I don't normally make myself a pot of coffee and drink 2 big mugs of it but when I do, it's Solo Parenting Monday.

#husband is out of town for his regularly scheduled office day #i have no emergency back up because they are sick with what is presumably That Famous Illness #and I'm choosing not to worry that my child has spent a lot of the weekend at their place #and praying my immunity does a lot of heavy lifting for the both of us

I'm still here. We've had 3 whole days in a row of doing things and I am exhausted but happy. My grandma came to visit Baby P (and me and my husband too I guess 😜) and brought a few other family members with her. My husband and I went out on a date day to the city and got an oil change, went clothes shopping, had ramen, and saw Dune Part 2. We have been planning and canceling this date all month so it was really nice to finally do it. And today we had breakfast and morning service with some of the family at church and lunch with all the family. Some were sick and stayed home, poor things.

Update on the slander incident: one of the individuals involved was compelled by his pastor to take his bad review of the church down and he did!

I love the optimism that the USPS has that my package which upon last scan is still in the process of coming over from the other end of the country will arrive in the next 45 minutes.

My poor 3 year old nephew who has 2 baby cousins and a baby sister all living with him upon seeing my son: *with disgust and disappointment* "Another baby?"

The consignment shop is closed indefinitely too. There's nothing fun to do in town anymore except go to the library and the bakery.

#I'm less and less excited about living here #im hoping things come back in the summer #at least when the weathers warmer well have camping and other out of town adventures #brother is visiting then too #and baby p's birthday party to look forward too

nooo you don't understaaand I would literally do so well as a stay at home wife…….. I cook fairly well, if I may say so myself, can keep house, love to make things beautiful, am a fun conversationalist and a good listener, will fill the house with music and good smells and a great deal of laughter, am very agreeable and love engaging in shenanigans and adventures, and PERSONALLY I WOULD LOVE HAVING TIME TO STUDY, READ, CREATE, GARDEN, BAKE BREAD, RESEARCH, AND WORK FROM HOME IN A CREATIVE CAPACITY TO MY HEART'S CONTENT WHILE ALSO INVESTING IN A DEEP AND ATTENTIVE WAY TO THE DUTY OF LOVE
