It’s not like Nesta really knew what she was doing when she moved out. All she knows is that there is a rift between her and Feyre; a scar splitting their shared skin, a wound opening and reopening, never to heal.

And so she’s away. They’ve made their mistakes and let them be. They’ve hurt each other and even tried to love, but sisters love each other too much for love—and so she’s away. The guilt is still there, but farther from her, now. Nesta stirs it into her morning coffee and drinks the sleep, wiping it from beneath her eyes and the lines around her mouth.

Every so often Cassian will text her, inviting her out to dinner or to a work party, and Nesta resists the urge to throttle him. He’s a very smart, thirty-five year old man. He should know what cutting off someone means.

Okay but now that I’m thinking of rich girl Nesta, I want Nesta to be spoiled and for her to demand to be spoiled. Bring acotar Nesta back, where she’s like oh lame-o proposal, try again. I want Nesta to be a terrible person on the outside lmao, and I want Cassian to cater to it because he loves her and he’s fond of these parts of Nesta too, where she’s demanding and honest. He’s happy that she’s comfortable to be like that and with him. He’s thriving in it. He’s been waiting all this time for this. Those presents???? Cassian wants to be a sugar daddy so bad. Cassian wants to cater to his girl. Clearly. This is literally their dynamic!

I really don't understand this concept of Nesta needing to be held accountable for how she treated Feyre in the cabin.

Was Nesta mean to Feyre? Yes. Was Feyre mean to Nesta in those same chapters? Yes. How come no one wants to talk about how Feyre needs to be held accountable for how she treated Nesta? Because she hunted? Woo-freaking-hoo. Nesta was willing to sacrifice her life for Feyre in ACOWAR and then sacrificed almost all of her powers in ACOSF for Feyre's stupidity. She doesn't owe Feyre anything else. Her debts are paid.

I've said this before, but I'm going to say it again.

Tamlin locked Feyre in the manor to curb her behavior that he didn't approve of.

Feyre locked Nesta in the House of Wind to curb her behavior that the IC didn't approve of.

Just because you call one imprisonment "rehab" doesn't make it right. Both were done for the same reasons, which makes neither one justifiable.

ACOSF did such a bad job with Nessian's romance story that, for the first time after 6 years of them being endgame, people finished the book and started shipping Nesta with someone else.

It’s crazy to me that I even need to say this but nesta was ALSO a child when they lost their wealth and moved to the cabin. The only person to blame for allowing feyre to go into those woods was their father. Children should not have to take care of children. Being the eldest child does not mean you have to become the primary caregiver to your siblings and it certainly doesn’t mean that your evil or failed your siblings if you don’t take up that role.

The only person who failed feyre in that cabin was her father. Not Elain. And certainly not nesta.

Their father failed all of them.

Acowar!Cassian would have schooled everyone on “keep reaching out your hand.” The man flew to the House of Wind for MONTHS because Nesta was there and was literally in the same position of being standoffish and aloof. You can’t tell me he wouldn’t would have shown up at bars or casual appearances under “high lords” orders or “I was walking through this neighborhood strictly because I was stretching my legs, nothing to do with you but while I’m here…” 

Please! Acowar!Cassian would never!

A reminder : No one would've said anything if it was Cassian hooking up with random fae and drinking all day long as a coping mechanism. Their treatment to Nesta wasn't caused by worry.
