Does necromancy only work on animals? What do you do if you accidentally necromancy a fence and then it starts growing branches?

“Public libraries are such important, lovely places!” Yes but do you GO there. Do you STUDY there. Do you meet friends and get coffee there. Do you borrow the FREE, ZERO SUBSCRIPTION, ZERO TRACKING books, audiobooks, ebooks, and films. Have you checked out their events and schemes. Do you sign up for the low cost courses in ASL or knitting or programming or writing your CV that they probably run. Do you know they probably have myriad of schemes to help low income families. Do you hire their low cost rooms if you need them. Have you joined their social groups. Do you use the FREE COMPUTERS. Do you even know what your library is trying to offer you. Listen, the library shouldn’t just exist for you as a nice idea. That’s why more libraries shut every year

I miss the era where there'd be outtakes to animated movies like toy story or early 2000s barbie movies that shit was hilarious and so wholesome

being an adult is just saying to yourself “this is the weekend i’ll clean my [x]” and then proceeding to not do that because it’s the weekend and you deserve to relax, goddamnit

Quick thing for people writing Scottish characters - dinnae, didnae and disnae are not interchangeable.
Dinnae - do not/don’t
Didnae - did not/didn’t
Disnae - does not/doesn’t
“I dinnae want to do that” means “I don’t want to do that.”
“They didnae find the loot” means “they didn’t find the loot”
“He disnae ken what he’s talking about” means “he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”
What I’ve noticed is that there is a tendency for non-Scots writers to always use “dinnae” regardless of context. I’m assuming that’s because it’s a quick shorthand to show the character is Scottish for the audience which is pretty much… you know. How media works.
Unfortunately, every time I hit a sentence like “he dinnae want it”, my brain goes ERROR ERROR ABORT OUT OF CHEESE.
I doesn’t like it.

I think people need to tell more kids that they're proud of them for graduating high school. I'm absolutely dead serious, especially now. I can see the graduating high schoolers surrounding me right now are burned out and traumatized and depressed, and they've undoubtedly had a much, much harder time in high school than I ever had, and I had some pretty shitty high school experiences.
I graduated high school with no more acknowledgement than the standard "congrats on surviving another year of school!" And immediately followed by "have you finished all your scholarship applications?" That was fine for me. I knew i wanted to go to college, I was set and ready for it, eager to get out of high school into more challenging courses.
But if I just finished high school after two years of fighting through online courses and no one acknowledged the battles I went through? If I was as burnt out and traumatized as these kids are right now? I'd have never have gone to college.
So for everyone graduating high school, even if you barely scraped by passing: I see you. I'm proud of you. You did such a good job. I wish you success in what you try to do, fortune enough to keep you safe and happy, and health always.

My boyfriend just got hit by another car who sped off. The passenger side door won't even open now and we have literally no money. He was literally on the way home from getting his stitches out and also from hearing from his cancer Dr that he is not in fact going into remission at all and his stage 3 stomach cancer is getting worse. He and I have two toddlers together and we also take care of his elderly grandmother with alzheimers.
I'm the only one in my family that can work and my job pays very little and I'm still continuing to have to miss work because my boyfriend is so severely sick. Our gas has been shut off for a couple weeks now so we don't even have any hot water and our electric bill is due next week.
Please, my family desperately needs help
