Nana smiled at Alexander's words. "And I absolutely adore her already!" She replied happily, but his next comment made her frown. "Kenji? Why wouldn't he be?" The princess worried about her brother.

Inside his chambers, the crown prince heard the knocking on the doors, immediately recognizing the younger Nordic princes' voices. "I'm fine, I'm just tired!" Kenji shouted from inside his room. Then, thinking he shouldn't be rude to people who actually worried about him, the future Emperor sighed, quickly adding in a calmer tone. "The door's open... you can come in, if you'd like..."

Meanwhile in the garden, Takumi smirked at Kori's remark. "But I bet you wish you did." He replied with an intense gaze and flirtatious tone, before turning to reply at the Nordic prince. "Don't worry, there's still plenty for you and your pals. If our refined drinks are to your liking, that is." He smirked, visibly amused. Chuckling at the Ichinose heir's reply, Mei whispered to her fellow handmaid. "Nah... men are all like this, from royal to beggar." The young woman giggled.

Toby and Charlie both noticed Kenji leaving and decided to check on their before excusing themselves while Alexander agreed on the plans.

"Sounds perfect. Love, I'm sure Sunny will absolutely adore you, " He replied as he brothers hurried after the older prince. " I hope Kenji is alright."

Not along after, Tobias knocked on the large doors of the heir's bedroom.

"Kenj, are you okay?"

"I wonder what got him so worked up." Charlie thought aloud, worried about their friend .

"Hey, I don't know what you do in your free time."

Kori joked back as Hunter snorted.

"I'm surprised he and his pals haven't drank the place dry yet.

The Nordic man added as Kori rolled her eyes.

O ─ O’clock. What time do they usually have sex ?  Are they usually in a rush, or do they take their time ? How about on weekends / holidays ?  

Whenever they feel like it ? 😆 Though Nana is a sucker for slow mornings and/or passionate nights, and her idea of a perfect weekend with a lover is spending the whole time wearing nothing but his shirt and getting up only to prepare some food for them.

Even with blushing cheeks, Nana is big on communication and there's nothing she wouldn't discuss or answer truthfully. There are no taboos, and being adventurous and open-minded, she'd be willing to try almost anything at least once. Although she doesn't really like being asked about her past experiences, because her ex-fiancé was her only lover, and she fears her lack of experience might be off-putting to new potential partners. In the same manner, she wouldn't ask them about past lovers, because the past is in the past.

Mei laughed at Kori and Hunter's banter, while Takumi smirked at the handmaid's reaction. "I was, but it was enough drinking for today. I'm not the kind to be passed out on the streets, you know?" The Ichinose heir joked.

Meanwhile inside the palace, Nana grinned with excitement, as she and her husband discussed their traveling plans. "I think that's a wonderful idea, my love! We should definitely visit your home country first. I'm really looking forward to meeting your mother, and Sunny!" She nodded in agreement. "Then we can visit Kori's island! I've always wanted to go there!" The princess added with enthusiasm. Overhearing their conversation, Kenji couldn't help but feel sorry for himself, for not being allowed to travel to faraway places as well, so, without a word, the crown prince got up and went to his chambers.

"Oh come on, Kor, we know you wouldn't hurt me." Huter joked has Takumi appeared.

"You wanna bet blondie? And your girlfriend did give me promission."

Kori replied, jumping slightly, feeling something touch before seeing the Ichinose heir.

"Oh hey Tak! I thought you were still in town with the guys."

She added, earning as slightly concerned, looking from Hunter.

"You saw each other earlier?" He asked as his friend nodded.

"Yeah, I stopped by to see my family, and Takumi was there with his buddies."

The maid nodded.

Alexander smiled at his wife.

"So where would you like to go to first, Love? We can visit some of the neighboring countries, maybe stop by home and meet Mother and the others, Kori said her island is quite lovely this time of year too.

He suggested very excited for the beginning of many adventures as well to continue his wonderful life with Nana.

"We really are! Thank you so much, Kori!" Nana smiled, rubbing Alexander's hand with her thumb.

Meanwhile in the garden, Mei laughed as she watched her fellow handmaid's interactions with her boyfriend. "Be my guest!" The young woman joked, laughing some more. Just then, Takumi, who had just returned to the palace, approached the group, wrapping his arm around Kori's shoulders. "Good evening." The young warrior greeted with a smirk.

"Knowing Papa, I won't be surprised if he pulled off something like that." Kori mused as her friends discussed that honeymoon plans.

"Ooh, that sounds exciting. I'm happy for you guys!"

Alexander thanked gently squeezing Nana's hand.

"Thank you, we're really looking forward to it."

After heading out, she began chatting with Mei and Huter.

"I am too, my love. And I am sure they have weaved a beautiful fate for us." Nana mused, smiling as she kissed her husband's cheek, and his comment made her chuckle a little. "That is true!" Also noticing how Anna cheered for Lucas at the end of his performance, the princess nodded in agreement. "He always does. Anna really fancies him." Nana whispered, happy for her sister.

Not too long after that, Mei, the handmaid, approached them, reminding the newlyweds that the time for their first dance had arrived. "Of course, husband." Nana smiled up at Alexander, taking his hand and following him to the center of the room, as the musicians started playing the song they'd composed especially for the occasion.

"Of course, my princess." Alexander smiled, taking the seat beside her as Lucas performed for everyone.

"I'm certainly glad the gods blessed us that night." He replied, placing a kiss on his bride's hand.

"Maybe it should become a little tradition since it worked well for us."

The prince mused as Luke finished the song and noticed how enthusiastic Anna was.

"Well, Lu definitely caught her attention."

Njord chuckled and nodded, downing his own beverage as the guests followed his lead, as they chatted the Nordic phase.

Kori laughed, tapping her glass with her family before taking a sip as the bard continued to play.

Soon after Mei quietly approached the newlyweds.

"Forgive me Your Majesties, but it is time for your first dance."

Alexander nodded at the maid before thanking her then looking Nana.

The Mason siblings cheered as the royal couple took the floor.

"I'm glad to hear that. Your grandfather was a great man and a wise ruler, he deserved nothing less than an adequate ceremony." The Emperor mused, listening as Kori told them more about her grandfather's funeral. And as she wondered about his possible presence, even in spirit form, Nana smiled and nodded. "It could be... in our culture, we believe that our ancestors are always there, looking out for us. That's why it's very important to us to keep honoring them." The princess explained with a smile, and at Kori's question, she nodded happily. "Yes! We're really excited about our first trip together!" She grinned, lacing her fingers with her husband's, looking lovingly into his bright blue eyes. In fact, Nana had been loving married life, much more than she'd ever imagined, and she felt her love for Alexander growing with each passing day.

After dinner, the royal family remained in the great dining hall for some lighthearted fun, such as music and games, and said their goodbyes to Kori. Walking through the garden, hand-in-hand with prince Hunter, Mei, her fellow handmaid, heard her calling. "Kori! It's so nice to have you back! Are you leaving, already?" Mei pouted.

"Well, that's a first." Kori joked, turning her attention to the emperor.

"It went well, thank you, Sir." She replied, adding food to her own plate.

"The funeral was lovey, we did a few strange things happen through the evening though."

The maid added with a shrug.

The three Sprigdragons all listened carefully as they began eating.

"That's certainly odd. Maybe your grandfather was letting you all know he was there?"

Alexander suggested before answering his friend's question.

"It's been wonderful, thanks! Nana and I are settling the final details before setting off on our trip."

The prince replied, resting his on top of his wife's.

After dinner, Kori said her goodbyes, making her way to before before spotting the eldest prince and Mei.

"So it begins..." Nana whispered to herself, putting down her luggage and sitting on one of the small beds inside the cabin she'd be sharing with three other young women. Looking around, this was the less luxurious space she'd ever been in in her whole life, but it would have to suffice. Running away with only a few dresses and her jewels was the last minute plan she could come up with, in order to escape a loveless, arranged marriage and an unfulfilled life, and this ship her only hope. Maybe it wasn't just a coincidence that it was called The Ship of Dreams — to her, it meant just that — the freedom to control her own fate and achieve her own dreams of becoming an artist. If it had to be away from her family, so be it.

Taking a deep breath and forcing herself to smile, in order to shake off the nervousness, Nana decided to explore the ship a little bit. Wandering through the crowded corridors, she could feel the people's excitement and happiness, all their hopes and dreams embodied by this journey, and it certainly improved her mood. Even though they were mere strangers, they were all on the same boat, both literally and figuratively. Soon, she found herself walking over the deck, watching all the people on land saying their last goodbyes to the passengers. And even though she knew none of her family and friends were among them, it was still a heartwarming, comforting view. Looking to her side, she noticed a young man who also admired the view in silence. Smiling, she wondered about his motivations and hopes for this journey. Were they akin to hers, or maybe completely different? "Do you think you'll miss it? This place we're leaving, that is?" She asked him, almost without thinking.

After he and his parents had located their room and instantly started unpacking Elio got restless. It was all taking too long and he was missing the send-off. Not that anyone was coming to wave goodbye to him but still. It felt iconic, just like this ship was. The ship of dreams as it was nicknamed. He could definitely see why it was dubbed that. Everything looked absolutely beautiful, almost as well crafted as any of the art pieces he had soon.

After some begging to his parents, they say he could go as long as he would return by supper. Not needing to be told that twice Elio took off through the halls. This place was one big maze it would be harder than he had first thought to get back but once he was walking over the deck he thought to himself that it was worth it. The view was amazing from up here.

"That is true." Takumi agreed with his friend, drinking some more. Not too long after that, the young men called it a night and went home.

Meanwhile in the palace, Kenji smiled and nodded as Toby complimented the malasadas. "Right?! They really are! I could eat these everyday!" The prince mused with enthusiasm, closing his eyes as he enjoyed another bite of the sweet treat, making his older sister laugh. Approaching the group, Anna smiled and returned Kori's hug. "It's great to see you too! We missed you!" The princess greeted cheerfully, and her friend's comment made her laugh. "Well, it's more like he's the one keeping me out of trouble." She whispered, winking playfully, as they made their way into the great dining hall and took their places at the table. "You're most welcome, Kori." The Emperor smiled and nodded, as he started filling his plate, granting everyone permission to do the same. "How was everything, back at home?"

"Bye Kori!" Takumi's friends called out.

"It's good to see she's doing well." One man added, taking a shot of saké as the others agreed.

Kori laughed watching Kenji and the two Nordic princes enjoy the sweets.

"Mmm, I can see why Kenji likes these so much. They're delicious!."

The young royal exclaimed, covering his mouth.

"I'm glad you like them!" The young woman mused as Nana updated her on Anna and Luke.

"Awe, sounds like Lu might be rubbing off on her a little bit."

The maid joked while being greeted by the emperor.

"It's good to be back, Sir." She replied, saying hello to the youngest princess.

"Hi Anna, it's great to see you." She smiled giving Anna a hug.

"I hear you've been keeping my brother out of trouble while I was gone. That is not an easy task!"

She whispered jokingly as they arrived at the large dining table.

She was still a bit uneasy when it came to having meals with royal family after all these years, but she appreciated the gesture all the same.

"Mmm, the food looks as good as always, thank you, Your Majesties!"

What advice would you give to a new RPer? What does your URL mean?  How involved are you in your rp community?  What do you do when you get writer’s block? What has made you completely lose your chill? 

⨳ — MUNDAY

1. What advice would you give to a new RPer ?  My best advice would be to just have fun ! To truly experiment around your blog —write all sorts of plots that bring you joy, post little things about your muse(s) (be it edits, headcanons, playlists, etc...) or even customize a template that really fits your muse. Just never feel pressured to do things only because the majority of people are also doing them — what matters is if you enjoy them ! Otherwise, you might find yourself burned out pretty quickly. Speaking of which, whenever you feel like writing is more of a chore than something that brings you pleasure, by all means take a break — the rp partners that truly value you will understand. And last but not least, never be afraid to communicate and reach out ! As an introvert, I know this is better said than done, but trust me that for the most part, you'll only end up regretting the times you didn't. 😊

2. What does your URL mean?  Back when I started this blog in 2019, I only had two muses — Nana (an OC heavily inspired by Ai Yazawa's manga and its respective anime, which was and still is very dear to me), and Rupert (a canon muse from the movie "Sex Doll", who was so mysterious in his source material that I had to rely on headcanons to build his backstory 😆). So the url and blog's name was a direct reference to them & their personalities — Naturally Nana, Recklessly Rupert.

3. How involved are you in your rp community?  I'd say that at the moment I'm not too involved in the rp community — I only rp on this blog and keep a small circle with meaningful interactions (mostly because I've recently came back from a hiatus and I'm taking baby steps before venturing any further 😆). But speaking of meaningful interactions, I'm the kind of partner that gets super invested in our muses' little universes and absolutely loves to create edits/moodboards & playlists for them ! I also run a memes and resources blog for the rpc — Mimi's Memes — which has been somewhat inactive lately, but I do plan on starting to create things again. 😊

4. What do you do when you get writer’s block?  Most of the time, I just take a break and try to entertain myself with other activities. More often than not, inspiration will come, sparkled by a scene from a movie/series or some lyrics from a song. 😊 Speaking of which, I find it really helpful to write listening to some music ! I've got a few songs that I associate with the muses (mine and/or my partner's) or the scene I'm working on, and it really helps setting the mood and getting those replies flowing !

5. What has made you completely lose your chill?  I must say that in all these years, I've been lucky enough to avoid any unnecessary drama and toxicity, and therefore my experience has been mostly positive. So thankfully I don't really have anything to comment on this topic. 🙏
