The #witchtok discourse has gotten so out of hand.
I'm going to clarify a few things as nicely as I possibly can:
1: These are fledgling witches. At best they might be able to give you a headache, and I'm being generous here. No witch has the energy required to hex the bloody moon. What exactly are you hexing? It's a celestial body? 🤦‍♀️
2: ARTEMIS IS DAMAGED AND APOLLO GONNA WRECK THEM!!!! No. Artemis is fine, Apollo could care less. The moon deities are chilling, because THEY ARE GODS. What hubris! You think a fledgling witch can take on an actual God? Guys.
3: If your energy is out of whack, its not because a group of fledgling witches tried to hex the moon.
4: Giving these people attention is just fueling their idiocies. Let them continue to do whatever they please, if they actually are witches, and not just trolls attempting to get a rise ( or make a fool out of) the witch community, they will eventually mess with something they shouldn't, and this will sort itself out.
5: we were given common sense and critical thinking for a reason. I like to think that witches practice these skills more frequently than the general population. I dont know how we went from crafting elaborate spells, researching and divining to believing actual beginners could do anything to the fae, or the moon or the freaking Sun.
That is all.

Tip# 1- Research is very important, but don’t get sucked into “what type of witch am I?” “What type of magic do I want to do?” Research what items you can easily get a hold of (like tap water, daisies, dandelions) and their magical properties.
Tip# 2- Don’t worry about getting a whole bunch of items! They will come to you naturally and you’ll know when to get the items.
Tip# 3- Try everything you can! And don’t get discouraged when something doesn’t go right.
Tip# 4- (this is optional) But personally i got caught up in trying to do others spells and learning how to do their spells. Honestly, the best thing to do is look at whatever items you have and let intuition decide. Don’t get caught up in others spells.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
Hi everybody! I am still pretty new to the craft and I would LOVE if I could get some suggestions on how to hone it!

oh, to be walking barefoot in the forest as dawn breaks, the soft moss cushioning your feet, slightly damp from the rain the night before. to escape the polluted city air. walking slowly in awe; bird song enticing you futher. delving deeply into the desirable unknown. a truly wonderful way to wake the senses after the physical body itself.

Lucifer
I don’t think the ‘devil’ is evil, I don’t think he’s a scary red monster with gigantic horns, I don’t think he’s half man half animal, I don’t think he’s any of the common stereotypes.
I do believe he’s a fallen angel, rebellious against the norm. I believe he’s felt pain, anger and suffering. But I don’t believe he’s evil.
I believe people have done evil in his name. And it’s easier for them to believe, opposed to believing evil has been done in the name of their precious god.
I can relate.

If someone ever tells you a certain song is important to them you should turn it up and lay on your bed and close your eyes and really listen to it even if its 10 minutes long because at the end you will know that person much better I think
