oh sick bluesky supports adding gifs from tenor now. once that site fixes more of its missing features, I'll be using it as my main social media. and posting on tumblr WAY way less. (i've said it before but i really don't fit in with this site's culture and its not great for selling art either.)

it'll be nice not to have to annoy people by boosting my stuff constantly. there is zero doubt in my mind i'll be able to support myself better once people move over there from twitter.

my current one, while functjonal, is absolutely showing signs of its age lately. a faster one that doesnt hang and crash all the time = i can work more + get things done sooner = i can help with the insane costs our abusive grandfather is demanding monthly now and daily living costs much, much more than im able to now.

i am so sorry to ask for help once again, but i am extremely desperate and strapped for cash

my older sister (who i live with) did not pay our electric bill this month, and i, who is on a much lower wage than she is, had to pay for it all and therefore have no more money for rides. she has also decided to leave town for the weekend, leaving her violent dog that has bitten me multiple times and her two sons at home and for me to take care of which means they’re going to eat my groceries which i have bought just for me and bought on food stamps, and on top of that i need money to even get to my job and i’m working through commissions at the same time as well

the thing that bugs me the most about the censoring of the internet to please advertisers is like… tv shows aren’t having less sex and violence in them. movies aren’t having less sex and violence in them. HBO can do eight seasons of graphic murder and nudity and it’s the cultural phenomenon of the decade, but I can’t show a nipple on tumblr or talk about death on tiktok. it’s not that the internet is becoming “safer,” it’s just making these topics a privilege only for very rich people, and putting it behind a paywall for everyone else.

FINALLY the repairs on the apartment are almost done so I'll finally have a full workday tomorrow. I'm almost out of my ADHD meds though and having to ration them, so hopefully i'll be able to scrounge up the cash for a refill. Not being able to make or post any new art has meant that no commission slots are selling at all, sadly.
