Hey, currently playing the originals and i'm on ezarel's route. I was curious if you had any idea if i can get the leiftan's illu from ep 25 without history replaying ep 19? Thanks in advance whether you know it or not!

Hi! That's a gorgeous illu, and we all had to suffer at the time, because, indeed we couldn't get it if we weren't oficially in his route since episode 19 as far as I remember :(

However, with the fire many of us just bought it in the antique shop (that closed years ago), so maybe they have changed it from then to now? I really am not sure anymore, I haven't played origins again as I refuse to play it in any language other than Spanish, and they just left it in English... not worth it playing like that for me ;n;

I asked support about the bugs too

I explained the problems I've found so far, like the message about losing the illu with Nevra and Lance when you actually have them, making some people pay for them for no reason, and the fact that I haven't find a single person in the entire fandom (at least, among here, discord, twitter and facebook) who got Leiftan's illu without paying for it.

They said they are checking Nevra's illu, but the others are all fine (lie as I got my Lance illu right after the "you missed the illu", but let's say they already fixed that one, even if I haven't check again).

Assuming they are not again lying about bugs so they can get people to pay more trying to get impossible illus as it happened with ML before, if Leiftan's illu is alright, we already know:

It doesn't depend on one choice, as basically everyone had been trying anything so far and nobody unlocked it yet.

It doesn't depend on setting or not the crush, as people have tried both ways and lost it either way.

It doesn't depend on lom, as people with 40%-100% have tried and they all missed it.

It doesn't depend on the father's lom, as people tried getting it up, down and keeping it neutral already but it never worked.

The only other option that pops into my head is that it depends on a specific combination of choices up to the point of the illu (and let's assume a good lom, since it makes no sense if you're not supposed to have it), there are 5 choices up to that moment, one of them skips a choice, which means around 190 combinations where 1 could work (could being the key word as it's probably simply bugged), so even if that's not the case, as a general thought: FᴗCK YOU, BEEMOOV.

I would have enjoyed a plot where Gardienne's father wasn't the one with the faery bloodline

He still remembers her, but he's just a normal human, who was kind of cold towards everyone, because he was too much of a businessman, and had a fight with his wife's parents because they kept talking about those fairy tales that have been passed down their family for many generations, up to his kid.

I don't know, for some reason, I think it would've been more shocking to have him approaching them out of desperation once he realizes that, whatever happened to his daughter, can't be explained any way without getting magic involved. Imagine him getting his ego this low to try to find anything that can allow him to get his girl back, he even apologizes to them after years and years of fight, and then his wife dumps him. Ouch. I would've loved that storyline, I would be a lot more understanding with him, knowing that he made big sacrifices to get where he is.

Right now, I can't say I don't like it, but it doesn't feel personal at all. He just searched for a reason to not call himself crazy, and found this weird cult thing just because apparently the potion doesn't work in faeries (???? that doesn't fit the 1st season, but whatever, I guess now this is the new canon), and joined. So far, it doesn't feel like his goal was to find his daughter, it was just an event that allowed him to find this place.

Again, I'm not saying the story we have now is bad, it can just be a decision to introduce things this way, I just hope they don't just want to have the dad as a plain villain. I hope they give him reasons to just not walk into Eldarya himself and get his kid back as soon as he could. It would suck if they just solve the parents/family problem by just making them villains that they'll kill in the end so Gardienne doesn't have to make decisions between staying on Earth or Eldarya x-x

Charles's L'o'M at -15 (sorry I loved freaking the guy who stole our daemon): I'm not ready (negative) -> i get the similarity, but to believe it to be the same story... (Negative) -> my friends would rather sleep in other place (should be neutral) ->i don't make promises I can't be sure to fulfill.. -> Erika's internal dialogue: Calm down, Erika, they would never do that

I have been told several times the part when Erika talks to herself doesn't has injerence in Lei's image. I know a gal is trying Charles's dialogue variation +'it happened before... With Edgard' anyway. I bow to her patience ✨ if I have enough time I may try the other one, but don't take it as a promise.

The true route and Gardienne's personality in ANE

~I know some people get angry for some reason when someone talks about the true route, but whatever, I have to say this, if you don't like the subject keep scrolling~

I used to say that if Lance became a route, he'd automatically be the true route of the game because of the development it'd be tied to. Since they trashed all developments, now I see things differently.

Gardi got told her father was talking a lot about his daughter ever since 8 years ago, and he insisted on keep looking for her, he rebuilt her entire room to the slightest detail, and as nobody believed him, and his wife left him, he stopped talking about it and got very focused on his work. She asked if he did anything to find her, and Ignace said no. She assumed he gave up, he didn't care, and got really angry.

I take from this that she's biased on her father for the cold relationship they had before she ended up in Eldarya (making sense to The Origins, I'd also say she had soft thoughts about him remembering how they used to cook together sometimes, only because she thought she had lost him forever, now that she's back, only the memories of their cold relationship remain), and that her mind is now very black and white. Her dad wasn't around, she found him before he found her, she's not trying to understand reasons; he's a bad father.

Based on that, I can only say that the routes Lance and Leiftan are completely incompatible with Gardi. Sure, their routes exist, you can play them and have a blast (I sure do with Lance), but in my head, if the story wasn't based on the player's choices, the current Gardi, by the way she thinks, would never make room in her head to try to understand a villain, as much as they are making efforts.

Her father gave clear signs of caring so much for her: rebuilding her room just like it was before inch by inch from memory, trying to convince people to keep (not "start") looking for her to the point that his wife ended up abandoning him, and even after he stopped insisting, he still gave orders to receive her home if she ever came back, and kept talking about her to Ignace, he even drew her, so Ignace could recognize her, and as soon as she appeared he got people to look for her and pick her up whatever it costs (let's not forget she told Ignace she was captured)... if she didn't had the mind to try understanding her father, the fact that he had to work a lot to give her the life she used to enjoy, and the fact that Ignace literally can't remember if they were looking all over the planet for her before she drank the potion... she's in my opinion completely unable to be in a relationship with any former villains.

All the information is there for her to take it and understand him, but she's unable to, she can only think about how bad it felt for her before, and that says more to her than the new information.

This doesn't make her a bad person, though, she's completely in her right to think about herself. All the opposite, I'm glad she's finally caring more for her than the rest of the world, but it does take away all the empathy she used to have and was a key part of her personality. She used to care and try to feel for everyone, which was the reason the Fenghuangs offered her a place among them. The change from the first season to the second one sadly brought a whole change of view about the world, it used to be about grey areas, now it is a very drastic black and white situation.

Sure, I see it through Gardi, but just look at Lance and Leif, both of them are ashamed of their past, and only because they think they used to be completely wrong Gardi can now see them as something else. I'm pretty sure under the first season's point of view, they would still not be proud of what they did, but they would embrace it too as a part of them that they understand; now having a wider and wiser view of life, they can see why being on the good side is better. Personally, I loved the game for the old view, you can blame it on my growing up watching Star Wars kind of life, but it makes the new season too closed-minded for my taste (which it's a shame as my favorite route had to make bad propaganda for himself in order to fit the tastes of supervisor who didn't like him to start with, instead of the tastes of the people who were in love with him the way he was from the very start).

For now I'm divided between Nevra and Mathieu as for which one is the true route. Since we're on Mathieu's arc right now, everything is kind of made for people in his route, but it still feels very right to be in Nevra's route, it makes a lot of sense since they were friends/lovers before, but again, Mathieu is the one person Gardi can completely understand, and they sure have a great development so far, he's probably the only route who had a good development...

Let's wait for Nevra's arc to see if Math still stands.

Cada vez que le cuento este final a alguien hago mucho hincapié en este diálogo, en que está terminando con ella porque quiere que aprenda a conocerse a sí misma primero. Durante todo el juego sentí que Eloise no tenía opinión propia, que Neil le decía sus propias opiniones y Eloise era como una esponjita que absorbía las opiniones de él y las seguía como si fueran suyas sin siquiera planteárselo (que es lo común en gente que no tiene opinión propia, la primera que escuchan la copian y ya), y este diálogo me hace pensar, quizá erróneamente, que Neil notó eso también. No es realmente un problema de Neil, de hecho no es un problema en su relación siquiera, pero el hecho de que a él le importe que Eloise esté teniendo ese comportamiento tóxico hacia ella misma, dice que la quiere de verdad. Y tiene sentido, ahora ella se siente culpable, así que claramente dentro de su cabeza ahora hay un alboroto de incongruencias, opiniones que en teoría apoya, pero que ahora puestas en práctica la hacen sentir mal. Y bueno, Neil quiere que ella descubra todo por su cuenta, que se arme su propia personalidad, sus reglas y mundo antes de meterla al suyo de esta forma. No tiene gracia para mí una relación donde le aportes nada al otro a través de intercambios de opiniones, y en parte siento que Neil está sintiendo eso mismo, que es como estar en la relación el solo.

No sé, puede que esté totalmente equivocada, ya que esa personalidad de Eloise era la correspondiente a la ruta "positiva" que en realidad era mala, y en esta cuenta donde llegué al final neutro es donde SIEMPRE le llevé la contraria a Neil en todo, y no conozco realmente la personalidad de Eloise en la verdadera ruta positiva, pero para mí y mis conocimientos, este final satisface todas las cosas que me desagradaron de la ruta ;w;

Y acá radica la mayor diferencia con el final bueno. Para Neil aquí no es suficiente tener una vida eterna al lado de Eloise, quiere recuperar sus poderes, y ya que quedarse es importante para Eloise e incompatible con recuperarlos, quiere lo suficiente a Eloise como para no arruinar la vida que ella desea, pero no lo suficiente para resignarse, así que opta por lo sano: terminar. Mientras que en el final bueno al tener que elegir entre Eloise y sus poderes, elige a Eloise.

¿Puedes por favor dejar de romper conmigo en público?

Me decepciona que nadie reaccionara a esto porque en mi ruta había ocultado lo que tenía con Neil hasta el final djfhdjhfj aunque Vlad los pilló en la cama, y Aaron casi besándose pero bueno, quiero drama, denme drama.

Acá igual cabe destacar que Eloise está todo el rato hablando de ella, defendiéndose a ella sola, e intentando asegurarse de que la perdonen a ella. En ningún momento habla por Neil, o aboga por él. Esto me gusta porque, primero, da a entender que por más que Eloise le diga a Neil que quiere que se quede, no piensa en él ni le importa él tanto como ella misma (cosa que alabo, porque estuve todo el juego odiando el hecho de que Neil era su prioridad 1, 2 y 3), también que aunque siente un apego y tal, le importa más conservar su relación con los vampiros que con Neil (cosa importante a tener en mente si alguien quiere sacar este final, a ese pensamiento tienen que apuntar las opciones), y que definitivamente Eloise necesita crecer un poco, no solo por las razones que luego dirá Neil, sino porque no piensa en su pareja como un "nosotros". No solo no encajan sus estilos de vida, sino que Eloise no tiene visión para él.

Excepto la que te hice de no decirle a nadie que intentaste matar a mi chongo pero bueno xd
