pink tax is products targeted towards women being more expensive than products targeted towards men (idk if this has carried over into products targeted towards transfems vs transmascs- wouldn't be surprised if it did tho)

period tax is the fact that if you menstruate, you have to pay for pretty expensive prices pads or tampons to avoid making your underwear+pants being a biohazard

Oh ok that's what I thought period tax was but I wasn't 100% on that. For the last 7 years I've been lucky enough to live in a place where it's easy to find free pads, so I've refused on a moral level to pay for them and hoarded bc yeah, that shit should be free lol

As for "women's" products, I've avoided that shit like the plague for as long as I can remember for the reasons you stated. [Insert down with cis bus meme]

From what I've observed, it seems certain industries (i.e., p*rn, probably also beauty products) are okay depicting transwomen as long as it's for fetishistic purposes and/or to feed hyperfeminine beauty standards. Transmascs, on the other hand, are nonexistent because "men without a bio-penis" and top surgery scarring is inherently considered gross or smth. Also transfemmes who aren't transwomen don't exist wym hhhh

So under these circumstances, products for transfemmes actually means "products for women," and products for transmascs are nonexistent. Obviously these are generalizations and not backed by any science, just what I've observed.

i like how the sea is portrayed as a pivotal point of phos' undergoing physical transformation and deepening their sense of purpose, like driving their passion in keeping their promise and learning about the lunarians and the dark past of humankind. this part of the series is so nostalgic now ugh😭🥺
