledge but i do have OCD.

anyways, it's debilitating when it takes over, especially coupled with the fact i have chronic joint pain.

just wanted to share a bit. you are not alone.❤️
